مطار مرسى علم ٌستقبل الٌوم 9رحالت استثنائٌة تقل مواطنٌن عالقٌن بعدة دول ٌستعد مطار مرسً علم الدولً ،الٌوم الخمٌس ،الستقبال 9رحالت طٌران استثنائٌة،قادمة من دول مختلفة تقل علً متنها عدد من المصرٌٌن العالقٌن بهذه الدول ،تنفٌذا لتعلٌمات الرئٌس عبد الفتاح السٌسً رئٌس الجمهورٌة بعودة المصرٌٌن العالقٌن بالخارج . وحسب جدول الرحالت االستثنائٌة التً أعلنت عنه الشركة الوطنٌة مصر للطٌران ،من المقرر أن تصل الٌوم رحلة قادمة من واشنطن ،وأخري من الدار البٌضاء ،عالوة على رحالت من أمستردام ،وموسكو ،والبحرٌن ،وبومباي ،وحوانزو . وكذلك من المقرر أن تصل 3رحالت أخرى قادمة من مطارات جزر المالدٌف ، والجزائر ،وبرشلونة ،حٌث تصل تلك الرحالت لمطار مرسً علم ،لنقل العالقٌن فور الوصول عقب اإلجراءات الصحٌة المتبعة لمحل إقامتهم داخل الفنادق المختلفة بمرسً علم كحجر صحً لمدة ٌ 14وما.
وكانت قد وصلت مساء أمس لمطار مرسى علم الدولى ،إحدى رحالت الشركة الوطنٌة مصر للطٌران ،كرحلة استثنائٌة قادمة من العاصمة السعودٌة الرٌاض ،تقل على متنها 295مصرٌا عالقا هناك فى ظل تعلٌق رحالت الطٌران من المطارات بسبب فٌروس . المستجد كورونا االدارة العامة للعالقات العامة والمراسم تابع

وتعد الرحلة هى الثانٌة ضمن رحالت الجسر الجوى التى أقرتها الحكومة المصرٌة بتنسٌق بٌن وزارات الخارجٌة والطٌران والهجرة ،حٌث وصلت أمس أولى الرحالت القادمة من مطار بٌروت وعلى متنها 72راكبا عالقٌن فى لبنان، ومن المنتظر أن ٌتم تسٌٌر 22رحلة لعودة العالقٌن المصرٌن فى عدة دول أجنبٌة وعربٌة وأفرٌقٌة. وكانت أعلت وزارة الطٌران المدنى ،عن تسٌرها نحو 22رحلة طٌران استثنائٌة لعودة المصرٌٌن العالقٌن بالخارج ،حتى نهاٌة ابرٌل بالتنسٌق مع وزارتى الهجرة والخارجٌة ،فى ظل تعلٌق حركة الطٌران إلى المطارات المصرٌة ،منذ منتصف مارس الماضى ،بسبب فٌروس كورونا المستجد.

الٌوم 6 ..رحالت استثنائٌة إلعادة المصرٌٌن العالقٌن بالخارج كتبت/آمال رسالن من المقرر أن تقوم شركتا "مصر للطٌران" وشركة "إٌر كاٌرو" ،الٌوم الخمٌس، بتسٌر 6رحالت استثنائٌة ضمن خطة الحكومة المصرٌة إلعادة المصرٌٌن العالقٌن بالخارج إثر غلق المطارات المصرٌة فً 19مارس الماضً ضمن جهود الحكومة لمكافحة فٌروس كورونا المستجد (كوفٌد .)19- وٌأتً ذلك فً إطار توجٌهات الرئٌس المصري ،عبدالفتاح السٌسً ،بضرورة العمل على إعادة المصرٌٌن العالقٌن بمختلف دول العالم ،بالتنسٌق مع وزارات "الخارجٌة والهجرة والسٌاحة".
ومن المقرر أن تسٌر شركة مصر للطٌران 3رحالت من مطار القاهرة الدولً إلى الدار البٌضاء وأمستردام والمنامة ،فٌما تسٌر شركة إٌر كاٌرو 3رحالت إلى فرانكفورت والجزائر وبرشلونة .وتهبط جمٌع الرحالت فً مطار مرسى علم ،حٌث ٌخضع الركاب إلى العزل الطبً لمدة ٌ 14وما للتأكد من خلوهم من فٌروس كورونا. وقبل أٌام،

أعلنت وزارة الدولة للهجرة وشؤون المصرٌٌن فً الخارج ،أنه سٌتم اإلعالن خالل األٌام المقبلة عن القواعد والجداول الخاصة بإعادة المصرٌٌن العالقٌن بالخارج من خالل السفارات المصرٌة ،موضحة أن عدد العالقٌن ٌصل لحوالً 3378عالقا مصرٌا بالخارج. وأشارت إلى أنه ٌتم التعرف على العالقٌن من خالل تأشٌرة الخروج الخاصة بهم، مؤكدة أنه تم اإلعالن خالل األٌام الماضٌة عن القواعد والجداول الخاصة بإعادتهم، وطرق ونظام إعادتهم من خالل السفارات المصرٌة. وكانت سلطة الطٌران المدنً ،قد أعلنت توقف حركة الطٌران المدنً بمصر ،سواء القادم أو المغادر من المطارات المصرٌة منذ 19مارس الماضً ،واستثنى الخطاب 5 حاالت من التعلٌق ،منها رحالت الشحن الجوي ،ورحالت الشارتر لتتمكن من عودة األفواج السٌاحٌة بعد انتهاء برامجهم دون استقدام أفواج جدٌدة ،ورحالت اإلسعاف الدولٌة ،إضافة إلى الرحالت الداخلٌة.

أكبر شركة طٌران أمٌركٌة تتكبد أول خسارة فصلٌة فً 5سنوات طٌران دلتا تسجل خسائر فصلٌة بـ 534ملٌون دوالر سجلت شركة DELTA AIRLINEوهً أكبر شركة طٌران وأكثرها ربحٌة فً الوالٌات المتحدة ،خسائر فصلٌة بقٌمة 534ملٌون دوالر. وحذرت الشركة من أن نتائجها للربع الحالً قد تكون أسوأ حٌث من المتوقع أن تتراجع إٌراداتها لهذا الربع بنسبة %90مقارنة بنفس الفترة من العام الماضً. وتعتبر هذه الخسائر األولى للشركة منذ 5أعوام ،حٌث من المتوقع أن تحصل الشركة على حزمة مساعدات حكومٌة بقٌمة 5.4ملٌار دوالر لمواجهة تداعٌات أزمة كورونا. وٌأتً قطاع الطٌران العالمً ،كأول وأكبر الخاسرٌن فً المرحلة الحالٌة من تداعٌات تفشً فٌروس كورونا.

عودة رحالت مصر للطٌران 16ماٌو مبدئٌا كتبت رٌم مصطفً أعلنت شركة مصر للطٌران عن فتح الحجز لرحالتها بشكل مبدائً تحسبا لعودة الطٌران على ٌوم 16ماٌو وفًِ حال عدم العودة سٌتم إلغاء الحجز وتعدٌله بالمواعٌد الجدٌدة. عودة رحالت مصر للطٌران أوضح شركة مصر للطٌران عن بدأ رحالتها من السبت 16ماٌو مبدائٌا بعد توقفها نظرا للظروف التى تمر بها البالد نتٌجة فٌروس كورونا المستجد وتعطٌل رحالتها.

رحالت "طٌران اإلمارات" المنتظمة متاحة للحجز فً هذا التارٌخ أظهرت بٌانات الموقع الشبكً لشركة "طٌران اإلمارات" أن الرحالت المنتظمة للناقلة متاحة للحجز إلى أغلبٌة الوجهات ضمن شبكتها العالمٌة ،اعتبارا من األول من ٌولٌو المقبل. وبحسب البٌانات التً اطلعت "اإلمارات الٌوم" ،على نسخة منها ،فإن هذه الرحالت المنتظمة المتاحة للحجز فً االتجاهٌن ،ال تشمل الرحالت الخاصة التً أعلنت عنها الناقلة سابقا وتشغلها حالٌا إلى بعض الوجهات ،فً إطار تسهٌل سفر الزوار والمقٌمٌن الراغبٌن فً العودة إلى بلدانهم ومساعدة المواطنٌن للعودة إلى اإلمارات. وقال متحدث باسم شركة "طٌران اإلمارات" ،إن بعض الرحالت فقط متاحة للحجز، لكن الوضع الٌزال دٌنامٌكٌا وقد تتغٌر الرحالت المجدولة والمتاحة للحجز خالل الفترة المقبلة بناء على التطورات.
وأضاف المتحدث" :نحن نهدف إلى تزوٌد متعاملٌنا بأكبر قدر ممكن من المعلومات فً حالة حدوث أي تغٌٌرات". وذكر أن "(طٌران اإلمارات) تواصل مراقبة تأثٌرات الوباء عن كثب ،مع مراعاة استئناف الخدمات حالما تسمح الظروف بذلك ،وٌشمل ذلك الحصول على الموافقات تابع

خصومات "خٌالٌة" للمسافرٌن وثمن تذكرة السفر بسعر "الملفوف".. شركات الطٌران فً الصٌن تسعى لجذب المسافرٌن بكل الطرق فً ظل فٌروس كورونا ماذا فعل فٌروس كورونا بمنطقة السٌاحة الصٌنٌة ماكاو؟ أزهار الكرز فً ووهان الصٌنٌة تستعد إلنهاء اإلغالق بسبب فٌروس كورونا ٌُعرض حالٌا بعد أشهر من اإلغالق بسبب كورونا ..الحٌاة تعود إلى شوارع الصٌن ووجهاتها الشهٌرة دبً ،اإلمارات العربٌة المتحدة ( CNN) --من توفٌر تذاكر الطٌران بسعر شراء الخضار إلى خصومات على حجوزات المقاعد المتعددة ،تطرح شركات الطٌران الصٌنٌة سلسلة من الصفقات الجذابة الستقطاب المسافرٌن خالل الفترة التً تسبق عٌد العمال ،وهً أول عطلة رئٌسٌة منذ أن وصلت الصٌن إلى طرٌق مسدود بسبب فٌروس كورونا المستجد. وبعد تسجٌلها خسارة قدرها 39.8ملٌار رنمٌنبً ،أي 5.6ملٌار دوالر ،فً الربع األول من عام ، 2020وفقا إلدارة الطٌران المدنً فً الصٌن ،تتخذ صناعة الطٌران فً البالد خطواتها األولى نحو التعافً وسط تخفٌف إجراءات اإلغالق. استئناف المسارات القدٌمة وإضافة رحالت جدٌدة وقال محلل بشركة خدمات بٌانات الطٌران "" ،VariFlightومقرها الصٌن ،لـ CNN إنه "مع سٌاسة الحكومة الستئناف العمل وفتح المصانع ،تستأنف الرحالت الداخلٌة عمالها ببطء ،وٌبدأ سوق الطٌران المدنً الصٌنً فً االستعداد لإلنطالق من جدٌد". ومن ناحٌة أخرى ،نظرا النتشار "كوفٌد "19-على نطاق واسع حول العالم ،باإلضافة تابع

إلى القٌود المفروضة على الطٌران الدولً ،فقد ٌتطلب تعافً الرحالت الدولٌة مزٌدا من الوقت. وبحسب بٌانات "" ،VariFlightتراجعت عملٌات شركات الطٌران فً بر الصٌن الرئٌسً بأكثر من % 80بٌن نهاٌة ٌناٌر/كانون الثانً وفبراٌر/شباط. قد ٌهمك أٌضا كٌف سٌتغٌر قطاع السٌاحة والسفر بعد فٌروس كورونا؟ وبدأت الرحالت الداخلٌة فً االنتعاش خالل منتصف شهر فبراٌر/شباط ،واعتبارا من هذا األسبوع ارتفعت إلى ما ٌعادل نصف مستوٌات الوضع ما قبل فٌروس كورونا. وكإشارة أخرى على انتعاش قطاع الطٌران ،تضٌف شركات الطٌران اإلقلٌمٌة ،ومن بٌنها خطوط هاٌنان الجوٌة رحالت محلٌة جدٌدة لفصلً الصٌف والخرٌف تحسبا لطلب المسافرٌن. سعر "البوك تشوي" وقسٌمة "الصندوق السحري" وفً الوقت الحالً ،تركز شركات الطٌران على عطلة عٌد العمال القادمة ،والتً تبدأ من األول وحتى 5ماٌو/نٌسان. وعرضت بعض شركات الطٌران صفقات "جامحة" على الرحالت المحلٌة لجذب المسافرٌن ،وأطلق علٌها اإلعالم المحلً اسم تذاكر بسعر "البوك تشوي" ،أي الملفوف الصٌنً ،إذ أنها رخٌصة التكلفة ،كأسعار شراء الخضار. وعلى سبٌل المثالٌ ،قدم فرع سنجان التابع لخطوط جنوب الصٌن الجوٌة مسارا ٍ ت متعددة بأسعار تتراوح من %10إلى %20فقط من أسعارها األصلٌة. وٌشٌر البحث عبر منصة "" ،Fliggyالتً تعد إحدى أهم منصات حجز السفر عبر اإلنترنت فً الصٌن ،إلى أن التذكرة من بكٌن إلى مدٌنة ٌانتاى فً شاندونغ ،على بعد حوالً 700كٌلومتر ،تبلغ كلفتها خالل شهر ٌونٌو/حزٌران 11دوالرا أمرٌكٌا، تابع

أي بخصم حوالً %90من سعرها المعتاد. وأطلقت خطوط شاندونغ الجوٌة حملة فً أبرٌل/نٌسان وباعت خاللها 20ألف قسٌمة تطلق علٌها اسم قسٌمة "الصندوق السحري" ،مقابل ٌ 199وان أي 28دوالرا. وعلى عكس القسٌمة العادٌة ،ال ٌمكن فتح هذه "الصنادٌق السحرٌة" إال فً فترتٌن محددتٌن خالل الربع الرابع من هذا العام ،وٌمكن استبدالها بأي تذاكر محلٌة مهما كانت تكلفتها. وعلى الرغم من بداٌة انتعاش قطاع الطٌران ،إال أنه سٌكون لجائحة فٌروس كورونا تأثٌر دائم على كٌفٌة توفٌر شركات الطٌران للمقاعد ،إذ تحاول شركات الطٌران توفٌر الطمأنٌنة والراحة للمسافرٌن. وعلى سبٌل المثال ،تقدم شركة طٌران "الصٌن اكسبرس" خٌارات المقاعد المتعددة للركاب منذ فبراٌر/شباط .ومع هذه الصفقاتٌ ،توفر للعمالء 6مقاعد فارغة بسعر مقعد واحد من الدرجة االقتصادٌة ،لضمان قدرتهم على الحفاظ على مسافة آمنة مع الركاب اآلخرٌن. وٌشمل سعر التذكرة تأمٌنا خاصا بفٌروس كورونا باإلضافة إلى حزمة من المستلزمات لمكافحة الفٌروسات تشمل أقنعة الوجه والمنادٌل المضادة للبكتٌرٌا.

مطارات دبً :إعفاءات تصل لـ %100لشركاء الطٌران واألعمال أعلنت مؤسسة مطارات دبً ،برنامجها للتعامل مع جائحة كورونا ،والذي ٌنطبق على الفترة المتأثرة من مطلع مارس حتى 31ماٌو ٌ 2020شمل التنازل عن %100من الحد األدنى من الضمانات أو الرسوم المعادلة للشركاء الذٌن ُطلب منهم وقف النشاط أو التداول بسبب تعلٌق عملٌات المطار نتٌجة للوباء العالمً كورونا المستجد (كوفٌد .)19 وأكدت مطارات دبً فً بٌان صحافً الٌوم األربعاء ،أنها تعمل بشكل وثٌق مع شركائها فً مجال الطٌران واألعمال وتخطط إلعادة التعبئة التدرٌجٌة بمجرد رفع قٌود السفر المتعلقة بالجائحة ،ضمن إطار استقرار األعمال ،حٌث تم تزوٌد شركاء الطٌران والمستأجرٌن وأصحاب االمتٌاز بتفاصٌل برنامج المساعدة الذي وافقت علٌه مطارات دبً.
وأضافت المؤسسة أنها استجابت بشكل حاسم ألزمة كوفٌد 19 -وهً من بٌن أولى شركات تشغٌل المطارات التً تقترح مساعدة جادة لشركات الطٌران والشركاء التجارٌٌن. تابع

وبالنسبة للشركاء الذٌن حافظوا على عملٌات جزئٌةٌ ،جري اتخاذ تدابٌر أخرى لمعالجة انخفاض نشاط الطٌران ،بما فً ذلك إعادة الجدولة والتعدٌالت المالٌة األخرى. وقال النائب األول للرئٌس التنفٌذي للشؤون التجارٌة فً مؤسسة مطارات دبًٌ :وجٌن باري إن "المرونة أصبحت أكثر أهمٌة اآلن من أي وقت مضى". ٌذكر أن السلطات اإلماراتٌة قامت بتارٌخ 24مارس 2020بتعلٌق رحالت المسافرٌن فً مطار دبً الدولً ومطار آل مكتوم الدولً ،باستثناء رحالت العودة إلى اإلمارات، وسٌبقى التعلٌق سارٌا حتى إشعار آخر مع استثناء عملٌات الشحن.

تداعٌات كارثٌة لكورونا على الطٌران ..وأوروبا تدفع الثمن االنخفاض األكبر فً عدد الركاب فً أوروبا وكاالت -أبوظبٌأعلنت منظمة الطٌران المدنً الدولً (إٌكاو) ،األربعاء ،أنّ التداعٌات الكارثٌة لجائحة كوفٌد 19-على قطاع النقل الجوي قد تؤدّ ي ،بحلول سبتمبر المقبل، إلى خفض أعداد المسافرٌن على متن الرحالت الجوٌة الدولٌة بمقدار 1.2ملٌار راكب بالمقارنة مع عددهم فً األحوال العادٌة.

حركة النقل الجوي فً الصٌن تواصل التعافً أعلنت السلطات الصٌنٌة الٌوم األربعاء أن حركة النقل الجوي فً الصٌن تواصل التعافً فً ظل تالشى حدة تفشً فٌروس كورونا فً البالد ورفع قٌود النقل فً بعض المدن. ووفقا لما نقلته وكالة أنباء الصٌن الجدٌدة(شٌنخوا) عن مصلحة الطٌران المدنً الصٌنٌة فإن الحركة الجوٌة شهدت تعافٌا فً نٌسان/أبرٌل .وحتى ٌوم أمس ،ارتفعت أعداد الركاب إلى 4ر 494ألفا ٌومٌا بزٌادة %7.9عن مارس ،ولكنها نحو ثلث نفس الفترة من العام الماضً.

EgyptAir, Air Cairo to operate special flights on Thursday to repatriate Egyptians stranded abroad Egyptair will operate flights to Washington, Guangzhou, Bahrain, Mumbai, Casablanca, Amsterdam and Moscow, while Air Cairo will operate flights to Frankfurt and the Maldives EgyptAir and Air Cairo will operate on Thursday nine special flights from international destinations, including the US, to repatriate Egyptians stranded abroad due to the coronavirus pandemic.

EgyptAir and Air Cairo will fly back to the Red Sea‟s Marsa Alam, a resort selected by authorities for the 14day hotel quarantine for repatriated Egyptians. The government is requiring returnees to sign before boarding their flights a written acknowledgement that they agree to be quarantined. Egypt began repatriating its citizens since March as part of efforts to bring back hundreds of its nationals stranded in various countries owing to the pandemic. The country is keeping its airspace open to inbound charter and special flights to transport outbound passengers, and to cargo and domestic flights, during a temporary suspension of air traffic since mid-March. The number of Egyptians stranded abroad due to the coronavirus crisis reached 3,378, according to a statement by Minister of Information Osama Heikal earlier this month.

Sri Lankan Airlines To Operate 3 Indian Repatriation Flights bySyd Sharma Sri Lankan Airlines will operate three repatriation flights from two Indian cities to bring back stranded citizens. One flight from Amritsar and two from Coimbatore will depart for Colombo on Thursday and Friday, respectively. These flights come as more countries begin repatriation efforts from India, which has banned all international flights indefinitely. Sri Lankan will fly three repatriation flights from India as a part of a global repatriation effort by the airline.

British AirwaysThe main reason for so many repatriation flights is India‟s flight ban and the high number of foreigners in India. India imposed a one week ban on international flights on 22nd March and has since then extended this ban. India is also home to millions of foreigners from dozens of countries, complicating efforts and resulting in hundreds of flights. It is to be noted that India has not yet set out plans to repatriate its own citizens. The Indian diaspora is the largest in the world, with millions of citizens and many wanting to return home. India did quickly evacuate citizens from the virus hotspots of Wuhan, Milan, and Tehran, but since the situation has worsened in India, the country has refrained from more of these flights. Sri Lanka‟s repatriation efforts will provide relief to the thousands of citizens stranded in India. The one flight from Amritsar and two from Coimbatore will operate today and tomorrow respectively and those aboard these flights can expect extensive medical screening, and possible quarantine, once on the ground in Colombo. Since the lockdown, nearly 40,000 people have been flown back from India on various repatriation flights. The

Before the current aviation crisis, RwandAir made a big splash on the international scene with a variety of wellthought-out international routes. The carrier began by launching new routes to Mumbai, Tel Aviv, and Kinshasa. It even had aspirations for a direct route to the US. But first, it would need to secure a very lucrative destination.

China is Rwanda‟s largest exporting partner, making up 21.24% of its total export share value in 2016. The China route was launched back in June 2019 and has been a big success for the airline. Instead of flying direct (which would be difficult to accomplish in the best of times) RwandAir facilitated a fifth freedom route from its Mumbai destination. The route travels a total of 5,860mi,3,233mi between KGLBOM, 2,617mi between BOM-CAN. This includes one Airbus A330-300 and one Airbus A330-300 (and two A330900s on order). There are also six Boeing 737 variants (and two Boeing 737 MAX 8s on order) and four regional aircraft. This fifth freedom route will be operated by the A330 fleet. However, this would all come crashing down during the current aviation crisis with the carrier pausing all passenger routes in February. Rwandair has decided to somewhat resume its very lucrative fifth freedom route between Kigal-MumbaiGuangzhou. However, the operation of this route will not be like its London and Brussels cargo flights as it won‟t

have a regular schedule. The service will only run when there is a special cargo charter between the two countries.
“The cargo flights to Guangzhou are not a complete reinstatement, it will operate as an ad-hoc cargo flight that will be coming in on demand. RwandAir is here to support the economy, there many exporters who currently need to export their goods to Europe and China, and this flight comes in to fill the existing demand,” said Jimmy Musoni, the airline‟s director of global sales and operations, to The East African. Latvia's airBaltic hopes to accelerate A220 deliveries Not only does airBaltic (BT, Riga) not plan to defer or cancel its outstanding A220-300 orders, it is even hoping to accelerate their deliveries, Chief Executive Martin Gauss told Bloomberg. "I always said that come the next crisis we wouldn't be left with an aircraft that was too big. Would you rather have 145 seats like the A220 or 186 on a larger narrowbody? The answer is obvious," he said. The Latvian airline operates twenty-two A220-300s and has a further 28 on firm order from Airbus, deliveries of which will run through 2025. This year alone, it is expecting another four to arrive although Gauss confirmed that the shut-down of Airbus Canada's site at Montréal Mirabel is likely to cause some delays. airBaltic will emerge from the COVID-19 crisis as an A220-only operator having already confirmed it will retire its remaining B737-300s and Dash 8-400s ahead of its restart, tentatively scheduled for May 15. Gauss has previously suggested that airBaltic will use the A220s to expand its network beyond the Baltic states, likely in Scandinavia.

Qatar Airways Group: Operational Update In recent weeks Qatar Airways has carried over one million people home plus transported over 70,000 tons of medical equipment and aid relief, ensuring it is a reliable partner for passengers, governments, travel trade and freight companies in extremely challenging circumstances. The COVID-19 pandemic has created an unprecedented challenge for Qatar Airways and the aviation industry as a whole. While the airline continues to maintain operations where possible to take people home and to transport essential supplies, overall demand for air transport has declined significantly. Passenger Operations Since mid-February, Qatar Airways has helped reunite over one million passengers with their loved ones, operating a mix of scheduled and charter services plus extra sectors. Cargo Operations With global air freight capacity declining, Qatar Airways Cargo has increased operations to ensure the continuity of global trade and movement of essential medical and aid supplies. Staff Solidarity Program The airline has been working diligently to reduce or defer costs where possible. All the airline‟s onboard linen and blankets are washed, dried and pressed at microbial lethal temperatures, while its headsets are removed of ear foams and rigorously sanitized after each flight. These items are then sealed into individual packaging by staff wearing hygienic disposable gloves. All meal service utensils and cutlery are washed with detergents and rinsed with demineralized fresh water at temperatures that kill pathogenic bacteria. Emirates steps up safety measures for customers and employees at the airport and on board Emirates is stepping up precautionary measures at the airport and on board to ensure the health and safety of its employees and customers. All cabin crew, boarding agents and ground staff in direct contact with passengers will now don personal protective equipment (PPE) which includes a protective disposable gown over their uniforms, and a safety visor, in addition to masks and gloves. At Dubai International airport, gloves and masks are mandatory for all customers and employees. Thermal scanners monitor the temperatures of all passengers and employees stepping into the airport. Physical distancing indicators have been placed on the ground and at waiting areas to help travellers maintain the necessary distance during check-in and boarding. The airport team has also installed protective barriers at each check-in desk to provide additional safety reassurance to passengers and employees during interaction over the counter. On board Emirates‟ flights, seats are pre-allocated with and disinfection processes in Dubai, after each journey.
