سماء المنٌاوي قضت محكمة جنح الدقى برئاسة المستشار أحمد عبد الجٌد بثبوت اإلدانة ضد كال من الطٌار حسام كمال أبو الخٌر وزٌر الطٌران المدنً سابقا ورئٌس مجلس إدارة الشركة القابضة لمصر للطٌران سابقا ً والطٌار محمد رشدى زكرٌا رئٌس مجلس إدارة شركة مصر للطٌران وشركة سمارت للطٌران سابقا ً وضابط أمن الشركة حسٌن محمود فهمى وذلك بعد تؤكد ثبوت جنحة البالغ الكاذب علٌهم من واقع مستندات مقٌمى الدعوى. . وطبقا للحكم -الذي حصلت اخبار مصر على نسخة منه عقب صدوره كتابٌا أمس الخمٌس – تعود أحداث الواقعة لشهر سبتمبر 2012عندما قامت نٌابة النزهة بإستدعاء كال من مدٌر رحلة سابق عبد الوهاب محمد وحٌد الدٌن طلبة وكبٌر مضٌفٌن جوٌٌن تامر سعد السٌوفى عن طرٌق أمر ضبط وإحضار ووجهت تهم عقوبتها من 3سنٌن إلى 15 سنة سجن كان من بٌنها التحرٌض على اإلضراب وتعطٌل مواصلة ومرفق عام واالمتناع عن العمل وتحقٌق أضرار ب 200ملٌون جنٌه . وتم إجراء التحقٌقات مع كلٌهما وشمل اإلتهام 9أخرٌن كان منهم كبٌر مضٌفٌن جوٌٌن ٌسرى أنسى خلٌل.. .. قضت محكمة جنح الدقى بالغرامة خمسة األف جنٌه وتعوٌض مبدئً جنٌه واحد لمقٌمى الدعوى لما تسبب لهم من أضرار وٌحق للمتحصلٌن على الحكم المطالبة بالتعوٌض األدبى والمادى بناء على ما سببه لهم من شملهم حكم اإلدانة من أضرار نفسٌة ومعنوٌة ووظٌفة مازالت أثارها قائمة على مقٌمى الدعوى من واقع المستندات.

حسٌن الحربً نفى سفٌر السعودٌة لدى مصر ،أحمد قطان ،صحة حادثة ضرب مواطن سعودي فً مطار القاهرة ،والتً تم تداولها عبر شبكات التواصل االجتماعً. وكتب قطان ،فً تغرٌدات على موقع "توٌتر" حول الحادثة: "القصة ال أساس لها من الصحة ،وأنه كان ٌجب على الجمٌع أن ٌنتظر حتى تتضح الحقائق كاملة" .وأضاف أنه سوف ٌتخذ جمٌع اإلجراءات القانونٌة حٌال نشر معلومات خاطئة تسببت فً إثارة الرأي العام. وكان الداعٌة السعودي حمود الشمري قد اختلق واقعة ضرب مواطن سعودي بطرٌقة وحشٌة أمام زوجته وأطفاله فً مطار القاهرة ،بسبب خالف بٌنه وبٌن مصري على مسار الجوازات الٌوم الجمعة. وقال الشمري فً سلسلة تغرٌدات له على "توٌتر"" :لم أتمكن من تصوٌر المشهد ولم أرغب أن ٌكون هذا دوري، تواصلت مع السفارة السعودٌة ،وأتمنى منهم االهتمام بعائلة المواطن وبه أٌضا ً".

إخماد حرٌق محدود فى مطار القاهرة
محمد عبدالناصر تمكن رجال الحماٌة المدنٌة بمطار القاهرة الٌوم الجمعة من إخماد حرٌق محدود فى "منور" بجوار غرفة النظم والمعلومات والتكٌٌف المركزى للمبنى اإلدارى قبل إمتداده للمكاتب المجاورة وتم تحرٌر محضر بالواقعة. وتلقى رجال الحماٌة المدنٌة بالغا ٌفٌد حدوث حرٌق فى المنور وتوجهت سٌارة مطافىء إلى الموقع وإخماد الحرٌق قبل إمتداده للمكاتب المجاورة وأهمها غرفة النظم والمعلومات والتكٌٌف المركزى للمبنى اإلدارى الذى ٌضم مكاتب البحث الجنائى. وتبٌن وجود مخلفات إشتعلت وٌرجح أن ٌكون سبب الحرٌق عقب سٌجارة قذفها مجهول فى المنور أدت للحرٌق ولم تحدث أي خسائر وتم تحرٌر محضر بالواقعة.

نجح قائد طائرة إٌر كاٌرو رحلة رقم 462المتجهة من الرٌاض إلى برج العرب وعلى متنها 150راكب بالهبوط بسالم بمطار برج العرب الساعة ،18:30وذلك بعد محاولة أحد الركاب دخول قمرة القٌادة إال أن طاقم الطائرة وفور تؤكده من عدم حمل الراكب ما قد ٌإثر علً امن وسالمة الركاب فقد نجح فى التعامل معه والسٌطرة علٌه بؤمان. . وعلى الفور قام قائد الطائرة بإبالغ برج المراقبة وسلطات المطار بتعرض الطائرة لمحاولة إقتحام من أحد الركاب ،مما دفع سلطات المطار إلى إعالن حالة الطوارئ القصوى بالمطارإستعدادا لهبوط الطائرة والتعامل مع الراكب ،و قامت الشرطة بإحتجاز الراكب فور هبوط الطائرة والتحقٌق معه للوقوف على أسباب الحادث.

The passenger was not armed. ”The crew checked if the passenger was not carrying whatever can impact the security and the safety of the passengers,“ it said. The pilot notified airport authorities, who declared a state of emergency. The passenger was detained when the plane landed, EgyptAir said. EgyptAir suffered a tragic loss in May when Flight 804, an Airbus A320 flying from Paris to Cairo, plunged into the Mediterranean Sea, killing all 66 people on board. The cause of the crash remains unknown.

Instead they now just need to pass a certification test, while agreeing to abide by certain regulations. The change in legislation is known as the Small UAS Rule and was first passed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in June this year. Drone USA, which develops and manufactures low altitude unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) together with related technologies, sees this new rule passed by the FAA which governs drones, UAVs and unmanned aerial systems (UASs) in U.S. airspace, as very much aligned with their current business model and the commercial drone segment of their business. According to Michael Bannon, Drone USA’s chief executive officer, ”Small UAS Rule will completely change the Commercial Drone market and within the first day of the new regulations going into effect the FAA reported receiving over 3,000 new applicants preregistering to take the certification test. Embraer has signed an agreement for up to five E190s with Colorful Guizhou Airlines, including two firm orders and three purchase rights. The firm order will be included in Embraer’s 2016 thirdquarter backlog. The contract has an estimated value of US$249m at the current list price, if all purchase rights are exercised. The two aircraft will be delivered in 2017. Furthermore Colorful Guizhou Airlines has signed a firm order with Embraer Executive Jets for the purchase of two Phenom 300 light business jets. Both aircraft are scheduled to be delivered by the end of this year.

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) announced that Alexandre de Juniac has officially taken on the role of Director General and CEO of the organization. He succeeds Tony Tyler, who served as IATA DG and CEO since 2011 and had announced his retirement. De Juniac was confirmed by the 72nd IATA Annual General Meeting this past June to be the seventh person to lead IATA. He brings diverse experience to the association, including leadership roles in the airline and aerospace sectors as well as in government.

GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing arm of GE, has signed a purchase-and-leaseback transaction with Korean Air Lines for five new Boeing 777F freighters powered by GE90 engines as part of the carrier’s fleet renewal program. Deliveries of the aircraft are scheduled in late 2016 and 2017. Korean Air’s passenger and cargo divisions together serve more than 125 destinations in more than 40 countries. Korean Air Cargo currently operates a fleet of some 30 freighter aircraft.

Monarch Aircraft Engineering Limited (MAEL), the engineering division of Monarch, a leading UK independent airline group, have signed an agreement to support Cathay Pacific’s Airbus A350 operation at Gatwick. The long term agreement will see the Airbus A350 added to Monarch Aircraft Engineering’s EASA Part 145 approval, allowing Monarch engineers to carry out line maintenance support on the new aircraft type. Cathay Pacific will operate the Airbus A350 into Gatwick four times a week, from 2nd September 2016 and will be the first operator of this aircraft type into the location.

British Airways plane lands in Iran after 4 years Tehran: The first British Airways (BA) passenger plane landed at Tehran on Friday morning after the airline suspended flights to Iran in October 2012. The Boeing 777, which departed from London's Heathrow airport at 9.10 p.m, arrived in Imam Khomeini airport at 6.15 a.m, Xinhua news agency reported. BA will operate six return flights per week between London and Tehran. BA, which first flew into the Iranian capital in 1946, becomes the second European airline to resume flights into the country, after Air France brought an eight-year break to an end in April. The resumption of BA flights on Thursday follows the lifting of some sanctions against Iran in January after the International Atomic Energy Agency said the Iranian government had met its obligations as part of a nuclear deal with six world powers.

flydubai has announced its Half-Year Results for 2016 and has reported total revenue of AED 2,302 million (USD 627 million) an increase of 5.4% compared to the first six months of 2015 and a loss of AED 89.9 million (USD 24.5 million) 39% lower than the same period in 2015. Passenger numbers have increased to 4.9 million demonstrating sustained growth; an increase of 16.5% compared to the first six months of 2015. The number of Business Class passengers carried, per departure, saw an increase of 19% compared to same period in 2015. Lower fuel prices, together with a reduction in its hedging position from 41% in 2015 to 22% in 2016, saw fuel account for 23.5% of total operating cost down from 30.6% in 2015.

Revised text agreed for aviation carbon offset scheme Participation in a carbon-offsetting scheme being developed to help aviation achieve carbon-neutral growth initially will be voluntary for states under the proposed text of a resolution to be presented for approval by the ICAO Assembly in October. The latest text, released Sept. 2, is the result of extensive consultation with states on ICAO’s proposed global market-based measure (MBM), called the Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA), culminating in an Aug. 16 meeting to develop a compromise text. The new text calls for phased implementation of the MBM, beginning with a pilot phase in 2021-23 and first phases in 2024-26 in which participation will be voluntary. The second phase in 2027-35 will be mandatory, with exemptions for nations with only a small share of international aviation activity as measured in revenue tonne kilometres flown in 2018. ”The new text includes some changes to the recommended MBM that impact the coverage of the system. Most significantly, it pushes back mandatory offsetting from 2021 to 2027,“ the International Council for Clean Transportation (ICCT), an environmental non-government organization, said in an initial analysis of the new draft text. ”The text also allows for countries that volunteer to join these initial phases to subsequently opt out, provided they give at least six months’ notice,“ ICCT noted. ”How much post-2020 growth will need to be offset now depends upon which countries opt into the initial voluntary phases.“ ICCT has previously calculated the MBM will not offset enough emissions for aviation to achieve carbon-neutral growth. In the proposed pilot phase, each participating state will be able to choose one of two ways to calculate carbon offsets for international flights by carriers registered in that country: operator emissions in a given year or in 2020 as a baseline. The MBM will be reviewed every three years beginning 2022.

The text proposes that offsetting for the pilot and first phases, from 2012-29, be 100% based on RTKs flown by the overall international civil aviation sector. For the first compliance cycle under the second phase of the MBM, in 2030-32, 20% of offsetting will be based on individual operator’s RTKs, increasing to 70% for the second cycle, in 2033-35. ”The MBM is a significant piece of ICAO’s strategy for mitigating carbon emissions from growth in the international civil aviation sector,“ the organization said, noting that emissions from international civil aviation were not covered under the 2015 COP21 Paris Agreement to combat climate change. ”Since all scenarios will exempt some traffic growth, no version of the system under debate today is expected to be consistent with the aviation industry’s [goal of carbon-neutral growth from 2020,“ ICCT said. ”There have been predictions that the final agreement will cover 80% of emissions,“ the environmental organization noted. ”If Russia joins India in opting out, then Chinese participation is likely required to cover 80% of activity growth, and also that level of emissions.“

Air China launched nonstop 3X-weekly service from Shanghai to San Jose, California Sept. 1, a first for Chinese airlines. The flight is operated by Airbus A330-200. The business-class cabin has 180-degree lie-flat seats, and the aircraft is equipped with a personal entertainment system. The Beijing-based carrier’s launch of ShanghaiSan Jose service expands its airline network in America and grows its global airline network with Shanghai as an international port. In addition, it further optimizes and integrates its airline network layout in east China. In the summer and fall of 2016, Air China serves 36 destinations in Shanghai, of which 14 are international and regional flights and 22 are domestic.

American Airlines is getting a lot of heat because of a new ad campaign telling passengers how they should behave in airports and during flights. Another excerpt from the ad reads "They always ask before they raise and lower the window shade". American intended the ad campaign to show how "The World's Greatest Passengers" deal with the inconveniences of air travel, but a lot of people on social media see it as the airline actually lecturing passengers on how to behave.

Cathay Pacific launches non-stop flight to London Gatwick on the Airbus A350 Cathay Pacific Airways today operated a near-full flight on its brand-new, state-of-the-art Airbus A350 aircraft from Hong Kong International Airport to London’s Gatwick Airport – the latest destination in the airline’s expanding network. Flight CX343 departed Hong Kong at 00:55 and arrived at Gatwick Airport on schedule at 06:30 local time. Prior to the subsequent departure of Flight CX344, the first Cathay Pacific flight from Gatwick to Hong Kong, a ceremony was organised at the boarding gate to celebrate the special occasion with the airline’s passengers.
