«جنٌنة» :التأهٌل المستمر فى مجال السالمة والصحة إحدى أهم أولوٌات القطاع تحت رعاٌة وزٌر الطٌران المدنى الفرٌق ٌونس المصرى ،افتتح الطٌار أحمد ماهر جنٌنة رئٌس مجلس إدارة الشركة القابضة للمطارات والمالحة الجوٌة ،المؤتمر الثانى للسالمة والصحة المهنٌة والذى ٌحمل عنوان «واقع وآفاق السالمة والصحة المهنٌة كأحد محاور التنمٌة المستدامة» بحضور الطٌار وائل النشار رئٌس مجلس إدارة الشركة المصرٌة للمطاراتٌ.ناقش المؤتمر الذى ٌعقد ٌومى 25و 26نوفمبر الجوانب االقتصادٌة واالجتماعٌة وعالقتها بالتنمٌة المستدامة، التنمٌة المستدامة وعالقتها بالسالمة والصحة المهنٌة ،السالمة الكهربائٌة وعالقتها بالتنمٌة المستدامة ،مبادئ العمل الالئق كأساس لتحقٌق التنمٌة المستدامة ،سالمة وصحة العاملٌن ،التعامل مع الكوارث فى المطارات المصرٌة ،حماٌة العاملٌن من مخاطر بٌئة العمل طبقا لمفهوم التنمٌة المستدامة بخطة مصر .2030صرح الطٌار أحمد جنٌنة بأن تلك المؤتمرات ضرورٌة فى قطاع حٌوى وحساس كقطاع المطارات المصرٌة ،مشٌراً إلى أن التأهٌل المستمر فى مجال السالمة والصحة المهنٌة من أولوٌات الشركة القابضة للمطارات. وأضاؾ أن الربط بٌن موضوع السالمة والصحة المهنٌة والتنمٌة المستدامة التى تعد االستراتٌجٌة األساسٌة لرؤٌة مصر ٌ 2030كسب هذا المؤتمر بعدا هاما ً ٌفٌد قطاع الطٌران بالكامل. تأثٌر إٌجابً ومن جانبه صرح الطٌار وائل النشار رئٌس مجلس إدارة الشركة المصرٌة للمطارات بأن األبحاث والدراسات الحدٌثة أكدت التأثٌر اإلٌجابى لبرامج السالمة والصحة المهنٌة فى خفض معدالت اإلصابات واألمراض والمخاطر المهنٌة وزٌادة معدالت اإلنتاج ،وٌعتبر هذا البرنامج جزءا ال ٌتجزأ من النظام اإلدارى للشركة المصرٌة للمطارات ونحن نسعى دائما ً إلى تحقٌق حماٌة العنصر البشرى من اإلصابات الناجمة عن مخاطر بٌئة العمل حٌث أن العنصر البشرى هو الثروة الحقٌقٌة ألى مؤسسة ناجحة.جدٌر بالذكر أن هذا المؤتمر هو الثانى من نوعه الذى تعقده الشركة القابضة للمطارات والمالحة الجوٌة حٌث حقق المؤتمر األول الذى حمل عنوان «إدارة وتحلٌل وتقٌٌم المخاطر الوظٌفٌة بالمطارات المصرٌة» نجاحا ً كبٌرا وخرج بمجموعة من التوصٌات المهمة التى تم تعمٌمها على قطاع الطٌران. ٌحاضر فى المؤتمر مجموعة من المحاضرٌن الدولٌٌن والخبراء بوزارة القوى العاملة واالستشارٌٌن بقطاع الطٌران المدنى وٌحضره 200من العاملٌن بقطاع الطٌران المدنى.

فى إطار توجٌهات الفرٌق ٌونس المصرى وزٌر الطٌران المدنى بضرورة المتابعة المستمرة ألعمال تطوٌر المطارات والتواصل مع العاملٌن ،قام الطٌار وائل النشار رئٌس مجلس إدارة الشركة المصرٌة للمطارات بعقد لقاء مع العاملٌن بمطار شرم الشٌخ الدولى وقدم لهم الشكر على األداء الفعال فى العمل الذى كان له بالػ األثر فى إنقاذ الطائرة األوكرانٌة.وأشار «النشار» إلى أن الخطط واالستراتٌجٌات التى وضعتها وزارة الطٌران تحت قٌادة وزٌر الطٌران المدنى تسعى إلى االهتمام بالعامل وتحقٌق الصالح العام للشركات التابعة ،وأنه من واجب الموظؾ الوقوؾ ضد أى قصور والتبلٌػ عنه ألنه ال سبٌل سوى الحفاظ على مستوى األداء الممٌز الذى تصل إلٌه الشركة حالٌا ً.وأكد «النشار» توفٌر جمٌع متطلبات المطار من األولوٌات للظهور بأفضل صورة استعدادا الستقبال منتدى شباب العالم فى الشهر الحالى ،وأوصى سٌادته باإلتقان فى العمل وعدم االستماع للشائعات التى من شأنها عرقلة العمل الجاد. كما شملت الزٌارة متابعة سٌر عمل المطار للتأكد من انتظام التشؽٌل والتأكد من مستوى الخدمات المقدمة للمسافرٌن خاصة فى ظل الكثافة التى ٌشهدها المطار حالٌا. االدارة العامة للعالقات العامة والمراسم الشركة القابضة لمصر للطيران
مطار األقصر الدولً ٌنفذ تجربة طوارئ واسعة النطاق كتبت -أمانى سالمة:
«النشار» :فى صدارة تجارب الطوارئ التى تتعامل مع األشالء وحطام الطائرة بعد تحطمها فى إطار توجٌهات الفرٌق ٌونس المصرى وزٌر الطٌران المدنى برفع كفاءة المطارات المصرٌة وااللتزام بتنفٌذ تشرٌعات المنظمة الدولٌة للطٌران المدنى (االٌكاو) وسلطة الطٌران المدنى ،قام مطار األقصر الدولى بتنفٌذ تجربة طوارئ واسعة النطاق لحادث انحراؾ طائرة عن الممر نتٌجة هبوط عنٌؾ مما أدى إلى كسر فى مجموعة العجل الٌسرى وكذلك مٌل الطائرة وانحرافها وارتطام المحرك بسطح المدرج وانفصاله عن جسم الطائرة واندالع حرٌق به. حٌث تم إطالق سارٌنة الطوارئ من قبل برج المراقبة الجوٌة وعملٌات المطار وتداول البالغ من الجهات المعنٌة بإدارة األزمات فى المطار والجهات الخارجٌة المختصة ،وتمت االستجابة فى وقت قٌاسى من قوات اإلطفاء واإلنقاذ ،وتوجه مركز القٌادة المتحرك لقٌادة الحادث مع فتح مركز عملٌات الطوارئ الثابت لقٌادة الحدث خارجٌا وداخلٌا ،وتفعٌل مخطط سرٌان البالغ الستدعاء جمٌع عناصر الدعم الداخلى من المطار والخارجى من محافظة األقصر من إسعاؾ وإطفاء مع ؼلق المحاور المرورٌة المؤدٌة إلى المستشفٌات مع تجهٌز مستشفٌات األقصر الستقبال جمٌع الحاالت من إصابات ووفٌات.وأشاد الطٌار وائل النشار رئٌس الشركة المصرٌة للمطارات ،بمستوى التدرٌب الذى وصل إلٌه العاملون بمطار األقصر الدولى وجمٌع الجهات المتعاونة ،وبمستوى التعاون والتنسٌق بٌن المطار والجهات المعنٌة بالمحافظة الحتواء األزمة ،مضٌفا ً أن تجربة الطوارئ واسعة النطاق ُتنفذ كل عامٌن مع الحرص على زٌادة درجة الصعوبة والتحدى فى كل مرة وتأتى هذه التجربة فى صدارة تجارب الطوارئ التى تتعامل مع األشالء وحطام الطائرة بعد تحطمها.ومن جانبه أشاد اللواء عماد أبو العزائم سكرتٌر عام محافظة األقصر بنجاح التجربة وقدرة األجهزة التى شاركت فى مواجهة األزمة ،حٌث قام كل جهاز بتقدٌم المساعدة المطلوبة منه فى مواجهة األزمة ،كما قامت قوات الحماٌة المدنٌة واإلطفاء وفرق اإلسعاؾ والحرٌق وأجهزة المطار والحجر الصحى ولجنة تحقٌق الحوادث بتنفٌذ مهامها فى وقت قٌاسى. والجدٌر بالذكر تعاون الشركة المصرٌة للمطارات مع شركة مصر للطٌران ضمن الجهات المشاركة فى الحدث الستقبال أهالى المصابٌن والضحاٌا وتهدئتهم وإعطاء المعلومات الكافٌة عن ذوٌهم.

Aeroflot seeks A350 sale-and-leaseback agreements Russian flag-carrier Aeroflot is planning to have 11 Airbus A350900s in service by the end of 2020, following introduction of the type early next year. Aeroflot Group's directors confirmed the plan during the company's latest board meeting. The airline is seeking offers, through the Russian government's official procurement channel, for operational lease agreements under a sale-and-leaseback scheme for three A350-900s due for delivery in 2020. Aeroflot has been intending to operate its aircraft with a three-class 316-seat layout. The board also discussed regional fleet planning, approving the lease of a further five Sukhoi Superjet 100s in order to "maintain the required number of short-haul aircraft" for Aeroflot. It is to open a competition for lessors to supply the five aircraft, with deliveries planned for the fourth quarter of this year. The Superjet leases, says the company, could be concluded either as a single transaction or five independent ones. Each lease term will be a maximum of 12 years. Aeroflot Group has newly disclosed its nine-month financial results, under international standards, showing a net profit of Rb20.3 billion ($315 million) after a 12% rise in revenues to Rb524 billion.

Russia's S7 Airlines to switch to Beijing Daxing in 1Q20
S7 Airlines (S7, Novosibirsk) is switching its destination airport in Beijing from Beijing Capital to Beijing Daxing Int'l with the start of the Summer 2019 season, ch-aviation analysis of schedule data has revealed. From March 29 onwards, the Russian carrier will operate its 9x weekly service from Irkutsk Int'l, weekly routes from Krasnoyarsk Yemelyanovo and Ulan-Ude, 11x weekly city pair from Novosibirsk, and 3x weekly rotations from Vladivostok to the new airport. S7 will fly a mixture of equipment on these routes including its A320200neos, A320-200s, B737-800s, and E170s. The Russian carrier joins a host of international airlines that have made the move from the Chinese capital city's main airport at Beijing Capital, including British Airways (BA, London Heathrow), Malaysia Airlines (MH, Kuala Lumpur Int'l), and Royal Air Maroc (AT, Casablanca Int'l). Earlier this month, Ural Airlines (U6, Ekaterinburg) decided to make the same switch between Beijing's airports, with its Irkutsk, Ekaterinburg and Vladivostok services moving. flydubai Confirms Wet Lease Agreement with Smartwings
flydubai announced that it has finalised an agreement with Smartwings to wet lease four Next-Generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft between 14 December 2019 and 25 January 2020. The Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance and Insurance (ACMI) agreement with Smartwings will see four-leased aircraft supplement the carrier’s fleet of 40 Next-Generation Boeing 737-800s and will add more capacity during the busy seasonal travel period.

The State of Qatar and East Timor sign an Initial Air Services Agreement
Bilateral consultations between the civil aviation authorities of Qatar and the Republic of East Timor resulted in signature of an initial air services agreement between the two countries. The (MoU) was also signed allowing the carriers to operate their flights with the fifth freedom of transport. Under the agreement, carriers of both parties will be allowed to operate an unlimited number of passenger and cargo flights. The consultations discussed all matters related to the civil aviation sector and means of developing and enhancing cooperation in this field between the two countries. 1 Boost for Efforts to Tackle Unruly Passengers as MP14 Set to Come into Force
Geneva – The International Air Transport Association (IATA) looks forward to the entry into force of Montreal Protocol 2014 (MP14) on 1 January 2020. MP14 enhances the capacity of states to curb the escalation in the severity and frequency of unruly behavior on board aircraft. This follows the 26 November 2019 ratification of MP14 by Nigeria, the 22nd state to do so. MP14, properly named the Protocol to Amend the Convention on Offences and Certain Other Acts Committed on Board Aircraft, is a global treaty that strengthens the powers of states to prosecute unruly passengers. It closes a legal gap under the Tokyo Convention 1963, whereby jurisdiction over offenses committed on board international flights rests with the state where the aircraft is registered. This causes issues when unruly passengers are delivered to the authorities upon landing in foreign territories.

Unruly and disruptive passenger incidents on board flights include physical assault, harassment, smoking or failing to follow crew instructions. These incidents may compromise flight safety, cause significant delays and operational disruption and adversely impact the travel experience and work environment for passengers and crew. "Everybody on board is entitled to enjoy a journey free from abusive or other unacceptable behavior. But the deterrent to unruly behavior is weak. About 60% of offenses go unpunished because of jurisdictional issues. MP14 strengthens the deterrent to unruly behavior by enabling prosecution in the state where the aircraft lands. The treaty is in force. But the job is not done. We encourage more states to ratify MP14 so that unruly passengers can be prosecuted according to uniform global guidelines," said Alexandre de Juniac, IATA's Director General and CEO. States should also review the effectiveness of the enforcement mechanisms available to them in line with ICAO Guidance on Legal Aspects of Unruly and Disruptive Passengers (ICAO Document 10117) which gives information on how civil and administrative fines and penalties can be used to supplement criminal prosecutions. In addition to strengthening jurisdiction and enforcement, airlines are working on a range of measures to help prevent incidents and manage them more effectively when they do happen. These include enhanced crew training and raising awareness with passengers of the potential consequences of unruly behavior on board.

1 AIRBUS BOSS DOES NOT REGRET A380 DECISION
The order by Emirates for 50 Airbus A350s at the recent Dubai Air Show was a last-minute affair, so much so that there wasn’t even time to print press releases in time for the announcement press conference. This emerged when Airbus CEO Guillaume Faury faced journalists now in Hamburg, Germany. READ our list of the best airlines for 2020. The lengthy exclusive interview the President of Emirates, Sir Tim Clark, had granted AirlineRatings.com recently was apparently very much in the back of Airbus executives’ minds. Sir Tim had predicted that orders by Emirates at the show were unlikely, and indeed that seemed to be the case initially. Clark had also criticized OEM’s in general for overpromising and delivering too little of it too late. ―We are very grateful that they have awarded us with a contract for 50 A350s,‖ Faury told AirlineRatings in Hamburg. ―I think we are not disappointing when it comes to the A350. ―Emirates ordering the A350 right after what Tim Clark said is a very strong commitment and testimonial of the strength of the A350.‖ Asked about the industry problem of overpromising, Faury declined to comment on Boeing or engine manufacturers’ issues, both of which have been very much in the focus of criticism. ―If we look at ourselves in terms of disappointment, we have difficulties in the speed of ramp-ups of our A320 blockbuster, so we have to be humble,‖ Faury said. ―I don’t think we disappoint on the product side, rather on the contrary. But yes, we are under strong pressure to deliver the products we have committed to faster, and we had difficulties with it that we try to overcome.‖ A major issue between Emirates and the European manufacturer is the ending of the A380 production in 2021, after having delivered a total of 123 of the giants to the airline, which operates more than half of the worldwide fleet of the superjumbo.

2 Sir Tim had said that Airbus would rue the day it decided to shut the program down. ―The day we were sorry about the closure of the program is in the past, it was earlier this year,‖ said the Airbus CEO about the announcement of the end of the line in February. ―We love the A380, as do the passengers, and I know Tim Clark has a very personal and emotional relationship with the A380. ―So do we, and as it comes to emotion, yes we are very sad with the situation. But will we regret the A380 shutdown one day? I don’t think so.‖ Faury emphasized the benefits of the program now and in the future. ―We would never )have( had such a successful A350 if we would not have learned many things from the A380. ―So in many ways, the A380 is still alive through the technologies we have put in the A350 – which obviously fits very well in today’s market,‖ stresses the Airbus CEO. ―In terms of architecture, will we again see large planes with 500-plus tons of take-off weight and four engines? Probably not, as Boeing also winds down the 747 and there is no other manufacturer with any four-engine aircraft project in sight.‖ Faury also is steadfast in his belief that the A380 was the right thing to do. ―As a manufacturer, we think it’s a success‖, he proclaimed. ―The commercial success we had envisaged has not come to the expected magnitude because the world has changed, because the twin long-range A350-type planes are very successful, they come with flexibility and point-to-point capacity. Things have moved forward.‖ And he is content as long as it is Airbus that has competitive products selling well. ―This is the very nature of innovation to bring new solutions and to keep improving,‖ he said. ―If we have to disrupt ourselves from time to time, well that’s the rule of the game.‖ Airbus has been very cautious during the Boeing 737MAX crisis to not appear publicly as taking advantage of its competitor’s misery. In Hamburg, Faury was emphasizing again that even if Airbus would want to fill the gap in aircraft deliveries caused by the grounded Boeing bestseller, it simply can’t. ―With a backlog of the A320 family of over 6,000 aircraft for eight or nine years of production we have no delivery slot available before 2024 or rather 2025,‖ he said. ―There is no way we can offer slots to bridge the gap of missing aircraft due to the 737MAX grounding.‖ What concerns him more is the overall outcome of the MAX crisis for the aircraft industry, as longstanding procedures of certifying new aircraft might change and complicate procedures and ultimately making them even lengthier. ―More negative is the tension the MAX grounding has created for us in procedures with authorities,‖ he added. ―When it comes to safety, aviation has benefitted from a global framework, a level playing field in safety matters with a very close cooperation of the authorities, we think this is really an enabler of safety. We want this to keep going.‖ Of course, Faury wasn’t allowed off the stage in Hamburg before answering at least one question about Qantas’ Project Sunrise. ―We are competing, we think the A350-1000 is the best product in that competition,‖ he said. ―But it’s up to Alan Joyce and his team to decide, also if this whole venture is economically viable for them.‖

1 Emirates Year of Tolerance A380 breaks world record
Emirates airline made history on Friday when it set a new record for the largest number of nationalities on a single flight. The A380, with its one-off Year of Tolerance livery, took off from Dubai International Airport as part of celebrations marking this year’s UAE National Day. The plane, carrying more than 500 passengers, flew over all seven emirates at low altitude, allowing those on the ground to watch the aircraft. On board were Emirates residents from 145 different countries - a new and official Guinness World Record. ―I never knew there were so many nationalities here in the UAE but it’s been fantastic meeting so many new friends,‖ said Jean Luc Kalambay, 37, an aircraft loading supervisor from the Democratic Republic of Congo. ―I’ve been impressed with the level of diversity. It’s also my first time on board an A380 so I’ve really been looking forward to it.‖ Flight EK2019 took off from Dubai shortly after 12pm and was in the air for a little over an hour and a half. Its striking livery depicted a line of people from different backgrounds and cultures, all holding hands in a show of solidarity. Once airborne, the jet initially headed towards the coast of Umm Al Quwain, followed by Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. It then altered course to fly towards Al Ain and the coast of Abu Dhabi, before making its way to Sharjah corniche and Ajman. It later landed back in Dubai. ―The experience was pretty impressive and it was fantastic to be able to see all the emirates like that,‖ said Wing Hiyama, from Hong Kong. ―Usually when you go travelling you just want to get it over with but that was really enjoyable.‖ Her husband, Eisuke, from Japan, added: ―I didn’t know what to expect but that was truly something special." االدارة العامة للعالقات العامة والمراسم

2 UAE residents were invited to apply for a seat on the plane in the lead up to National Day, with officials hoping they could beat the then world record of 75 nationalities on board one flight. For many passengers, it was a matter of huge pride to be selected to represent their home country. ―I am here to represent my country and it’s an honour,‖ said flight attendant Charlie Amegasse, 30, from Gabon. ―The UAE is renowned for accepting everybody regardless of their background or religion and today is a prime example of that.‖ Many of those on board were wearing their national dress in order to highlight the diverse makeup of the passengers. Abdy Mammayev, 33, from Turkmenistan, was getting plenty of attention for his Turkmen headdress. ―I am really happy to be here and to be part of it all,‖ he said. His wife, Joan D’Souza, 36, from Portugal, added: ―It’s a fantastic opportunity‖. Adil Al Ghaith, senior vice president of Emirates’ commercial operations in the Gulf, Middle East and Central Asia, said the aircraft, along with its unique livery, would continue to fly its normal commercial routes. ―This very plane will continue to fly the routes associated with an A380,‖ he said. ―The Year of Tolerance logo will stay on the side of the plane as well. ―You just have to look around today at all the people from different nationalities embracing each other after meeting for the first time to see what the Year of Tolerance means.‖ Each passenger on the flight was presented with a certificate to mark being part of the successful world record attempt. On average, Emirates carries more than 50 nationalities on any given flight across its network. The airline has rolled out a host of special liveries this year with the Year of Tolerance the latest. Last week, saw the special spacecraft theme take to the skies for the first time when the A380 flew to and from Melbourne. The livery celebrates the UAE’s debut space mission, which saw Hazza Al Mansouri become the first Emirati astronaut in space. 1 Pilots revving engines too hard led to Indigo Airbus groundings New Delhi: IndiGo and Go Airlines India Ltd use the same type of engine made by Pratt & Whitney that’s susceptible to mid-flight shutdowns. Yet IndiGo, one of Airbus SE’s biggest customers, is the only one to encounter turbine failures this year, drawing heavy scrutiny from the aviation regulator. The reason could be linked to how the budget airline flies. India’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation told IndiGo’s operator, InterGlobe Aviation Ltd, that its practice of revving A320neo jets at full thrust right after take-off could wear down the engines, people familiar with the matter said. By contrast, Go Air — India’s fourth-largest carrier by market share — typically uses a so-called alt-climb approach that applies less thrust, the people said, asking not to be identified discussing a private matter. Climbing at full thrust can help planes burn less fuel, two of the people said. IndiGo has suffered 13 engine shutdowns related to low-pressure turbines during climbs this year, according to one of the people who was directly involved in an investigation where the DGCA ran a comparative analysis on how both airlines operate. The issue has been costly. The DGCA this week said every time a new plane joins IndiGo’s fleet, it must ground one A320neo that hasn’t had its engines modified. That essentially prevents Asia’s biggest budget airline by market value from adding new flights until the issue is fixed. IndiGo has 730 of the latest model on order — making it the world’s top A320neo customer — and wants to expand its network beyond cities such as Istanbul to destinations including London. InterGlobe’s shares rose 1 per cent Friday. Pratt, a unit of United Technologies Corp, invested $10 billion to develop its fuelefficient geared-turbofan engine for single-aisle jets like the A320neo, but it’s suffered repeated setbacks since its commercial introduction in 2016, including a cooling problem, durability issues and delivery delays. IndiGo shifted away from the engines in June with a $20 billion order from CFM International Inc, a joint venture between General Electric Co. and France’s Safran SA, although those deliveries have yet to take place. IndiGo still needs to replace 110 engines out of 196 that were affected, Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said Wednesday. He said Go Air hasn’t had the problems IndiGo encountered on its A320neo jets, without providing a reason. After the DGCA informed IndiGo of its findings, the company started taking steps to employ a climbing procedure similar to Go Air, the people said.
