إقالع 96رحلة لـ"مصر للطٌران" من مطار القاهرة تقل 14 ألف راكب كتب محمود عبد الغنى
سٌرت الشركة الوطنٌة مصر للطٌران ،خالل الـ 24ساعة الماضٌة 96 ،رحلة داخلٌة ودولٌة ،أقلعت من مطار القاهرة الدولى ،لتقل نحو 14أل ًفا و 400راكب من جمٌع الجنسٌات. وأضاف مصدر ،أن الشركة الوطنَة مصر للطَران ،سَرت منذ بداَة الَوم96 ، رحلة إلً المطارات الداخلَة والعواصم العربَة واألوروبَة ،فً حالة انتظام حسب جدول التشغَل ،ودون إلغاء أي رحلة مقررة.

استقبل مطار القاهرة الدولً خالل الـ 24ساعة الماضٌة 181رحالت جوٌة دولٌة وداخلٌة ،سٌرتها الشركة الوطنٌة مصر للطٌران ،وعدد من شركات الطٌران المصرٌة والعالمٌة ،من العواصم والمدن العالمٌة والمطارات الداخلٌة المصرٌة. وأكد مصدر مالحٍ أن المطار شهد وصول 27ألف و 150راكبا علً متن 181رحلة خالل 24ساعة. وأضاف المصدر أنه تم تَسَر خروج الركاب من جمَع صاالت الوصول بالمطار عقب انتهاء إجراءات التفتَش المتبعة.

"مصر للطٌران" تفتح باب التدرٌب السنوي لطالب الجامعات كتب :أمنٌة سعٌد
أعلنت شركة مصر للطٌران ،عن بدء تقدم طالب الجامعات المصرٌة ،لاللتحاق بالتدرٌب السنوي للشركة فً عطلة منتصف العام الدراسً فً شهر دٌسمبر المقبل ،و ُتستقبل طلبات الطالب لحٌن استكمال العدد المطلوب. وأوضحت الشركة ،خالل إعالنها ،أن مركز التدرَب َستقبل طلبات الطالب لاللتحاق بالتدرَب لمرة ثانَة ،بداَة من شهر أبرَل من كل سنة ،وَستطَع الطالب التقدَم من خالل الموقع اإللكترونٍ لمركز التدرَب بالشركة.

إلغاء 620رحلة فً مطار بروكسٌل البلجٌكً ..والسبب!! أحمد عبد الرحمن
ٌواصل ،الٌوم الثالثاء ،عمال نقل أمتعة الركاب بشركة "أفٌابارتنر" البلجٌكٌة إضرابهم للٌوم السادس على التوالى ،مما أدى إلى إلغاء 140رحلة على األقل من بٌن 620مقررة الٌوم فً مطار بروكسل زافنٌتم ،حسبما أعلنت وكالة األنباء البلجٌكٌة. ً مشَرة أن وذكرت وكالة األنباء البلجَكَة أن عدد الرحالت الملغاة مرشح للزَادة، المطار أعلن علً موقعه أن اإلضراب مستمر وأن "أفَابارتنر" لن تسَر أٌ رحلة حتً َتم حل المشكلة العاملَن. وبدأ اإلضراب بشكل عفوٌ الخمَس الماضٍ ،وتسبب فٍ إلغاء مئات الرحالت، وغادر مسئولو نقابة العمال وإدارة "أفَابارتنر" أمس طاولة المفاوضات من دون اتفاق ،علً وعد باستئناف الحوار الَوم.

Egypt Air Corp. to receive its new cargo aircraft Nov. EgyptAir Aviation Company, headed by Bassem Jowhar, is currently preparing to receive early November its new airbus A330 with a capacity of 60 tons as part of the company's plan to develop its cargo services. The company’s officials announced that the second plane will join the service immediately, noting that the first plane received by the company joined the operating line and headed to Chad. EgyptAir is scheduled to receive the third plane in June 2019, as part of an agreement signed by EgyptAir and Airbus to convert A330 Airbus aircrafts into cargo aircrafts

Emirates now flies its Airbus A380 to Osaka Emirates’ daily flights between Dubai and Osaka are now operated by its double-decker Airbus A380 superjumbo aircraft, giving premium passengers both a business and a first class cabin to choose from along with access to the aircraft’s Onboard Lounge. The inaugural A380 flight to the Kansai region city arrived on Sunday, joining Emirates’ Tokyo Narita service as the only other Japan routes operated by the airline’s superjumbo. Emirates first began flying to Osaka in April 2004 and since then has carried an estimated 2.6 million passengers on the route. The A380 will give Emirates some 38 per cent additional capacity between Dubai and Osaka. “Osaka is a significant gateway for Emirates in Japan and this capacity increase allows us to extend our A380 service to passengers who appreciate an unrivalled travel experience,” said Thierry Antinori, executive vice president and chief commercial officer at Emirates.

2 Premium passengers notably have the option of 76 fully flat minipod business class seats on the A380 – located on the main deck – along with 14 first class private suites on the upper deck. The latter also come with shower facilities. Both business and first class passengers are also able to make use of the A380’s Onboard Lounge, along with being provided a Japanese dining service The outbound flight from Dubai departs as EK316 in the early hours of the morning, arriving in Osaka mid-afternoon, while the return EK317 flight takes off from Osaka just before midnight and lands back in Dubai early the following morning.

Kenya: Nairobi - New York Flight to Boost KQ Revenue By 10% Kenya Airways (KQ) expects the Nairobi - New York route launched on Sunday will boost revenue by 10 percent next year. Speaking to CNN's Richard Quest on Quest Means Business, Kenya Airways Chief Executive Sebastian Mikosz says the new route is a big turning point for the airline that has been struggling to get back to profitability. He says the move will see Nairobi become the Hub for Africa. "We are just the fifth African Airline, and the sixth airline flying not stop between North America and Africa. In this Industry nobody makes business day one, you have to build a route and give yourself time for the public to know about the product and sales power to kick in," Mikosz said. Kenya Airways already serves at least 40 destinations in Africa alone and also flies to Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the Indian Sub Continent. The launch of the extra long haul flight is also expected to attract more US corporations into the Kenyan market, to add to the more than 40 that have already set base in Nairobi as their Africa headquarters. The National carrier posted a half-year loss of Sh3.9 billion, a 30 percent improvement from the Sh5.7bn the airline posted in the first half of 2017.

Air Namibia resumes flights to Zim after briefly pulling out – reports Air Namibia has reportedly confirmed the resumption of flights to Zimbabwe "after briefly pulling out of the country following an attempted seizure of its aircraft". The airline cancelled flights to Zimbabwe a few weeks ago after one of its aircraft was impounded by authorities in Harare. This followed reports that a Zimbabwean man was trying to sue Air Namibia for $1m after airline officials allegedly barred him and his family from travelling to Turkey. But New Zimbabwe.com reported on Tuesday that a Zimbabwe High Court had since granted the lifting of the attachment of the Namibian aircraft in the ongoing case. A New Era report said that days of flight operations remained unchanged. Windhoek to Harare was operated on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday, whereas the Windhoek to Victoria Falls route was operated on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Harare High Court Judge Tawanda Chitapi had initially authorised the sheriff of the court to attach Air Namibia’s property, including planes, pending the finalisation of the case in which Zimbabwean family man Chenjerai Mawumba sued the airline for "pain, suffering and trauma".

He said he and his family were detained at Windhoek’s Hosea Kutako International Airport for two days, then deported back to Zimbabwe. "We were advised by Air Namibia officials that we were not permitted to travel to Turkey as planned because of our Zimbabwean nationality," Mawumba alleged in court papers quoted by the private Daily News. He said they were told this "in the most racist, arbitrary and extemporary fashion" by airline officials. According to the Daily News, Mawumba found out later that Air Namibia had "a policy of denying Zimbabweans and other nationalities access to Europe in a bid to save itself from paying fines imposed by Germany authorities for the conveyance of illegal passengers". The paper added: "While the airline was aware of this policy, it still accepted his flight payments."

Lufthansa seeks alliance with Alitalia, cuts capacity plans Lufthansa is considering a commercial partnership with Alitalia, but has ruled out a financial investment. “Investing is out of the question for us alongside a state-owned entity,” Lufthansa Group CEO Carsten Spohr said Oct. 30. “A commercial partnership is on the agenda for the next few months; we know the management team at Alitalia very well.” Binding bids for a stake in Alitalia are due Oct. 31 and Lufthansa has in the past expressed an interest in investing. However, the German airline has made clear what measures would have to be taken in terms of restructuring the airline before it would commit to putting in its own money. Those proposals have been rejected by the Italian government, which has kept the carrier flying through bridge loans since the airline went into the Italian equivalent of bankruptcy. Spohr said Lufthansa wants to continue to play an active role in European airline market consolidation. He has hinted in the past that conversations have taken place with longhaul LCC Norwegian. Lufthansa Group’s own LCC, Eurowings, has integrated around half of the former airBerlin operation since the competitor stopped flying one year ago. As part of that, Lufthansa paid €170 million ($193 million) to incorporate airBerlin aircraft into Eurowings’ fleet and to deal with operational chaos that dominated the build-up of its capacity through the summer.

2 Overall, Lufthansa Group has had to cancel around 18,000 flights this year, the equivalent of shutting down its Frankfurt hub for two weeks. Advertising, mouse over for audio While Spohr expects Eurowings’ problems to slowly come under control–and the affiliate to post a profit in 2019–the group is facing new headwinds in the form of rising fuel costs. In 2018, it already anticipates €850 million in extra expenses for the full year, but it appears to be able to fully compensate for them. For 2019, another €900 million will come on top and the company is seeking measures to counteract this to avoid an impact on margins. Lufthansa CFO Ulrik Svensson said measures were needed both on the revenue and cost sides. Spohr said the fuel cost increase “has to have an impact on fares, in particular at the bottom end of the fare spectrum.” The cheap entry level fares seen in 2018 “have no future,” he said. But he cautioned that fare increases are going to have to be decided “by the market.” Lufthansa is also reducing planned capacity growth in the summer of 2019. It now expects to increase capacity by 3.8%, while initial plans called for more than 5% expansion. Eurowings is slowing down after the out-of-sequence hike of 23% more capacity in the first nine months of 2018. Lufthansa is also moving growth away from Frankfurt, from where it will remove Airbus A321s and A340-600s next summer. The A321s will be replaced by Bombardier CRJ900s to protect slots. Most of the larger aircraft will be based in Munich, while some will move to Zurich and Vienna. Investors did not like the airline’s guidance–Lufthansa’s shares lost 8% in the afternoon. However, traffic remains encouraging, at least in part. Yields to AsiaPacific were up 1.9% in the third quarter and stable for traffic to the Americas. In Europe, they fell by 4.3%.

Indonesia removes Lion Air director after plane crash - Antara news agency - Indonesia’s transport minister removed on Wednesday the technical director of the Lion Air airline and several of its technicians after the crash of one of its jets with 189 people on board, the Antara news agency reported on Wednesday. “Today we dismiss (the director( from his position and his duty,” Budi Karya Sumadi said, citing the accident on Monday as the reason. He said technicians were also dismissed. It was not clear whether the removal was permanent or temporary. Lion Air’s chief executive, Edward Sirait, told Reuters he had not heard of the minister’s order. (Reporting by Gayatri Suroyo and Cindy Silviana)
