مضٌفة تجٌد لغة الصم والبكم تنقذ فتاة مرٌضة على طائرة مصر للطٌران كتبٌ :وسف العومً لم تعلم إٌمان ناجى ،المضٌفة الجوٌة بشركة مصر للطٌران ،أن شغفها لتعلم لغة الصم والبكم فى أوقات فراغها وإجادتها اللغة إلى حد كبٌر ،سٌكون له مردود إٌجابى على عملها ،فخالل رحلة مصر للطٌران العائدة من برلٌن وبعد إقالع الطائرة بنحو نصف ساعة ،بدأت فتاة صغٌرة تدعى مٌجان فى الصراخ بشكل هستٌرى ،حاول الركاب وطاقم الضٌافة برئاسة أحمد المالح معرفة السبب لكنهم لم ٌفهموا شٌئا ّ فتم استدعاء الطٌار عمر همام قائد الرحلة ،الذى حاول تهدئة الفتاة وشقٌقها الذى ٌجلس بجوارها. وتقول إٌمان :تدخلت وفهمت أن الفتاة وشقٌقها من الصم والبكم ،وأن الفتاة مصابة بنزلة برد وإنفلونزا شدٌدة ،ومع ضغط الطائرة واإلقالع شعرت الفتاة بآالم شدٌدة فسارعت وأحضرت لها بعض العقاقٌر الطبٌة ،وجلست بجانبها وتضٌف« :عملت لها كمادات باردة ساعدتها على استرجاع درجة حرارتها ،وأضافت أن الفتاة فور نزولها من الطائرة سارعت إلى وعانقتنى وقدمت لى ورقة مكتوب علٌها «شكر» جعلتنى أشعر بالسعادة.

وصل إلى مطار القاهرة محمود الخطٌب رئٌس النادى األهلى قادما من ألمانٌا بعد رحلة عالج استغرقت ما ٌقارب أسبوعٌن وكان فى استقباله الدكتور أشرف صبحى وزٌر الشباب والرٌاضة ،والعامري فاروق نائب رئٌس مجلس إدارة النادي األهلً، وخالد الدرندلً أمٌن صندوق النادي األهلً ،ومجلس إدارة النادي األهلً. وصل محمود الخطٌب ،إلى مطار القاهرة الدولً ،على متن رحلة الخطوط التركٌة رقم 694القادمة من اسطنبول. ٌذكر أن الخطٌب خضع لعملٌة جراحٌة فً ألمانٌا عبارة عن استئصال ورم النخاع الشوكً الذي تسبب فً آالم العمود الفقري عانى منها لعدة أشهر بسبب إصراره على تؤجٌل العملٌة والتحامل على نفسه للوصول مع األهلً وتدعٌمه فً نهائً أفرٌقٌا . ومن المقرر أن ٌشهد مقر الجزٌرة ظهور الخطٌب ظهر االثنٌن للوقوف على اللمسات النهائٌة للجهاز الفنً وتدعٌمات الكرة خالل الفترة المقبلة ،خاصة بعد اإلخفاقات التً شهدها فرٌق الكرة فً الفترة األخٌرة بعد الخروج من البطولة العربٌة ،وخسارة بعض مبارٌات الدوري وعدم تحقٌق أول مطالب الخطٌب بضٌاع اللقب اإلفرٌقً.

مدرسة تركٌة تحول طائرة إلى فصل دراسً مالك مدرسة ٌحول طائرة إٌرباص A310المستبعدة من الطٌران إلى ملعب ،ومكتبة وفصل للطلبة فً مدرسة لزمٌر الخاصة بتركٌا .وبحسب موقع « «cgtnاشترت إدارة مدرسة لزمٌر الخاصة الطائرة ،التً تم استبعادها من خدمة الطٌران بأحد مطارات تركٌا ،وتم تجدٌدها وتزٌٌنها للطلبة إلعطائهم روح المرح واالسترخاء لتعلٌمهم فٌها ،دروس اللغة اإلنجلٌزٌة ،برمجة الروبوت ،ودروس البرمجة حٌث ٌؤخذ الطالب مكانها داخل الطائرة. وتم أٌضا ً تشجٌع الطلبة للمرح باكتشاف الجزء الخارجً للطائرة بالزحف إلى محركات الطائرة ،واللعب باألراجٌح المعلقة من الطائرة.

محاولة هبوط طائرة إماراتٌة محاولة هبوط طائرة إماراتٌة خالل موجة من الطقس السًء اضطر قائدها إلى عودة الطٌران مرة أخرى بعد أن المس األرض ،لٌعود وٌهبط من جدٌد من أجل أقصى درجة من األمن والسالمة للطائرة ،حٌث كانت الطائرة اإلماراتٌة تتعامل مع إعصار "دٌانا"، الذي ضرب برٌطانٌا ،عند وصولها لمطار نٌوكاسل ،ونجحت بالفعل بالهبوط بعد سٌطرة تامة من الطٌار.

Nairobi now says no to ET extra route request The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) has denied Ethiopian Airlines (ET) a licence to operate scheduled passenger flights on the Johannesburg-Nairobi–Brussels route, saving Kenya Airways from an imminent battle for passengers in the Aafrican airspace. KCAA admitted that the Ethiopian carrier had been denied a licence to operate passenger business from South Africa through the Kenyan airspace but declined to disclose what informed the decision. Ethiopian Airlines wanted to fly B757 aircraft on the new route if allowed to operate out of Nairobi. “KCAA denied Ethiopian Airline the licence it applied for. Only Ethiopia Airlines can apply to be informed of the reasons,” KCAA director-general Gilbert Kibe said in a short text message. Rapid expansion Ethiopian Airlines‟ recent growth has been fast, prompting the carrier to revise its ambitious 15-year strategy of 2010 and buy more planes to step up its rapid expansion. It had planned to more than double its fleet to 120 and become Africa‟s biggest airline by 2025 but rapid growth has seen it expand its fleet to 100 planes seven years ahead of target. “We have expanded more than we planned. We had to revise the objective to make it 150 airplanes or more by 2025,” said the Airlines chief executive, Tewolde Gebremariam, in a past interview with the Reuters. Kenya Airways (KQ) and South African Airways to become Africa‟s largest airline by revenue and profit, according to the International Air Transport Association. KQ's expansion in the African airspace has, in contrast, faced headwinds in the recent past. Three East African nations have refused to allow the Kenyan national carrier to use small Bombardier planes to operate scheduled flights in their capitals, causing a near diplomatic row. Burundi, for instance, declined the Bombardier DHC8-Q400 aircraft on grounds that it has no business class seats while Djibouti and Southern Sudan flatly declined KQ‟s applications. KQ prefers use of Bombardier planes on short-haul flights because they are less costly to operate. 'Politically motivated' Sebastian Mikosz, the KQ chief executive, on Thursday told Parliament that the rejections are “politically motivated” and are hampering the carrier‟s regional expansion plans. “So while we have an aircraft that is much cheaper to operate and is very decent, we find political decisions not allowing us to operate those aircraft,” said Mr Mikosz, adding that many UK and US carriers operate the plane for short-distance flights. South African Airways commences direct flights to Maldives Weekly flights are scheduled to make trips from Africa to Gan in Addu City The flights accommodate up to 300 passengers The first flight landed at Gan International Airport on Sunday morning South African Airlines has begun operating direct flights between Johannesburg, South Africa and Gan, Maldives on Sunday. While the first flight landed at Gan International Airport on Sunday morning, the passengers were welcomed at the airport by Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, Aishath Nahula, her husband and Parliament Speaker Qasim Ibrahim, Addu City Council‟s Mayor Abdulla Sodiq, Managing Director of Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) Thoyyib Mohamed. The flights, which commenced from 02nd December, are allocated to make weekly trips in A340 buses which can accommodate up to 300 tourists every week. The commencement of these flights were announced in August this year and were to initially begin on the 24th of November, but was delayed. While over 5,000 tourist arrivals were recorded from South Africa to the Maldives last year, the operation of these flights are expected to bring a hike to tourist arrivals from the region.

Gulf airlines plan twice daily flights to Kerala's new airport Flights to Kannur International Airport will be outside the ambit of the bilateral rights on maximum number of airline seats currently agreed upon between India and countries in the Gulf region The additional rights to airlines for flying to Kannur is expected to be sanctioned, based on a special request made by the Kannur International Airport Ltd (KIAL) authorities to India‟s civil aviation ministry. Gulf airlines are likely to get special permission from the Indian civil aviation authorities to operate two daily flights to Kannur International Airport, the new international airport in the southern state of Kerala that starts operations from Sunday next. The flights, if allowed, will be outside the ambit of the bilateral rights on maximum number of airline seats currently agreed upon between India and countries in the Gulf region. A similar special permission is expected to be granted for some of the Indian carriers proposing to operate to various airports in the Middle East. Aviation pact “We have also sought permission for a matching number of flights by domestic airlines which want to fly to various Gulf destinations from KIAL.” KIAL asked for a special dispensation on allowing flights to and from the Middle East region as “KIAL was not part of the present bilateral rights by India on airline seats sharing pact with the region when it was negotiated and finalised”. Thulasidas said KIAL has proposed that the additional flights to Middle East destinations should be included in the bilateral rights between India and the countries in the Middle East as and when the new seat sharing agreements are finalised. A similar special dispensation on additional flights to and from the Gulf countries was also extended to the Cochin International Airport in the initial period of its operation, Thulasidas added. Local carriers Air India Express and Go Air will operate flights to the Gulf in the initial phase of KIAL‟s operations. Air India Express will operate its first flight to Abu Dhabi on December 9, and will offer services to Sharjah and Riyadh. The carrier will schedule its services to Muscat depending on availability of additional aircraft. Go Air will start operations in mid-January. Passenger traffic Thulasidas said he and his team have held discussions with almost all airlines in the Middle East countries about operating flights to KIAL and most have shown keen interest in it. “We understand that some of these airlines including Emirates …. have already applied to DGCA for permission for their flights to KIAL. Some other airlines from the region also must have applied to DGCA for permission but we have no specific information on that,”

KIAL expects total passenger traffic of 1.8 million in the first year of its operation, with significant cargo also expected, particularly from the Gulf region. “Because of KIAL‟s proximity to some of the regions in Karnataka such as Coorg and Mysore, besides the adjacent regions in Kerala, KIAL is expected to attract both expat Indians working in various Gulf countries from these regions, as also international tourists,” Thulasidas said. There are several other tourist destinations near to Kannur, including Wayanad, Nileshawar and Bekal Lake, besides Coorg and Mysore. KIAL, the second greenfield airport in Kerala developed on the public-private partnership (PPP) model, after Cochin International Airport, will also offer concessional landing and parking charges to all airlines, including the international carriers in a bid to attract them to operate to the airport. „„We propose to work out the extent of concessional rates for landing, parking and other ground handling charges with each airline separately, depending on their level of operations to our airport,” Thulasidas said. As for User Development Charges applicable at Indian airports, KIAL proposes to charge a concessional rate of Rs 500 ($7.17) for international flights and Rs 150 ($2.15) for domestic flights. Thulasidas also said the Kerala government has already agreed on a special concessional tax rate of 1 percent for aviation fuel at KIAL, instead of the 29 percent tax applicable on the aviation fuel at other airports in the state. The concessional tax rate on ATF will be applicable for the first 10 years of operations at KIAL. With Kannur and adjacent regions being a major producer of textiles and handlooms, spices, coffee, Thulasidas said KIAL expects to get a large chunk of the air cargo business from the beginning of its operations itself, mainly that of high value handloom, coffee, spices, marine products and perishables such as vegetables
