تأخر إقالع 6رحالت دولٌة من مطار القاهرة بسبب الصٌانة واألحوال الجوٌة كتب :أحمد حمادة شهد مطار القاهرة الدولى مساء الٌوم االثنٌن تأخر إقالع 6رحالت دولٌة عن المواعٌد المقررة لها بجدول التشغٌل وذلك بسبب أعمال الصٌانة وظروف التشغٌل واألحوال الجوٌة فى مطارات الوصول. وقالت مصادر مالحٌة بمطار القاهرة أن رحالت ،الخطوط السعودٌة 316المتجهة إلى المدٌنة ،و 302المتجهة إلى جدة 324 ،المتجهة إلى الدمام ،تأخروا عن المواعٌد المقررة لهم بجدول التشؽٌل وذلك بسبب ظروؾ التشؽٌل واألحوال الجوٌة فً مطارات الوصول. واضافت المصادر أن رحلة الخطوط النمساوٌة 864المتجهة إلى النمسا ،ورحلة الخطوط نسما 140المتجهة إلى القصٌم ،ورحلة خطوط طٌران النٌل 107المتجهة إلى تبوك تأخروا عن المواعٌد المقررة لهم وذلك بسبب أعمال الصٌانة وظروؾ التشؽٌل.

اختطاف ركاب طائرة إسرائٌلٌة ..رحلة مرعبة من نٌوٌورك المسافرون على متن العال اتهموا الشركة باختطافهم والكذب علٌهم أبوظبً -سكاي نٌوز عربٌةكان ركاب طائرة إسرائٌلٌة متجهة من نٌوٌورك فً الوالٌات المتحدة إلى تل أبٌب على موعد مع حادثة اختطاؾ ؼٌر مسبوقة ،حسب ما نقلت وسائل إعالم إسرائٌلٌة ،االثنٌن. فً حوادث االختطاؾ ،وخصوصا خطؾ الطائرات ،عادة ما ٌعٌش المسافرون كابوسا إلى حٌن انتهاء الحادثة ،لكن أن ٌتسبب ركاب بهذا الكابوس أمر مثٌر لالستؽراب ،وهو ما حدث بالفعل فً رحلة الطائرة اإلسرائٌلٌة. واتهم مسافرون على متن طائرة تابعة لشركة طٌران العال اإلسرائٌلٌة ،كانوا فً طرٌقهم من نٌوٌورك إلى تل أبٌب ٌوم الخمٌس الفائت ،الطٌار وطاقمها بـ"الكذب واالختطاؾ" ،بعد تأخٌر استمر 5ساعات قبل اإلقالع من مطار جون كٌنٌدي بنٌوٌورك. وأوضح المسافرون إن قائد الرحلة " ،"002التابعة للعال ،خدعهم وكذب علٌهم ،بٌنما نفت الشركة هذا األمر واتهمت بعض المسافرٌن بإثارة العنؾ واالضطراب على متن الطائرة ،بحسب ما ذكرت صحٌفة "جٌروزلٌم بوست" اإلسرائٌلٌة بالنسخة باإلنجلٌزٌة. وكان الموعد األساسً للرحلة من مطار كٌنٌدي فً الساعة 6والنصؾ مساء الخمٌس، على أن ٌكون موعد الوصول إلى تل أبٌب مساء الجمعة ،لكن الرحلة تأخرت عن اإلقالع حوال 5ساعات ،بسبب عاصفة ثلجٌة ،وبالتالً فشل طاقم طائرة العال بالوصول فً الوقت المحدد. لكن بالنسبة إلى الٌهود المتشددٌن ،فإن هذا التأخٌر ٌعنً أنهم لن ٌصلوا إلى تل أبٌب قبل ٌوم السبت ،هو ٌوم العطلة الدٌنٌة لهم ،ما ٌعنً أنهم سٌنتهكون حرمة العطلة الدٌنٌة. وأصدرت الشركة بٌانا أولٌا قالت فٌه إن أفرادا من طائفة الحرٌدٌم تسببوا بعنؾ على الطائرة ،وزادوا أجواء التوتر والضؽط ،وهو ما أٌده بعض المسافرٌن ؼٌر المتدٌنٌن فً تعلٌقات لهم على صفحات مواقع التواصل االجتماعً. وكان المسافرون المتدٌنون بدأوا ٌطالبون قبل إقالع الطائرة بالنزول منها ألنهم أدركوا أن الرحلة ستستمر حتى ٌوم السبت ولن تصل مساء الجمعة ،وهو انتهاك لٌوم العطلة الدٌنٌة بالنسبة لهم.
2 https://www.skynewsarabia.com وبحسب المسافرٌن ،أعلن القبطان أن الطائرة ستعود إلى البوابة للسماح لمن ٌرؼب بالنزول منها ،لكنه توجه إلى المدرج وأقلع بها من دون إبالغ المسافرٌن بذلك ،مشٌرٌن إلى أنهم كانوا قد أبلؽوا عوائلهم بأنهم سٌبقون فً نٌوٌورك. وبعد اإلقالع ،أبلػ القبطان الركاب إن الطائرة فً طرٌقها إلى تل أبٌب ،لكنه أوضح أنها ستهبط أوال فً العاصمة الٌونانٌة أثٌنا بحٌث ٌمكن للمتدٌنٌن أن ٌنزلوا هناك وٌبقوا فٌها حتى مساء السبت. وقالت إحدى المسافرات إنه لم ٌكن هناك أي عنؾ ،لكن بعض المسافرٌن صرخوا بالفعل على المضٌفات ،بٌنما اتهم آخرون طاقم الطائرة بالكذب والسرقة. ؼٌر أن مسافرٌن ؼٌر متدٌنٌن ،كتبوا على وسائل التواصل االجتماعً منتقدٌن المسافرٌن المتدٌنٌن وسلوكهم ،مشٌرٌن إلى أن أحد الركاب المتدٌنٌن ضرب مضٌفة، وأنها بكت من جراء ذلك. وقالت الراكبة من نٌوٌورك ٌهودٌت روسلر" :لقد احتجزونا فً الطائرة .لم ٌكن هناك أي مكان نذهب إلٌه .وال أحد لنتكلم معه .األشخاص الذٌن ائتمناهم على حٌاتنا للسفر إلى تل أبٌب ظلوا فً قمرة القٌادة ولم ٌتكلموا إلٌنا ،وتركوا المضٌفات للتحدث معنا ..لقد اختطفونا من نٌوٌورك .قالوا لنا إننا عائدون إلى البوابة ،لكنهم أقلعوا بالطائرة بدال من ذلك". وأضافت أن بعض الركاب أبلؽوها إن مسافرٌن طرقوا باب قمرة القٌادة مطالبٌن الطٌار ومساعده بتفسٌر لما ٌحدث. وبعد ساعات من السفر الجوي ،أعلن قبطان الطائرة إنه سٌتم تحوٌلها إلى أثٌنا ،لمن ٌرؼب بالنزول من المتدٌنٌن ،وبالفعل ،هبط فً أثٌنا قرابة 150متدٌنا من الطائرة حتى ال ٌنتهكوا حرمة عطلة السبت. وقالت شركة العال إنها ستقدم شكوى بحق المسافرٌن الذٌن تسببوا بالعنؾ للشرطة، وأضافت "نحن ننظر بجدٌة للسلوك العنٌؾ الذي تسبب به بعض المسافرٌن".

مطار "رفٌق الحرٌري" ٌمنع طائرات إٌرانٌة من التزود بالوقود فً مطار بٌروت ً تنفٌذا للعقوبات األمرٌكٌة امتنعت شركات وقود فً مطار رفٌق الحرٌري ببٌروت عن تزوٌد الطائرات اإلٌرانٌة بالوقود ،وذلك على خلفٌة العقوبات األمرٌكٌة المفروضة على طهران. وحسب موقع قناة "الحرة" األمرٌكٌة ،كانت تقارٌر صحافٌة قد أشارت إلى أن السلطات اللبنانٌة رفضت تزوٌد الطائرات اإلٌرانٌة بالوقود ،لكن تأكد أن شركات وقود عالمٌة هً من امتنع عن تزوٌد الطائرات اإلٌرانٌة. وأوضحت مراسلة "الحرة" فً بٌروت األحد ،أن خطوط طٌران سورٌة وشركة طٌران روسٌة خاصة كذلك منعت من التزود بالوقود. وٌأتً ذلك على خلفٌة العقوبات األمرٌكٌة المفروضة على طهران والتً شملت خطوط طٌران إٌرانٌة مثل "ماهان" و"معراج". وأعلن الرئٌس دونالد ترامب فً ماٌو الماضً انسحاب الوالٌات المتحدة من االتفاق النووي مع إٌران وإعادة فرض العقوبات االقتصادٌة على طهران. وكثؾ ترامب بشدة الضؽوط على طهران عبر فرض عدة حزم من العقوبات األمرٌكٌة. وتعد الحزمة األخٌرة من العقوبات التً فرضت مطلع الشهر الجاري ،األقسى حتى اآلن وتهدؾ إلى خفض صادرات النفط اإلٌرانٌة بشكل كبٌر وحرمان مصارؾ إٌران من الوصول إلى األسواق المالٌة الدولٌة.

Importantly, the Bill also provides for the director general of the CAA to recall an aircraft in flight, if serious security and safety issues are identified, or the aircraft is being used in contravention of the Act or it contains any matter that may be used as evidence in respect to an offence under the Act. The current law requires that the Civil Aviation Authority to first seek permission, in writing, from an aircraft operator and await a response before it inspects an aircraft. The Civil Aviation Authority (Amendment) Act 2017, intends to harmonise the domestic laws with the International Civil Aviation Convention. It is in response to a 2014 audit by the international body that rated Uganda at 61.6 per cent compliance with international standards. The low rating was attributed to weak regulations that compromised security and safety of civil aviation operations at all levels. The Bill is currently before the Parliamentary Infrastructure Committee. A draft report from the committee shows that the director general will have their powers expanded to include issuing of certification of aircraft, certificate of air worthiness, certification of air navigation service provider and maintenance of quality services and standards in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements. Although Uganda’s airports have been in operation for decades, the Civil Aviation Authority had not established an accident investigation unit; the amended draft report proposes a unit within the Ministry of Works and Transport that will handle accident investigations. Experts argue that an authority will be unrealistic because of the low level of traffic at Entebbe International Airport. Entebbe is Uganda’s only international airport, although plans to build more are underway. A new international airport is being developed in Hoima in western Uganda to service oil production activity in the Albertine Grabben area, which could significantly increase the number of aircraft using Ugandan airspace. Uganda handles 1.62 million passengers a year, which is low compare with Kenya, which does six million or even Singapore, which established an airports authority only after it attained a 70 million passenger mark.

CFM seals dual $1 Bn Middle East LEAP deals Gulf Air and CFM International have signed a long-term agreement for the maintenance of the airline’s LEAP-1A engines, in a deal valued at just over US$1 billion at list price, with CFM also announcing a further $1 billion LEAP-1A deal with SaudiGulf Airlines. Under the terms of the 10-year Rate per Flight Hour agreement for Gulf Air, covering a total of 65 LEAP-1A engines the airline ordered last year, CFM will provide maintenance support for its fleet on a dollar per flight hour basis. The Bahrain flag carrier has been a CFM customer since 1992 and currently operates a fleet of 16 Airbus A320ceo aircraft powered by CFM56-5B engines. It began commercial operations using the A320neo powered by LEAP-1A engines in August this year. “We are excited to expand our long-term partnership with CFM, which has been a key partner in our development for more than 25 years,” said Krešimir Kucko, CEO of Gulf Air. Pakistan International Airlines resumes flights to Muscat, Sharjah Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is resuming flights to Muscat and Sharjah after suspending the routes for more than a year. PIA said it would be flying twice a week from Pakistan’s second most populated city, Lahore, to the Omani capital. It inaugurated the service, operated by an Airbus A320, on November 17. Flights from Lahore to Muscat will take place on Saturdays and Sundays with the return service on Saturdays and Mondays. “With the introduction of these flights, PIA will have nine flights to Muscat from Peshawar, Turbat and Gwadar, besides Lahore,” said PIA president and CEO Arshad Malik. The Sialkot-Sharjah route will resume on November 20 with flights every Tuesday and Friday. Combined with the existing flights from Turbat, this will bring PIA’s weekly flights to Sharjah to five. Malik said the government was supporting the carrier as it pursued an aggressive strategy to reverse its fortunes.

Gulf Air Signs Sale Leaseback with SMBC Aviation Capital for 6 A320neos Gulf Air, Bahrain’s national carrier, and SMBC Aviation Capital announced an agreement for the purchase and leaseback of six Airbus A320neo aircraft. This is SMBC Aviation Capital’s first deal with Gulf Air and follows a competitive tender process. The announcement was made at the Bahrain International Airshow. Delivery of Gulf Air’s Airbus A320neo aircraft commenced from August 2018. The airline currently serves all its destinations with a combination of wide and narrow body fleet. It has orders for 39 new Boeing and Airbus aircraft with delivery having commenced in early 2018. Gulf Air’s incoming fleet will see by end-2018 the arrival of five Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners in addition to one Airbus A320neo aircraft. Alongside this, in 2018 the airline continued to enhance its product and service offering, launched six new destinations and expanded its network to serve 47 cities in 26 countries. Norwegian Air cutting frequency of Stewart flights STEWART AIRPORT – Norwegian Air will cut the number of flights to Europe from New York Stewart International Airport down to 11 a week in January, the fewest the budget carrier has offered since its heralded arrival at the airport 17 months ago. The changes reflect not only the usual adjustments for the slow winter season but also Norwegian’s pledge to shareholders to trim costs to counter the high fuel prices that are squeezing the industry and tanking earnings. “As a cost-disciplined company, we continuously monitor and evaluate our route network, and these changes have been made as part of our commitment to reducing costs,″ said Anders Lindstrom, a Norwegian spokesman, in a statement. Flights to Dublin, Ireland, the most popular of Norwegian’s destinations, will drop to once a day from twice a day on Jan. 12. The second flight, added in April, will resume March 31. And daily flights to Shannon, Ireland, will cease altogether Jan. 12 and resume at the rate of five a week March 31. Norwegian, which had increased its Shannon schedule to three flights a week from two in April, increased it again to daily in October. Lindstrom said affected customers have already been informed and offered full refunds or rebooking options. The Port Authority called the changes at its smallest airport “typical of winter recalibrations of service schedules.” “We look forward,” the Port Authority’s statement continued, “to coordinating with Norwegian to optimize their schedules and accommodate their plans for additional growth in 2019.″ “I’m very disappointed but I’m counting on the changes not being a precursor to more in the future,″ said Louis Heimbach, chairman of the Stewart Airport Commission.

The schedule, at its height, was 27 flights a week. Flights to Belfast, Ireland, and Bergen, Norway, ended in October – but service to Bergen, a seasonal destination, will start again in the summer. Flights to Edinburgh, reduced to four flights a week from daily earlier this year, are scheduled to end altogether in March as part of previously announced Norwegian cuts to its service between Scotland and the United States and Europe. The carrier began scaling back when the Scottish government decided to postpone a promised 50 percent reduction in air passenger taxes. Lindstrom stressed that Norwegian remains committed to Stewart and that changes in service are being made throughout its network. The carrier’s executives, in visits to Stewart, have talked repeatedly about adding new destinations in 2019 and beyond as Boeing continues delivery of new aircraft. As Stewart’s first international carrier, Norwegian has been wildly successful, using Short Line’s Stewart Airport Express to connect as many as 40 percent of its passengers to New York City – and proving the Port Authority’s contention that its smallest airport could effectively serve the metropolitan region. Huntley Lawrence, the Port Authority’s aviation director, has called Norwegian’s success “critical” to showing that this concept for growing Stewart is viable.

The first six months of Norwegian flights gave Stewart its best passenger count – 448,323 – in eight years last year. The Port Authority is projecting its volume will top 600,000 this year, most of it attributable to Norwegian. The turnaround prompted the Port Authority to finally release funds for the long-planned construction of an addition to the terminal to house a dedicated U.S. Customs processing center for international passengers. Bids for the estimated $30 million project are being reviewed now. And to ensure that international travelers knew where it is, the Port Authority also pulled the trigger on its controversial proposal to “rebrand” the airport. It ultimately bowed to family and community sentiment, however, and kept Stewart in the name.
