مصر للطٌران :نستهدف ضم 3طائرات جدٌدة لتحدٌث األسطول
مؤمن التهامً تسهتدف شركة مصر للطٌران للشحن الجوي ،خالل الفترة المقبلة حزمة من التغٌٌرات والتطوٌر بالشركة ،ضمن خطة الشركة القابضة لتطوٌر أسطولها. ومن المقرر أن تتسلم الشركة طائرتها الثانٌة الجدٌدة من طراز إٌرباص " "A330بحمولة 60 طنا ،بعد تحوٌلها من طائرة ركاب إلى طائرة شحن ،فً نوفمبر المقبل ،لتدخل رسمٌا ضمن أسطول الشركة ،على أن تتسلم طائرتها الثالثة فً ٌونٌو من العام المقبل ،وذلك ضمن اتفاقٌة وقعتها شركة مصر للطٌران مع شركة إٌرباص العالمٌة ،لتحوٌل 3طائرات ركاب من طراز إٌرباص " "A330إلى طائرات شحن. وتتضمن خطة الشركة توسعة المنطقة المخصصة بقرٌة البضائع بمطار القاهرة ،وذلك بالتنسٌق مع شركة مٌناء القاهرة الجوي ،بإجمالً 400متر.

تعقد الشركة القابضة لمصر للطٌران الٌوم األربعاء ،ندوة تثقٌفٌة للعاملٌن بالشركة والشركات التابعة لها ،والعاملٌن بحقل الطٌران المدنً تحت عنوان "صحة المرأة والكشف المبكر عن سرطان الثدي والرحم" للتوعٌة بأهمٌة الكشف عن سرطان الثدي والصحة العامة للمراة العاملة. وٌحاضر فً الندوة ،المقرر انعقادها بمبنى مصر للطٌران ،كل من ،الدكتور محمد خلؾ استاذ جراحة األورام بجامعة عٌن شمس ،والدكتور جمال عمٌرة استاذ جراحة األورام بالمعهد القومً لألورام ،والدكتور أحمد فهٌم رئٌس قسم النساء والوالدة بمستشفى مصر للطٌران ،والدكتور فرٌدي صفوت استشاري األشعة التشخٌصٌة بمستشفى مصر للطٌران.

تاخر إقالع 3رحالت دولٌة من مطار القاهرة بسبب أعمال الصٌانة وظروف التشغٌل كتب أحمد حمادة
شهد مطار القاهرة الدولى مساء الٌوم ،األربعاء ،تأخر إقالع 3رحالت دولٌة عن المواعٌد المقررة لها بجدول التشغٌل وذلك بسبب أعمال الصٌانة وظروف التشغٌل. قالت مصادر مالحٌة بمطار القاهرة إن رحلة الخطوط الملكٌة األردنٌة 504 المتجهة إلى عمان تأخرت عن موعد إقالعها لمدة ساعتٌن وذلك بسبب أعمال الصٌانة. وأضافت المصادر أن رحلتى الخطوط نسما 110المتجهة إلى حائل184 ، المتجهة إلى ٌنبع لمدة ساعتٌن وذلك بسبب أعمال الصٌانة وظروؾ التشؽٌل.

الكوٌت توقع اتفاقٌة تعاون مع االتحاد الدولى للطٌران "اٌاتا" وقعت الكوٌت واالتحاد الدولى للطٌران (اٌاتا) ،الٌوم األربعاء ،اتفاقٌة لتعزٌز التعاون فى مجال تنمٌة قطاع الطٌران المدنً ،تشمل إجراءات السالمة ،وتبادل المعلومات ،والشحن الرقمى واألمن الذكً. ووقع االتفاقٌة عن الجانب الكوٌتى رئٌس الطٌران المدنى الكوٌتى الشٌخ سلمان الحمود الصباح ،فٌما وقع عن (اٌاتا) المدٌر العام الكساندر دى جونٌاك ،ونائب رئٌس (اٌاتا) إلقلٌم الشرق األوسط وأفرٌقٌا محمد البكري. وقال الشٌخ سلمان الصباح -فى تصرٌح صحفى -إن االتفاقٌة ستمهد لتعاون مشترك تستفٌد منه الكوٌت فى مجاالت إدارة المطارات وأمن الطٌران وؼٌرها ،وهو ما ٌصب مع استراتٌجٌة الدولة ورؤٌة (كوٌت جدٌدة .)2035 وأوضح الصباح أن الكوٌت تدرك أهمٌة تنمٌة قطاع النقل التجارى الجوي ،وحركة الطٌران المدنً ،كقاطرة لعملٌة التنمٌة المستقبلٌة ،فضال عن كون االتفاقٌة ،انطالقة التفاقٌات أخرى مع (اٌاتا) فى مجاالت مختلفة ،تستفٌد منها صناعة الطٌران المدنى فى الكوٌت. ومن جانبه ،قال نائب رئٌس (اٌاتا) محمد البكري ،إن هذه االتفاقٌة تعكس حرص المسؤولٌن على صناعة الطٌران المدنى فى الكوٌت ،وهو ما ٌنعكس أٌضا إٌجابٌا على اقتصادات الكوٌت والمنطقة. وبدوره ،أكد نائب المدٌر العام لشؤون سالمة الطٌران والنقل الجوى المهندس عماد الجلوي ،أن االتفاقٌة تؤدى إلى تطوٌر العنصر البشرى العامل فى مجال الطٌران المدنى من تدرٌب، واالرتقاء فى األداء ،الفتا إلى أن الكوٌت هى الدولة الثانٌة بالشرق االوسط التى توقع هذه االتفاقٌة ،مما ٌضمن لها الحصول على آخر ما توصلت إلٌه تكنولوجٌا الطٌران.

Earlier this month, EgyptAir said Al-Ahram is to blame for Horus' content and specifically for the Barrymore article, which was riddled with misspellings and grammatical errors. It described Barrymore as "being unstable in her relationships" and quoted her as saying that motherhood was "the most important role" of her life.

Ethiopia Airlines to start flying to Somalia for the first time in four decades
Ethiopia Airlines reported on Tuesday that the airline is set to start flying to the Somali capital, Mogadishu.
”Our flights will quickly grow to multiple daily flights given the huge volume of traffic between the two sisterly countries and the significant traffic between Somalia and the rest of the world,“ Ethiopian Airlines CEO, Tewolde Gebremariam, was quoted as saying by state broadcaster Fana. Ethiopian Airlines stopped its route to Mogadishu in the 1970s, before stopping flights to Somalia entirely at the beginning of hostilities between Somalia and Ethiopia in1977-1978. Somalia which has been rocked by civil conflict for over three decades, prompting many airlines to stop flying to the country has in recent years regained its footing after semblance of stability was restored.

On June this year, Somali Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority (SCAMA), a body mandated to provide regulations of Civil Aviation activities and to develop an infrastructure for safe, efficient, adequate, economical and properly coordinated Civil Air Transport Service in Somalia, announced it would be closing its offices based in Nairobi and relocate back to Somalia, effectively ushering a new chapter of Somalia’s airspace being controlled within Somalia. The latest development is another boost to Somalia’s aviation industry and expected to a play a central role in building better relations between Ethiopia and Somalia.
”The flights will play a significant role in strengthening the people-topeople and economic ties between the two neighborly and sisterly countries,“ said Gebremariam. The flights will also for sure brighten the faces of Somali’s diaspora community scattered across the globe and who are credited with cushioning the country’s fragile economy by sending billions back home annually.
”The flights will also enable the important Somali Diaspora in the Americas, Europe, Asia, Middle East, Europe and Africa to travel to their homeland via Addis Ababa thanks to our global network of over 116 international destinations,“ he added.

Africa Only Has One Megahub In The World’s Most Internationally Connected Airports Top 50 List , which handles aviation data of more than 57 million records of flight status updates per year, has released its Megahubs International Index. It highlights the top 50 megahubs, with South Africa’s Olive Tambo International in Johannesburg making the list in position number 43. It is also the only African inclusion on the list. Leading the pack is London’s Heathrow with its international connectivity offering, all within a six-hour window. On the busiest day for aviation in 2018, there were 66 000 possible international connections between flights arriving and departing at the airport within a six-hour window. The OAG Methodology compares the number of scheduled connections to and from international flights with the number of destinations served from the airport. The connectivity metric is different to the number of passengers served. Dubai International held this title as the world’s busiest airport for International travel in 2017, after seeing some 88.2 million passengers in 2017, a 5% increase from the 83.6m passengers it served in 2016. OAG says through its Megahubs International Index looks at the effectiveness of the world’s leading international hubs as ”connecting points, globally and regionally, and provides a platform for comparison for these international airports“.

ACI World calls for collaboration in moving Africa’s airport industry forward.
Angela Gittens, Airports Council International (ACI) World’s director general has called on aviation authorities and airports in Africa to realistically assess challenges together so that common aviation-related safety and security actions can be implemented. Talking at ACI Africa’s Annual General Assembly, which is taking place this week in Abidjan, Ivory Coast and is themed around Challenges of Safety and Security in African Airports , she said: As the second largest and second-most populous continent, boasting over 1.2 billion inhabitants, Africa is expected to become a vital participant in the global economy. In 2017, the continent was home to some of the fastest-growing economies on the planet and its growth rate has been trending upwards in recent months. African airports are encouraged to urgently adopt risk-based safety and security concepts, advance technologies, and process innovation.

2 Sessions covering how aviation continues to be highly exposed to a wide range of operational safety risks and an attractive target for terrorists, including the landside areas of airports, speakers including Gittens have urged the importance of addressing these threats. Underlining how effective and efficient measures are needed to tackle the issue, including the deployment of new screening technologies and safety management systems there is also pressure to ensure effective management practices and training. Referencing how ”airports have become businesses in their own right and have to excel in a full range of activities,“ Gittens said aviation has the potential to grow significantly in Africa. ”We have to realistically assess our challenges together, and we have to go forward hand-inhand because there is so much we can achieve.“ Header image: George Airport, South Africa.
