> عقد الطيار حسام كمال وزير الطيران المدني اجتماعا ً أمنيا ًموسعا ً مع أعضاء اللجنة العليا لألمن ،في إطار المتابعة المستمرة لمراجعة خطة تأمين مطار القاهرة الدولي والمطارات المصرية. تناول االجتماع اإلجراءات األمنية للجهات المختصة بالمطار ،وما تم تنفيذه من بنود وإجراءات أمنية تم االتفاق عليها في االجتماع األمني الذي عقد في شهر يوليو الماضي ، كما تم مناقشة زيارة وفد من منظمة الطيران المدني الدولي (اإليكاو) إلجراء التدقيق الدوري على مطار القاهرة المقرر له في الفترة من 4حتي 12نوفمبر القادم . > وأشاد الوزير بالتعاون والتنسيق المستمر بين جميع األجهزة األمنية المختصة وكل الجهات العاملة في قطاع الطيران المدني ،وصرح وزير الطيران أن هذا االجتماع يأتي فى إطار سلسلة االجتماعات الدورية التي تعقد مع الجهات األمنية لمراجعة خطة تأمين مطار القاهرة الدولي والمطارات المصرية والتي ترتكز علي االستعداد الدائم لمواجهة أي أحداث طارئة تؤثر علي انتظام الحركة الجوية في مطارات الجمهورية ،وأكد الوزير أن األجهزة األمنية بشركات وهيئات الوزارة وجميع المطارات المصرية تحرص علي استخدام التكنولوجيا الحديثة في نظم المراقبة والتفتيش . حضر االجتماع الطيار محمود الزناتي رئيس سلطة الطيران المدنى والدكتور محمود عصمت رئيس الشركة القابضة للمطارات والمالحة الجوية وشريف فتحي رئيس الشركة القابضة لمصر للطيران واللواء وائل عبد الرازق مدير مصلحة أمن الموانئ واللواء طارق فتحى مدير أمن المطار ،والقيادات األمنية بالمطار ورؤساء الشركات .

شاركت مصرللطيران بوفد برئاسة ا شريف فتحى رئيس مجلس إدارة الشركة القابضة في منتدى رؤساء مجالس إدارات شركات الطيران العربية واجتماع اللجنة التنفيذية رقم 74لالتحاد العربي للنقل الجوي واللذان تم عقدهما خالل الفترة من 9-8أكتوبر 2015فى مدينة مراكش فى المغرب ،هذا وقد رحب أعضاء اللجنة التنفيذية لالتحاد العربي للنقل الجوى بإنضمام فتحى لعضوية اللجنة التنفيذية. تم عقد المنتدى األول لرؤساء مجالس إدارات شركات الطيران العربية تحت عنوان ” :مستقبل صناعة الطيران فى الـ 50عاما ً القادمة ،والتطور التكنولوجى فى مجال خدمة العمالء” والذى تخلله عروض تقديمية وحلقات نقاش عن أحدث األنظمة التكنولوجية لتحسين مستوى خدمة الركاب. وصرح فتحى بأن إجتماع اللجنة التنفيذية لإلتحاد ناقش العديد من الموضوعات المهمة التى تهم شركات الطيران األعضاء ومن بينها موقف شركات الطيران أعضاء اإلتحاد حيال آلية تخفيض إنبعاثات غاز ثانى أوكسيد الكربون المزمع تطبيقها تحت مظلة المنظمة الدولية للطيران المدنى “ICAO”. كما تم مناقشة موضوع حقوق المسافرين وإصدار اإلتحاد العربى وثيقة تتضمن أفضل الممارسات التي تطبقها شركات فى هذا الشأن .هذا باإلضافة إلى إستعراض برامج التعاون ال ُمشترك التى يقدمها اإلتحاد للشركات األعضاء مثل :برنامج التعاون فى مجال الصيانة والهندسة والتعمير ،وبرنامج التعاون فى مجال أمن وسالمة الطيران لتنفيذ آلية لتبادل المعلومات بين شركات الطيران فيما يتعلق بتقييم مخاطر الممرا ت الجوية

Qatar Airways set to be first A350 operator to Australia Most of us thought it would be a question as to whether Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airlines or Vietnam Airlines would be first to bring the Airbus A350 into scheduled service to Australia, but it looks like being Qatar Airways, between Doha and Adelaide, from next May. Qatar Airways is the launch customer for the A350 family, taking both the initial -900 and larger 777-300 sized -1000, and flies the jet with a spacious economy cabin that makes almost all other 787 operators, including itself, look second rate in that type with painfully tight seating for normal sized adults. Having only just announced Sydney as a 777-300ER city for its services from March, the Qatari flag carrier will be adding Adelaide as its fourth Australian destination, after some years of restricting its operations in this country to 777s to Perth and Melbourne. Adelaide isn’t on the Qantas international long haul network. South Australians wishing to fly to London on Qantas flights are expected to fly on commercial partner Emirates instead to Dubai for onward connections, or backtrack to Sydney or Melbourne. The result, pending whatever Qantas might do in the future, is that the South Australian market to the the EU and UK and points in between, is shaping up as a primary contest between Emirates and Qatar Airways while Cathay Pacific and Singapore Airlines, who both have A350s on order, offer frequent alternative services via their Asia hubs.

Qatar Airways takes lead in global fight against blindness For two years starting September 2015 Qatar Airways will be the official airline of global blindness prevention charity Orbis UK. As the Official Airline of Orbis UK, Qatar Airways will be flying medical volunteers on duty to the airline’s destinations worldwide. Mega-airport plan for Ethiopia Addis Ababa - Ethiopia planned to build a mega-airport capable of handling up to 120 million passengers a year, the country’s airports company said. The location of the airport, to be built within a radius of 100km from Addis Ababa, still needs to be established, said Wondim Teklu, a spokesman for Ethiopian Airports Enterprise. “The new airport will be a hub for the whole of Africa,” he said. If the project goes ahead, the east African country’s stateowned Ethiopian Airlines would have one of the largest airports in the world. The current Addis Ababa Bole International Airport is overloaded, receiving more than 8 million passengers a year. Teklu said once the enterprise had identified a site, it would seek appropriate loans. Aviation experts said the number of 120 million potential travellers appeared very high. By comparison, nearly 60 million passengers a year pass through Frankfurt’s airport. Ethiopian Airlines is a member of the Star Alliance group, which is dominated by Lufthansa Airlines. http://atwonline.com Egyptian Tristar Air freighter crashes in Somalia An Egyptian-registered Tristar Air Airbus A300 freighter crashed near the Somali capital Mogadishu around 1930 local time Oct. 12, according to local reports. Local news agency Goobjooog News carried pictures from the scene, some 12nm/22km northwest of Mogadishu’s Aden Adde airport, apparently showing the aircraft registration as SUBMZ. According to specialist websites, the registration belongs to an A300B4-200F of Cairo-based Tristar Air and is believed to be the carrier’s sole equipment. An official at Tristar Air in Cairo told ATW the only company manager authorized to talk on the matter was at Egypt’s civil aviation ministry and was unavailable. A Somali government spokesman, quoted by Goobjoog News, said the six people on board the aircraft suffered minor injuries in what was described as a forced landing. The agency said the aircraft had made several attempts to land at the airport before putting down in a field. The aircraft is believed to have flown from Ostend in Belgium to Cairo before traveling on to Mogadishu.
