«مصر للطٌران» 12 :رحلة إضافٌة لنقل الجماهٌر لروسٌا أسبوعٌا قال صفوت مسلم ،رئٌس مجلس إدارة الشركة القابضة لمصر للطٌران، إنه تم تشغٌل 12رحلة إضافٌة بخالف الـ 3رحالت المنتظمة أسبوعٌا، لنقل الجماهٌر إلى روسٌا لمؤازرة المنتخب الوطنى فى مبارٌات كأس العالم. وأضاف «مسلم» ،فى تصرٌحات صحفٌة ،أنه سٌتم تشغٌل رحالت خاصة ودراسة تكثٌف الرحالت فى فترة كأس العالم فى حال زٌادة الطلب من جانب المشجعٌن المصرٌٌن الراغبٌن بمؤازرة المنتخب فى هذا المحفل الرٌاضى الدولى ،كون «مصر للطٌران» الناقل الرسمى للمشجع المصرىٌ .ذكر أن الشركة حصلت على عقد رعاٌة المنتخب الوطنى لمدة 5سنوات ،تزامنا مع عودة خط «القاهرة -موسكو» والذى انطلقت أولى رحالتها لمطار «دومودٌدوفو» بالعاصمة الروسٌة موسكو ،فى 12إبرٌل الماضى ،بواقع 3رحالت أسبوعٌا.

مصر للطٌران تسٌٌر 15رحلة لنقل 2438معتمر إلى جدة والمدٌنة المنورة كتب :أحمد حمادة تواصل شركة مصر للطٌران ،تسٌٌر جسرها الجوى لنقل المعتمرٌن إلى المدٌنة المنورة وجدة ،حٌث من المقرر أن تقلع الٌوم الثالثاء 15 رحلة إلى األراضى المقدسة . وقالت مصادر بمطار القاهرة الدولى ،فى تصرٌحات صحفٌة الٌوم السبت، إنه من المقرر أن تقلع الٌوم 15رحلة إلى مطاري جدة والمدٌنة المنورة، لنقل 2438معتمرا ،وذلك بواقع 10رحالت لمطار جدة و 5رحالت للمدٌنة المنورة. كان صفوت مسلم ،رئٌس الشركة القابضة لمصر للطٌران ،أعلن أن الشركة ستنقل ما ٌقرب من 45ألف معتمر خالل عمرة شهر رمضان إلى كل من جدة والمدٌنة المنورة ،على أن تستمر الرحالت حتى ٌ 3ونٌو، وتبدأ أولى رحالت العودة فى ٌ 12ونٌو وتنتهى فى ٌ 30ونٌو المقبل.

مصر للطٌران :نقلنا 25ألف معتمر على متن 250رحلة كتب :مؤمن التهامً قالت مصادر بالشركة الوطنٌة مصر للطٌران ،إن الشركة تمكنت من نقل 25ألف معتمر إلى مطاري جدة والمدٌنة المنورة على متن 250رحلة جوٌة منذ انطالق رحالت عمرة شهر رمضان. وتواصل الشركة الوطنٌة مصر للطٌران مد جسرها الجوي لنقل معتمري شهر رمضان حتى ٌ 3ونٌو المقبل ،حٌث تستهدف الشركة نقل 45ألف معتمر إلى جدة والمدٌنة المنورة على متن 450رحلة جوٌة. ومن المقرر أن ٌبدأ موسم العودة من السعودٌة ٌ 12ونٌو المقبل وحتى 30 ٌونٌو ،بواقع 25رحلة ٌومٌة إلى مطارات القاهرة وبرج العرب واألقصر.

استقرار أسعار تذاكر الطٌران فى قطر رغم «الوقود» رصد مراقبون لقطاع السٌاحة والسفر استقراراً فً أسعار تذاكر الطٌران بالسوق المحلً رغم قٌام بعض شركات الطٌران بإدراج رسوم للوقود على أسعار تذاكر الطٌران فً ماٌو الجاري مشٌرٌن إلى أنها جاءت نتٌجة لالرتفاع القٌاسً ألسعار النفط التً تدور حالٌا ً حول مستوى 80دوالرا للبرمٌل ،األمر الذي أدى الرتفاع تكلفة وقود الطائرات بواقع % 60فً العام 2017و % 15فً العام 2018 وٌتجه عدد من شركات الطٌران إلدراج رسوم وقود ضمن التذاكر فً ٌونٌو المقبل وٌبلغ متوسط الزٌادةفً سعر التذكرة الواحدة بٌن 36رٌاالً و 100لاير فقط فٌما تمتلك شركات الطٌران الحرٌة فً عدم تطبٌقرسوم الوقود وفقا ً العتبارات سٌاسة التسعٌر التً تتبعها. وأوضح المراقبون أن هذه الزٌادة طفٌفة للغاٌة وال تؤثر فً إجمالً سعر التذكرة وبالتالً لن تنعكس سلبا ً فً مستوٌات الطلب على السٌاحة والسفر بالسوق المحلً موضحٌن أن بعض شركات الطٌران قامت فعالً بتطبٌق رسوم الوقود مثل الخطوط الجوٌة السرٌالنكٌة، بٌنما تتحضر شركات أخرى لها بعد التنسٌق مع شركات السفر والسٌاحة وخصوصا ً أن الموسم الحالً ٌشهد تلقائٌا ً ارتفاعا ً فً اسعار التذاكر بسبب الطلب الشدٌد على السفر فً موسم الصٌف واالعٌاد وبالتالً فان رسوم الوقود لن ٌكون لها تأثٌر حقٌقً على األسعار. وتشٌر بٌانات ROM2RIOإلى أن تكلفة رحالت الطٌران سجلت ارتفاعا ً ملحوظا ً على مستوى شركات الطٌرانالعالمٌة فً أعقاب االرتفاع القٌاسً ألسعار النفط ،حٌث ارتفعت متوسط تكلفة الكٌلومتر للرحلة عالمٌا من 17.75سنت أمٌركً إلى 18.8سنت أمٌركً خالل عام فقط. وٌقول أٌمن القدوة ،مدٌر عام سفرٌات الصقر ،أن الشركة تلقت إخطاراً من الخطوط الجوٌة السٌرٌالنكٌة ٌتضمن اضافة بقٌمة 10دوالرات ( 36.4لاير قطري) على سعر التذكرة فً االتجاه الواحد و 20دوالرا أمٌركٌا ( 72.8لاير قطري) للسعر فً االتجاهٌن (ذهابا وعودة) وذلك بعد قٌام الشركة بأدراج رسوم الوقود ضمن التذكرة مؤكداً أن الخطوط السرٌالنكٌة هً الوحٌدة التً أبلغت المكتب بهذا التغٌٌر،

2 http://almasalla.travel متوقعا ً تلقً المزٌد من االخطارات من قبل شركات الطٌران األخرى حول رفع أسعارها وذلك خالل شهر ٌونٌو المقبل. وأكد القدوة أن رسوم الوقود لٌس من الضروري ان تلتزم بها جمٌع شركات الطٌران خصوصا ً أن تسعٌر الرحالت ٌخضع لحزمة من االعتبارات أبرزها :طرازات الطائرات المستخدمة ،وأجور طاقم الطائرة ،والضٌافة ،وتكلفة الوقود، ورسوم الخدمات األرضٌة المقدمة فً المطارات كما ٌخضع أٌضا ً العتبارات مواسم الذروة ومواسم الركود وبالتالً فإن كل شركة طٌران تمتلك خٌارات واسعة وحرٌة فً تحدٌد تطبٌق رسومالوقود من عدمه .وأكد أن العروض التً تقام من قبل شركات الطٌران وخصوصا ً الخطوط الجوٌة القطرٌة ،وكذلك الباقات المشجعة من قبل مكاتب السٌاحة تسهم فً تخفٌف العبء عن المسافرٌن وخصوصا ً األسر ،حٌث تؤدي الخصومات إلى خفض التكلفة األمر الذي ٌؤدي الستقرار فً أسعار تذاكر الطٌرانبالسوق المحلً. موسم مزدحم ومن جانبه ،قال صالح الطوٌل ،مدٌر عام سفرٌات العالمٌة ،إن ارتفاع سعر برمٌل النفط وبلوغه لمستوٌات قٌاسٌة وراء تطبٌق شركات طٌران رسوم الوقود مشدداً على أنها لن تؤثر فً سعر التذكرة مشٌراً إلى أن السنوات المقبلة ستشهد استقراراً أكبر فً أسعار التذاكر مع توسع الخطوط القطرٌة نحو وجهات جدٌدة ومع ازدٌاد نشاط شركات طٌران فً المنطقة وفً الشرق األوسط وشرق آسٌا داخل السوق القطري، مما سٌؤدي إلى منافسة أكبر وبالتالً إلى تخفٌض أسعار التذاكر ،علما ً بأن العروض التً تطلق من فترة ألخرى من قبل الخطوط الجوٌة القطرٌة تسهم فً تخفٌض التكالٌف وخصوصا ً بالنسبة لألسر ،منوها إلى أن عدم توفر عروض فً مواسم معٌنة قد ٌؤدي باألسر إلى الغاء رحلتها لتفادي تكالٌف إضافٌة. الحجز المبكر وفً السٌاق نفسه ،علقت سمٌرة دروٌش ،مدٌر عام سفرٌات سٌف -قطر ،بالقول إن المكتب تلقى اخطاراً من الخطوط الجوٌة السرٌالنكٌة فقط حول رفع سعر التذكرة بمعدل 10دوالرات ( 36.4لاير قطري) ،بٌنما لم تتلق أي معلومات من شركات طٌران اخرى ٌتعامل معها المكتب فً الحجوزات للخارج إلى وجهات مختلفة.

SAA consolidates Nigerian route amidst restructuring exercise Airlifts 1.5 million passengers on LagosJohannesburg in 20 years South African Airways (SAA) has pledged commitment to the Nigerian route in its ongoing restructuring exercise to return the carrier to profitability. The Chief Executive Officer of the airline, Vuyani Jarana, said the Lagos-Johannesburg route especially, is one of the most successful in its network and remains critical to the current turnaround plan. Jarana, who was recently on a familiarisation visit to major stakeholders and partners in Nigeria, said there was plan to restore the Abuja operations, as part of the strategy to grow the West African patronage. The airline, in 20 years of operation, has airlifted over 1.5 million passengers on the Lagos-Johannesburg route.

U.S. Airlines Lose Tolerance for MoneyLosing Flights as Fuel Prices Rise Nothing refocuses airline executives like rising fuel prices. If they continue to creep up, expect airlines to cancel more marginal routes For the past eight years, few American Airlines flights have lost as much money as Chicago to Beijing. No matter what airplane it used — the larger Boeing 777 at first, or the smaller and more fuel efficient Boeing 787-8 in later years— the route never clicked. Yet American kept the route in its ―strategic flying,‖ portfolio — something Vasu Raju, American‘s vice president for planning, defined earlier this year in an interview as, ―a euphemism for losing money but telling yourself it‘s OK.‖ There‘s some rationale for this approach. The U.S. and China limit flights between the two countries, and while there‘s now more supply than demand — meaning fares are low — carriers figure someday that will change as more Chinese travelers visit the United States. American didn‘t want to stop flying Chicago-Beijing only to have a competitor take the rights, move the flight to another airport, and make major profits in 2025. In October it will end the route, and though it has asked the U.S. Department of Transportation to let it keep the rights, so it can use them in the future, there‘s no guarantee the government will grant its request. ―We had made a tremendous investment in China,‖ American President Robert Isom said May 22 at the Wolfe Research 11th Annual Global Transportation Conference. ―We‘ve taken a look and said, ‗Hey, you know what, the losses of tens of millions of dollars per year isn‘t something that‘s sustainable right now.‘ And so we‘re not doing it. We‘re pulling back.‖ This is not an isolated case. Airlines often cancel poor performers so they can use aircraft elsewhere, but they may tolerate some money-losers if they believe they need them for strategic reasons. However, with fuel prices rising — the price of a barrel of oil is up roughly $20 since last June — the math is changing. United Airlines estimates every $1 increase in the cost of a barrel of oil represents a $100 million increase in operating costs — so a marginal performer can quickly become a disaster. ―What really determines how long a carrier will invest in strategic flying is the level of losses and how close to the expected ramp up performance the route is achieving,‖ said Mark Drusch, a former executive at Delta Air Lines and Continental Airlines and now a vice president for

All might be top performers some day – the three big-city airports are capacity controlled, making them challenging for new entrants— but for Alaska, they didn‘t work. ―Alaska walked away from slots at constrained airports in big cities … because those slots don‘t work for them,‖ Hunter Keay, an analyst at Wolfe Research, wrote in April. ―That‘s the type of move that‘s often lacking in the airline industry. Bottom line: Alaska is re-focusing on its core markets, customers, and areas of strength while deemphasizing areas of weakness.‖ Not all the strategic flying mishaps came from Virgin America. Alaska also struggled in Cuba last year once it started flying Los Angeles to Havana. After the Obama Administration dropped restrictions on who could travel to Cuba, U.S. airlines added flights, even though they knew they might lose money short-term. They hoped early investments someday would create profits —a similar strategy to what long-haul airlines have been trying in China.

China Southern Airlines increases Nairobi flights China Southern Airlines has increased its NairobiGuangzhou flights to three times a week to tap increased business and tourism travel between the two countries. The airline will operate Monday, Tuesday and Friday flights using an Airbus A330-200 aircraft that has a 218passenger capacity. The aircraft has four, 24 and 190 first, business and economy class seats respectively. China Southern Airlines previously only flew into Nairobi on Mondays and Fridays. Sales and marketing officer Sospeter Mobe said the new flight frequency will kick off starting June 10 to October, when the management is set to review the schedule. ―We are working together to promote China-Kenya tour and travel business. To those travelling to China during the period, free accommodation in Guangzhou will be provided to passengers using China Southern Airlines and international code share flights if the connecting time is more than eight hours but not more than 48 hours,‖ said Mr Mobe. The airlines latest move is also set to offer stiffer competition to national carrier Kenya Airways , which also plies the route.

Jeddah’s new airport welcomes first commercial flight The airport’s soft launch comes despite the GACA cancelling a concession to manage the facility earlier this year Jeddah’s new King Abdul Aziz International Airport welcomed its first commercial flight on Tuesday, as part of the soft launch of operations at the new facility. The airport will have a four-phase launch with the official opening in the first quarter of 2019, the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) said. The phased opening is aimed at ensuring that the airport is “fully functional” and that employees are well-trained, it stated. Under phase one, a small number of domestic flights will operate between May to July. In phase two – from July to September – there will be an increase in the number of domestic flights. By phase three, which will run from November to December, all domestic flights will be shifted to the new airport, and the final phase from January to March 2019 will see the airport accommodate domestic and international flights. When fully open, the airport will operate 46 gates, but during the soft launch, only six gates will handle a limited number of flights, officials said. Additional gates will be opened in line with the growth in capacity.
