قرارا بتسوٌة المإهل أصدر الفرٌق طٌار ٌونس المصرى ،وزٌر الطٌران المدنى، ً الدراسى الذى حصل علٌه الموظف أثناء العمل أو قبله ،حٌث سادت فرحة عارمة لذوى العاملٌن بوزارة الطٌران المدنى. ونص القرار بتسوٌة مإهل العاملٌن الذٌن سبق أن التحقوا بالعمل بالجهات التابعة لوزارة الطٌران المدنى ،خالل الفترة الماضٌة. من جانبهم ،أبدى جموع العاملٌن فرحتهم البالغة لهذا القرار الذى جاء فى مصلحة العاملٌن ومنظومة الطٌران المدنى ،حٌث سٌساهم فى زٌادة قوة اإلنتاج والعمل لدٌهم حٌث كانوا ٌنتظرون هذا القرار منذ فترة زمنٌة بعٌدة. وأكد العاملون وقوفهم خلف الفرٌق طٌار ٌونس المصرى ،وزٌر الطٌران المدنى، خالل الفترة القادمة ،لتطوٌر وتحدٌث منظومة الطٌران المدنى بجمٌع القطاعات والشركات التابعة للمنظومة.

قال محققون فرنسٌون ،الٌوم الجمعة ،إن حرٌقا فً قمرة القٌادة تسبب على االرجح بسقوط طائرة مصر للطٌران فً العام ،2016ما اسفر عن مقتل 66 شخصا كانوا على متنها ،وهو ما ٌتناقض مع ما أعلنه محققون مصرٌون سابقا عن عثورهم على اثار متفجرات على بقاٌا جثث الضحاٌا. وذكر مكتب حوادث الطٌران المدنً الفرنسً أن المعلومات المستقاة من تسجٌالت الرحلة األخٌرة للطائرة تشٌر إلى «وقوع حرٌق فً قمرة القٌادة ()... انتشر بسرعة ما تسبب بفقدان التحكم بالطائرة». وكانت رحلة مصر للطٌران 804المغادرة من العاصمة الفرنسٌة بارٌس قد تحطمت فً 19ماٌو 2016فوق المتوسط بعد الدخول إلى المجال الجوي المصري بعشرة أمٌال ،وعلى متنها 66شخصا بٌنهم 30مصرٌا ،و 15فرنسٌا، ولقً جمٌع ركاب الطائرة مصرعهم ،بمن فٌهم الطاقم. ولم تعلن أي جهة مسإولٌتها عن الحادث.

كشفت هٌئة التحقٌق فً حوادث الطٌران الفرنسٌة BEAتفاصٌل التحقٌقات األخٌرة حول سبب سقوط طائرة مصر للطٌران فً ماٌو 2016أثناء رحلتها من بارٌس للقاهرة. قالت الهٌئة فً بٌانها المنشور عبر موقعها ،أمس الجمعة إن الصنادٌق السوداء للطائرة سجلت حدٌث الطٌارٌن عن وجود حرٌق على متن الطائرة وأظهرت رسائل األقمار الصناعٌة دخانا كان منبعثا من الطائرة فً الحمامات.وأفاد التحقٌق الفرنسً بؤن رسالة الطوارئ بدأت فً التشغٌل ،بعد ثمانً دقائق من آخر رسالة عبر نظام جمع وإرسال تقارٌر االتصاالت فً الطائرات، وتابع التحقٌق أن بٌانات رادار أولً تابع للٌونان ،أرسلتها السلطات الٌونانٌة لهٌئة التحقٌق الفرنسٌة للمساعدة فً كشف مالبسات الحادث ،أكدت التفاف الطائرة حول نفسها ثم ارتطامها بسطح المٌاه.استنادًا إلى هذه العناصر ،اعتبر المحققون ً احتماال هً وجود حرٌق اندلع فً قمرة القٌادة أثناء الفرنسٌون أن الفرضٌة األكثر تحلٌق الطائرة وأن النار انتشرت بسرعة ،ما أدى إلى فقدان السٌطرة على الطائرة. قالت الهٌئة فً بٌانها إنها تتطلع للثبات على فرضٌة االنتشار السرٌع للحرٌق لتحدٌد آلٌات سالمة الطٌران. وٌشٌر خبراء الطٌران إلى أن تسلسل األحداث ٌرجح اشتعال بطارٌة لٌثٌوم كانت فً كمبٌوتر لوحً أو هاتف محمول ،كان على متن الطائرة.

أعلنت إدارة الطٌران المدنى الصٌنٌة ،الٌوم الجمعة ،أن مطار بكٌن الدولى الجدٌد سٌتم افتتاحه أمام حركة الطٌران بحلول نهاٌة شهر سبتمبر .2019 وقالت إدارة الطٌران المدنى الصٌنٌة ،فى بٌان ،الٌوم ،إنه سٌتم االنتهاء من تشٌٌد المطار والمرافق ذات الصلة فى ٌ 30ونٌو ،2019وذلك بعد حوالى أربع سنوات ونصف من بدء األعمال فى المطار الجدٌد. وٌقع مطار بكٌن الدولى الجدٌد – الذى سٌكون األكبر فى العالم -على بعد 46كٌلومترا جنوب وسط العاصمة بكٌن ،وسٌكون بمثابة وسٌلة لتلبٌة االحتٌاجات المتزاٌدة للنقل الجوى فى بكٌن وتعزٌز وجود الطٌران المدنى فى البالد ،حٌث سٌتضمن مناطق ركاب منفصلة للرحالت الدولٌة والمحلٌة لخلق مبنى أكثر تكامال وتقلٌل أوقات السفر.

قبل ثورة ٌ 25ناٌر لم نكن نسمع أبداً عن استقالة أى وزٌر أو محاسبة أى مسئول كبٌر على أى كوارث تقع فى نطاق مسئولٌته بل إن الموظف الشرٌف الذى سعى لكشف الفساد هو من ٌدفع الثمن ..ولكن بعد ثورة ٌناٌر أصبح الوزراء والمسئولون الكبارٌ ،طاح بهم على أى فساد أو إفساد فى وزارتهم أو تقصٌر ،وٌطاح بالوزٌر وٌؤتى غٌره والمإسف أن الوزٌر ٌطاح به باق ومعشش فى دروب الوزارات. ولكن الفساد ٍ وهذا فى رأٌى ٌإكد حقٌقة واحدة وهى أن هناك «مراكز قوى للفساد» فى تلك الوزارات تملك من اآللٌات والمفردات لكل خٌوط اللعبة ما تستطٌع به أن تسقط أٌا ً من فكر أن ٌقترب منها أو ٌظهرها بل على الفور «تستف األوراق والمستندات» وٌلبسها فى النهاٌة الغالبة من الوزراء والشرفاء الذٌن شاء حظهم التعس أن ٌؤتى بهم لوزارات عشش فٌها الفساد لسنوات طوٌلة فاقت عمر وسن أى مسئول شرٌف ٌتولى أمرها. ٌا سادة ..أقول هذا القول بعد تولى الفرٌق ٌونس المصرى وزارة الطٌران المدنى وبدء سلسلة تغٌٌرات داخل أروقة الوزارة فى محاولة لتولى دماء جدٌدة بفكر جدٌد تستكمل ما بدأه سابقوها، كل ٌ حسب إمكانٌاته وخبراته وآلٌاته والمفردات المتاحة أمامه. ومنذ تلك التغٌٌرات وألسنة الفاسدٌن تطول المسئولٌن السابقٌن بالقٌل والقال ،هذا فى الوقت الذى كانت تلك األلسنة تسبح بحمد المسئول وتطلب رضاه وهو على كرسٌه ..وأنا هنا لست بصدد الدفاع عن أحد أو تبرئة ساحة أحد ،فهناك جهات رقابٌة تلك مسئولٌتها ..ولكنى هنا أدافع عن القادم فى الطٌران المدنى ،فهذا األسلوب دأب على اتباعه مراكز قوى الفساد فى الوزارة وشركاتها التابعة من أجل تحوٌل االنتباه عن فسادهم وإفسادهم الذى عشش منذ سنوات، وكلما حاول مسئول تنظٌف الوزارة طلت تلك الرإوس الفاسدة بفسادها وإفسادها ومراكزها محاولة عرقلة أى تصحٌح مسار لوال أن المسئول الشرٌف ٌظل لها بالمرصاد ..حدث ذلك مع المهندس محمد سعٌد محروس رئٌس القابضة للمطارات والمالحة الجوٌة عندما كان رئٌسا ً لشركة مٌناء القاهرة الجوى ووصل إلى تلك المراكز وبدأ فى تفتٌتها فطالته ألسنة وأقالم الفاسدٌن والمطبالتٌة ،ولوال إصرار الرجل ونظافة ونزاهة ٌده ما استطاع الصمود أمام تلك المراكز الفاسدة التى كانت تغلب مصلحة الشركات الخارجٌة التى تدفع لها على مصلحة الشركة ،واستطاع الرجل إدارة الشركة وتبعها بتولى القابضة للمطارات والمالحة الجوٌة ومحاربة مراكز الفساد فى تلك الشركات ،وإن كان بعضها ما زال ٌلعب بذٌله ولكنه على أى حال استطاع أن ٌقطع الكثٌر منها وٌحقق أرباحا ً حقٌقٌة للشركة القابضة وتوابعها فى الموازنة المالٌة السابقة ودخل نادى الملٌارات بتحقٌق ما ٌقرب من ملٌار و 700ملٌون جنٌه.. رغم سلسلة مصروفاته الثقٌلة على المطارات الجدٌدة وتطوٌر القدٌم والصرف على المنظومة األمنٌة الجدٌدة ..كل ذلك بدعم الشرفاء فى الوزارة واألجهزة.

ومثال آخر الدكتور عادل مزروع الرئٌس السابق لمستشفى مصر للطٌران والذى حارب بمفرده فساد وإفساد عشرٌن عاما ً بالمستشفى ،وعندما وصل إلى مراكز قوى الفساد فى المستشفى حاولوا إحراق المستشفى له ولكن وألنه صاحب قضٌة وواثق من قدراته ونزاهة ٌده استطاع قطع رإوس تلك المراكز وقفز بالشركة من الخسارة الى الربحٌة محققا ً فى آخر موازنة صافى أرباح 22ملٌون جنٌه رغم االرتفاع الجنونى فى أسعار الدواء والمستلزمات الطبٌة ولكنه وألنه حارب الفساد فقد حفظ للمرٌض حقوقه ..وقد تولى المسئولٌة بعده الدكتور خالد المحمودى الذى ٌواصل منظومة محاربة مراكز قوى الفساد فى المستشفى وٌقٌنه باهلل والشرفاء الذٌن ٌتولون أمر الوزارة تحمٌه من أن تطوله تلك المراكز. سٌادة الفرٌق ٌونس المصرى ..أسرد لك تلك النماذج وغٌرها الكثٌر والكثٌر مطالبا ً سٌادتكم بدعم تلك النماذج التى تحارب مراكز قوى الفساد بقوة ونزاهة ٌدها وثقتها فى هللا وفى القٌادة التى تتولى أمرها وتساندها فى تحقٌق نجاح وتفوق على الفساد ومراكزه. الفرٌق ٌونس المصرى ..حتى سٌادتكم لم تسلم من ألسنة تلك المراكز الفاسدة الذٌن اشاعوا منذ تولٌك أنك جئت لعسكرة الطٌران المدنى ..فإذا بنزاهتك وحكمتك وقٌادتك الحكٌمة تخرس تلك األلسنة ،ألن ببساطة كل من تولى فى عهدك هم أبناء الوزارة المدنٌون ..وإذا بكل قراراتك تعطى الفرصة ألبناء القطاع لالنطالق لألفضل وكل قراراتك فى مصلحة العنصر البشرى ..فالطٌار أحمد عادل رئٌس القابضة لمصر للطٌران الجدٌد رجل ال ٌختلف على كفاءته اثنان ،ودائما ً من كان ٌقف خلف الصورة ٌؤخذ صعابها وٌتغلب علٌها بخبرته فى المجاالت الطوٌلة ..عاهدته فى أكثر من موقف وإن كانت حنكته فى التعامل مع أسر شهداء طائرة مصر للطٌران رحلة بارٌس التى سقطت فى مٌاه البحر المتوسط ..لكانت أكبر مإشر أن اإلدارة ال تحتاج فقط كتبا ً ونظرٌات وقدرات بقدر ما تحتاج قلبا ً ٌحس وعقالً واعٌا ً بمفردات مسئولٌته.

اختتمت الشركة الوطنٌة مصر للطٌران موسم العمرة لهذا العام السبت ٌ 30ونٌة بتسٌٌر 17رحلة جوٌة من مطارى جدة والمدٌنة المنورة لعودة 3500معتمر إلى مطار القاهرة الدولى. وصرح الطٌار أحمد عادل رئٌس الشركة القابضة لمصر للطٌران بؤن الشركة الوطنٌة مصر للطٌران قامت بنقل 60ألف معتمر خالل شهر رمضان فقط من المطارات السعودٌة إلى أرض الوطن بعد أداء مناسك العمرة على متن 450رحلة جوٌة كما نقلت مصر للطٌران 60 ألف معتمر أٌضا خالل عمرة شهر رجب وشعبان بؤعلى نسبة انتظام فى التشغٌل لٌصبح اجمالى المعتمرٌن الذٌن نقلتهم الشركة هذا العام 120 ألف معتمر .من ناحٌة أخرى بدأت مصر للطٌران فى االستعداد لموسم الحج حٌث ٌجرى التنسٌق مع الجهات المعنٌة لإلعالن عن مواعٌد إصدار تذاكر الحج وإعداد جداول تشغٌل الرحالت بالتنسٌق مع الجانب السعودى.

Capacity climbed 5.9% and load factor rose 0.1 percentage point to 80.1%. "May was another solid month in terms of demand growth. As had been expected, we saw some moderation, as rising airline costs are reducing the stimulus from lower airfares. In particular, jet fuel prices are expected to be up nearly 26% this year compared to 2017. Nevertheless, the record load factor for the month signifies that demand for air connectivity is strong," said Alexandre de Juniac, IATA's Director General and CEO. International Passenger Markets International passenger traffic demand rose 5.8%, which was up from 4.6% growth in April. All regions recorded growth, led by Asia-Pacific airlines. Total capacity climbed 5.4%, with load factor rising 0.3 percentage point to 78.7%.

North American airlines' traffic rose 4.9% in May compared to May 2017, a strong rebound from 0.9% annual growth in April (which was a 36month low). Capacity climbed 3.4% and load factor increased 1.2 percentage points to 82.0%. Given the comparatively strong US domestic economy, April's weak demand performance likely was more reflective of unfavorable year-to-year comparisons with April 2017, when the current upsurge in growth began. Latin American airlines experienced a 7.5% increase in traffic in May compared to the same month last year, which was up from 6.5% growth in April. Capacity climbed 7.0% and load factor rose 0.4 percentage points to 81.6%. Economic disruption in Brazil may be contributing to a slight slowdown in demand growth in recent months, but this is not expected to have a long-term impact on the healthy traffic trend. African airlines' traffic rose 3.8% in May compared to the year-ago period, which was an 8-month low. Capacity rose 3.2% and load factor edged up 0.4 percentage point to 66.4%. The region's two largest economies, Nigeria and South Africa, may be moving in opposite directions again, with higher oil prices bolstering the Nigerian economy, while business confidence in South Africa has weakened again.

US domestic traffic experienced a mild pick-up in May, with 5.5% year-over-year traffic growth, up from 5.3% in April. This partly offset the moderate growth in China and India. Domestic traffic is trending upward at an annualized rate of around 7%, helped by the comparatively strong US economy.

The A320, operating a service from Paris to Cairo on 19 May 2016, departed from its cruise altitude of 37,000ft and came down in the Mediterranean Sea. Evidence from debris, the cockpit-voice recorder, and avionics systems on the jet back up the “most likely” theory that a rapidly-developing cockpit fire led to the accident, says French investigation authority BEA. But the Egyptian probe declared, seven months after the crash, that it had discovered traces of explosives on human remains. This led the inquiry to pursue instead the possibility that sabotage brought down the aircraft, and required investigators to transfer jurisdiction entirely to the Egyptian criminal and legal authorities – to the detriment, the BEA claims, of the fire probe. “[Our] proposals concerning further work on the debris and recorded data were not, as far as the BEA knows, followed up,” says the French agency. “The technical elements of the investigation already collected by Egypt, including those provided by the BEA, are protected by the Egyptian judicial investigation.” The BEA has pressed for the safety investigation to be maintained, and it met with the Egyptian attorney general in May.

It says Egyptian investigators have not published a final report which would have allowed the BEA to lay down its “differences of opinion”, as permitted by air accident investigation procedures. “The BEA considers that the most likely hypothesis is the rapid spread of a fire and would like investigations into this hypothesis to be continued in the interests of aviation safety,” it adds. Production of the final report, says the BEA, is “necessary” to understand the cause of the accident and to develop measures or safety proposals aimed at prevention. Egyptian judicial authorities remain in charge of the inquiry. Should Egyptian investigators opt to restart the safety probe, the BEA says it will be “ready to continue” collaborating with their efforts. Investigation agencies have previously clashed with Egyptian authorities over the cause of high-profile air accidents. Egypt’s civil aviation ministry focused on technical problems in the inquiry into a Flash Airlines Boeing 737-300 crash at Sharm el-Sheikh in January 2004, while the US National Transportation Safety Board and the BEA each stressed that evidence pointed to spatial disorientation from the crew. NTSB investigators also disputed suggestions that technical failures brought down an EgyptAir Boeing 767-300ER off the US east coast in October 1999, when evidence pointed to deliberate actions by the aircraft’s first officer.

Airbus claims that the flexibility of the Airbus A330neo makes it a strong candidate to replace the aging fleet of Boeing 767s and other widebodies at US carriers. Airlines can customise the A330neo family, which includes the -800 and -900, to have lower maximum takeoff weights (MTOW) or a lower thrust rating that, while also reducing the range of the aircraft, reduces the operating costs, says Peter Finn, A330 family product marketing manager for customer affairs at Airbus, speaking with FlightGlobal onboard the US leg from Chicago to Atlanta of the A330neo's global route proving tour. "If you combine lower takeoff weight with the thrust, you can lower the cash operating cost by 5%," he says. The A330-800 can carry 257 passengers in a standard three-class configuration up to 8,150nm, and the A330900 287 passengers up to 7,200nm, Airbus says. Flexibility will be key for Airbus to win 767 replacement orders from the likes of Delta Air Lines and United Airlines. Both are looking for a midsized aircraft that are optimised to transatlantic distances to replace their 757 and 767 fleets in the 2020s.

2 www.flightglobal.com "We want to have range, capacity, [but] we don't want it overbuilt," said Ed Bastian, chief executive of Atlanta-based Delta, speaking on what the carrier wants from a replacement for both its Boeing 757300s and 767s at the National Press Club in Washington DC at the end of June. "Sometimes an aircraft has too much capability, and too much range and actually becomes more expensive and it's sub-optimal for what your mission needs are," he said. Delta configures its 79 767s, including both -300ERs and -400ERs, with 208-261 seats. The average stage length for its 767s is 3,433nm, FlightGlobal schedules data shows. Both the A330neo variants are larger and with more than enough range for Delta's average 767 mission, begging the question of whether it is too much aircraft for these missions. Despite these questions, Delta is the only US carrier with orders for the A330neo, with the first of 25 A330-900s due to begin arriving in 2019. When it ordered the aircraft in 2014, executives said the A330neo would replace 767s, though Bastian's more recent comments suggest this may have changed. "We are here to replace our own aircraft and compete with the 787," says Silvia Ustupska, A330 marketing manager for customer affairs at Airbus, on the flight. "We would also like to replace 767s and 777200ERs." Delta's use for the A330-900s could range from growth to replacing anything from 767s, to older A330s in its fleet or even some of its 777200s. United, which is also evaluating replacement options for its 127 757s and 767s, is looking for something firmly in the middle of the market. It already operates 37 787s, including both the -8 and -9, and has ordered 45 Airbus A350-900s to replace some of its 777-200s.

3 www.flightglobal.com "Our 767 and 757 replacement strategy… it will be a multi-faceted solution," said Gerry Laderman, acting chief financial officer and treasurer of the Chicago-based carrier, told FlightGlobal in a June interview. A presentation by Laderman earlier in 2018 shows that it is considering an array of aircraft for this need, including the A330neo, 787 and Boeing's proposed New Mid-market Airplane (NMA) for the segment. The NMA family will seat 220-270 passengers with a range of roughly 5,000nm (9,260km) when it enters service, which Boeing forecasts by 2025. These capabilities straddle the mid-market segment where both Delta and United operate their 757s and 767s. Airbus offers its A321LR, a long-range version of the A321neo, as a replacement for 757s that fly longer missions over the Atlantic and to South America. Delta has discussed launching the NMA with Boeing, Bastian said last week, though the airline is known for pitting airframers against each other in fierce campaigns for orders. United has discussed the NMA with Boeing, though executives have not gone as far as to say it could launch the programme. The airline is a frequent Boeing customer with close ties to the airframer. Representatives of United were on the A330neo tour flight from Chicago to Atlanta, and representatives of Delta were expected to see the aircraft on the ground at the Atlanta airport. Flexibility and optimisation to the mid-market segment are key to Airbus landing 767 replacement orders from Delta and United. Especially after the airframer lost the first such campaign from American Airlines, with the airline ordering 47 787-8s and -9s to replace its A330-300s, 767-300ERs and some of its older 777-200s earlier this year. Airbus intends to deliver the first A330-900 to TAP Portugal this summer with entry-into-service by the end of the year. The airframer plans to begin flight tests of the A330-800, which notably lacks any orders, with certification targetted for 2019, says Ustupska.

1 www.ch-aviation.com Boeing inks deal for Embraer's commercial aircraft business Following rival Airbus's takeover of the C-Series product from Bombardier on July 1, Boeing has announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Embraer for the formation of a joint venture comprising the Brazilian manufacturer's commercial aircraft and services business. In a statement announcing the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Embraer, Boeing said the JV would strategically align with its commercial development, production, marketing and lifecycle services operations. Under the terms of the non-binding agreement, Boeing will hold an 80% ownership stake in the joint venture valued at USD3.8 billion with Embraer owning the remaining 20%, valued at USD950 million. "By forging this strategic partnership, we will be ideally positioned to generate significant value for both companies' customers, employees and shareholders – and for Brazil and the United States," Dennis Muilenburg, Boeing's Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, said in a statement. "This important partnership clearly aligns with Boeing's long-term strategy of investing in organic growth and returning value to shareholders, complemented by strategic arrangements that enhance and accelerate our growth plans." He added that Boeing and Embraer would benefit from a broader scale, resources and footprint, including global supply chain, sales and marketing, and services network, which would enable them to capture benefits from best-in-class efficiencies across the organizations. Additionally, the strategic partnership would provide opportunities to share best practices in manufacturing and across development programs.

2 www.ch-aviation.com The joint venture would become one of Boeing's centres of excellence for end-to-end design, manufacturing, and support of commercial passenger aircraft, and would be fully integrated into Boeing's broader production and supply chain.
Boeing and the joint venture would be positioned to offer a comprehensive, highly complementary commercial airplane portfolio that ranges from 70 seats to more than 450 seats and freighters, offering best-in-class products and services to better serve the global customer base. In addition, both companies will create another joint venture to promote and develop new markets and applications for defense products and services, especially the KC-390 multi-mission aircraft, based on jointly-identified opportunities. On finalization, the commercial aviation joint venture will be led by Brazil-based management, including a President and Chief Executive Officer. Boeing will have operational and management control of the new company, which will report directly to Muilenburg. Finalization of the financial and operational details of the strategic partnership and negotiation of definitive transaction agreements are expected to continue in the coming months. Upon execution of these agreements, the transaction would then be subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals, including approval from the Government of Brazil, as well as other customary closing conditions. Assuming the approvals are received in a timely manner, the transaction is expected to close by the end of 2019, 12-18 months after execution of the definitive agreements.

Air Belgium mulls adding freighter aircraft in the future Air Belgium (KF, Brussels Charleroi) is evaluating adding full-freighter aircraft in the future as cargo is an important part of the start-up's revenue projections, Cargo Manager Europe Pascale Demieter has told CargoForwarder Global. Demieter has refused to elaborate on the plan and has underlined that no firm decisions have been taken yet. The Belgian start-up has recently launched its maiden scheduled route, connecting Brussels Charleroiwith Hong Kong Int'l. The airline currently operates two A340-300s and plans to add a further two units of the type imminently. Given the Airbus quadjets' large bellyhold cargo capacity, freight is already an important part of Air Belgium's business model. However, the airline has stressed that cargo revenues are seen just as an addition to the underlying profitability of the passenger operations. Once the carrier decides to launch full-cargo operations, it would most likely also focus on Far Eastern Asian traffic. Air Belgium intends to establish a feeding network using trucks (RFS) as it had earlier ruled out launching its own European flights. The carrier intends to keep Charleroi as its base, also for the prospective cargo operations, and hopes to benefit from its superior efficiency and shorter handling times in comparison to Brussels National. Liège, an airport focused on cargo services, is not under consideration as an additional Air Belgium base
