وصلت مطار القاهرة الدولى رحلة مصرٌة خاصة استثنائٌة قادمة من العاصمة النٌجٌرٌة أبوجا وعلى متنها 60مصر ًٌا من العالقٌن هناك ،بعد قرار تعلٌق وقف الطٌران ضمن خطة الدولة لمواجهة انتشار فٌروس كورونا المستجد. وقالت مصادر مطلعة بالمطار ،وصلت الطائرة المصرٌة من أبوجا وعلى متنها 60 مصر ًٌا من العاملٌن بشركات المقاوالت التى تنفذ مشارٌع فى نٌجٌرٌا ،وقامت سلطات الحجر الصحً بالمطار تحت إشراف الدكتور حازم حسٌن مدٌر الحجر الصحً بالمطار بتوقٌع الكشف الطبً علً العالقٌن المصرٌٌن ،وتم إنهاء إجراءات وصولهم وخروجهم من صالة الوصول إلى أماكن للحجر الصحى بالقاهرة للتأكد من خلوهم من فٌروس كورونا المستجدة والتى تستمر اإلقامة بها ٌ 14وما. ٌذكر أن الشركة الوطنٌة مصر للطٌران سٌرت رحالت دولٌة إلى السعودٌة والكوٌت ولندن وسلطنة عمان وأمرٌكا لنقل المصرٌٌن الراغبٌن فً العودة من الخارج بعد توقف حركة الطٌران بسبب قرار الحظر لمواجهة انتشار فٌروس كورونا المستجد، وكانت سلطة الطٌران المدنى المصرٌة أعلنت توقف حركة الطٌران المدنً بمصر، سواء القادم أو المغادر من المطارات المصرٌة منذ 19مارس الماضى ،واستثنى الخطاب 5حاالت من التعلٌق ،منها رحالت الشحن الجوي ،ورحالت الشارتر لتتمكن من عودة األفواج السٌاحٌة بعد انتهاء برامجهم دون استقدام أفواج جدٌدة ،ورحالت اإلسعاف الدولٌة والرحالت الداخلٌة داخل الدولة. االدارة العامة للعالقات العامة والمراسم قطاع االمانة العامة بالشركة القابضة لمصر للطٌران

غادرت مطار القاهرة الدولً ،الٌوم األربعاء ،رحلة شركة مصر للطٌران االستثنائٌة، فً طرٌقها إلى مدٌنة تورونتو ب كندا ،وعلى متنها 350كندٌا لبالدهم ،وذلك بالتعاون مع السفارة الكندٌة بمصر ،فً ظل تعلٌق رحالت الطٌران إلى المطارات المصرٌة بسبب فٌروس كورونا المستجد. من جانبه ،قدم السفٌر الكندي بالقاهرة جٌس داتون ،الشكر إلى شركة مصر للطٌران ، على جهودها المبذولة وتعاونها مع السفارة الكندٌة من أجل تنظٌم هذه الرحلة االستثنائٌة لعودة المواطنٌن الكندٌٌن إلى بالدهم فً ظل تعلٌق رحالت الطٌران بٌن مختلف دول العالم ،بسبب فٌروس كورونا المستجد ،الذي ضرب العدٌد من بلدان دول العالم ،وتسبب فً وقف الطٌران بٌن البلدان. كانت سفارة كندا بالقاهرة ،دعت عبر حسابها الرسمً على مواقع التواصل االجتماعً ،المواطنٌن الكندٌٌن المتواجدٌن بالقاهرة الراغبٌن فً العودة إلى بالدهم ،سرعة تسجٌل بٌاناتهم حتى ٌتمكنوا من العودة علً الرحلة المصرٌة التً غادرت ،وذلك بالتعاون مع مصر للطٌران ،فٌما أدرج الشركة مواعٌد الرحلة ،على موقعها. وكانت السفارة األمرٌكٌة بالقاهره توجهت بالشكر إلى الشركة الوطنٌة القابضة مصر للطٌران ،بسبب توفٌر عدد من الرحالت االستثنائٌة لنقل العالقٌن األمرٌكان من القاهرة ،ومن بعض الدول إلى الوالٌات المتحدة األمرٌكٌة . االدارة العامة للعالقات العامة والمراسم قطاع االمانة العامة بالشركة القابضة لمصر للطٌران

لوفتهانزا تغلق شركة طٌران تابعة لها :الصناعة لن تتعافى قبل سنوات أعلنت مجموعة لوفتهانزا للطٌران عن تخفٌض حجم أسطولها بشكل دائم وإغالق إحدى شركات الطٌران منخفضة التكلفة التابعة لها ،محذرة من أن قطاع الطٌران سٌستغرق سنوات للتعافً من جائحة فٌروس كورونا. وقالت مجموعة شركات الطٌران ،التً تمتلك ناقالت وطنٌة فً ألمانٌا وسوٌسرا والنمسا وبلجٌكا ،فً بٌان ٌوم الثالثاء ،إنها ستوقف تشغٌل 43طائرة على األقل بشكل دائم ،أي حوالً :6من أسطولها ،وستعلق رحالت شركة طٌرانها منخفضة التكلفة، "جٌرمان وٌنغز". وتعتقد لوفتهانزا أنه "سٌستغرق األمر شهوراً حتى ترفع قٌود السفر العالمٌة تماماً، وسنوات عدة حتى ٌعود الطلب العالمً على السفر بالطائرة إلى مستوٌات ما قبل األزمة". وبناء على تقدٌراتها ،قررت لوفتهانزا "اتخاذ إجراءات واسعة النطاق للحد من قدرة عملٌات الطٌران واإلدارة على المدى الطوٌل". وٌهدد حظر الطٌران وعملٌات إغالق المدن على الصعٌد العالمً بإفالس شركات الطٌران حول العالم ،إذ أوقفت شركات الطٌران حتى اآلن آالف الطائرات ،وع ّلقت جداول الرحالت قصٌرة األجل ،وفرضت على الموظفٌن إجازات غٌر مدفوعة. وستوقف لوفتهانزا تشغٌل 13طائرة إٌرباص و 5طائرات بوٌنغ من طراز 400-747 بشكل دائم ،كما ستوقف 11طائرة إٌرباص A320أخرى عن عملٌات النقل لمسافات قصٌرة .وتقول الشركة إن هذه اإلجراءات ستقلل من السعة فً مقرات لوفتهانزا فً فرانكفورت ومٌونخ.

كما ستتوقف عملٌات "جٌرمان وٌنغز" ،مع تعلٌق 10طائرات A320أخرى من أسطول "ٌورووٌنغز" .كذلك ستخفض أساطٌل "لوفتهنزا سٌتً الٌن" بشكل دائم، وهً شركة طٌران إقلٌمٌة تقوم بتشغٌل الرحالت إلى الوجهات السٌاحٌة ،كذلك أساطٌل الخطوط الجوٌة النمساوٌة وخطوط بروكسل الجوٌة. وستعدل الخطوط الجوٌة السوٌسرٌة الدولٌة حجم أسطولها من خالل تأخٌر تسلٌم الطائرات الجدٌدة قصٌرة المدى وربما التخلص التدرٌجً من الطائرات القدٌمة قبل الموعد المحدد. وقالت الشركة إنها ستنظم محادثات مع النقابات ومجالس العمال لمناقشة "نماذج التوظٌف الجدٌدة من أجل الحفاظ على أكبر عدد ممكن من الوظائف".

لماذا تس ٌِّر شركات الطٌران رحالت فارغة تماما ً من الركاب؟
مع انتشار فٌروس كورونا حول العالم وتحوله لوباء تكرس الدول مواردها الحتوائه قدر المستطاع واللجوء لخفض حركة المواطنٌن حول العالم والتزام منازلهم ،تعرض قطاع الطٌران المدنً لضربة كبٌرة أدت بالفعل إلفالس بعض شركات الطٌران ،وال تزال الصورة غٌر واضحة بشأن المدى الزمنً الستمرار حالة اإلغالق. وقد توقعت الهٌئة الدولٌة للنقل الجوي أن تخسر شركات الطٌران حول العالم نحو 113ملٌار دوالر هذا العام بفعل تأثٌر تفشً وباء كورونا ،وكانت أولى الضحاٌا شركة فالٌبً البرٌطانٌة التً أعلنت إفالسها الخمٌس 5مارس/آذار الماضً. لكن شركات الطٌران التً ترٌد الحفاظ على خطوط رحالتها الحالٌة ومواعٌد إقالعها وهبوطها فً المطارات حول العالم مضطرة لتسٌٌر رحالت فً تلك المواعٌد بسبب قانون ،20-80وهو القانون المنظم لحركة إقالع وهبوط الرحالت فً المطارات حول العالم. تابع

قانون أو قاعدة الـ 20-80هً نتٌجة لكٌفٌة إدارة المطارات حول العالم للمدرجات المتاحة لدى كل منها بسبب طاقتها االستٌعابٌة التً تعتبر محدودة مقارنة بعدد شركات الطٌران والرحالت ،فلجأ أكثر 200مطار زحاما ً حول العالم إلجراء ٌشبه المزاد العلنً بٌن شركات الطٌران لتخصٌص تلك المدرجات ،وٌحصل علٌها من ٌدفع أكثر. وكً تحافظ كل شركة طٌران على حق استعمال طائراتها لمدرجات أي مطار لإلقالع والهبوط ،فهً ملزمة بتشغٌلها فعلٌا ً بنسبة %80على األقل سنوٌاً ،وإذا انخفضت تلك النسبة تقوم إدارة المطارات بتأجٌر حق االستعمال لشركة منافسة. هذه القاعدة بالطبع فً ظل كارثة كورونا وتوقف حركة السفر بصورة شبه كلٌة أصبحت مثاراً لالنتقاد ،لذلك قام وزٌر النقل البرٌطانً غرانت شابس بإرسال خطاب لمنظمً حركة الطٌران المدنً ألخذ الظروف االستثنائٌة فً االعتبار وتخفٌف تلك القاعدة أو تأجٌلها ،وكان ذلك فً األسبوع األول من مارس/آذار. وبالفعل اتخذت المفوضٌة األوروبٌة قراراً بتأجٌل تطبٌق قاعدة 20-80الستخدام المطارات حتى ٌونٌو/حزٌران القادم بسبب ظروف تفشً الوباء ،وهو القرار الذي رحبت به هٌئة النقل الجوي الدولٌة (إٌاتا) ومقرها جنٌف ،لكن الهٌئة الدولٌة اعتبرت أن فترة التأجٌل لٌست كافٌة ،وتطالب بتمدٌدها حتى أكتوبر/تشرٌن األول المقبل على األقل ،وناشدت المفوضٌة األوروبٌة باتخاذ قرار تمدٌد التأجٌل قبل نهاٌة إبرٌل/نٌسان الجاري بحد أقصى حتى تتمكن شركات الطٌران من إعداد خطط التشغٌل مبكراً. ال أحد ٌمكنه التنبؤ بالطبع بالمدى الزمنً الذي سٌستمر فٌه تف ِّ شً الوباء حول العالم أو متى ٌمكن اتخاذ قرارات إنهاء قرارات الحظر المنزلً والتباعد االجتماعً ومن ثم إعادة تشغٌل المطارات وعودة حركة الطٌران ،فحتى الٌوم الثالثاء 7أبرٌل/نٌسان تخطت أعداد المصابٌن بعدوى فٌروس كورونا 1357000حالة وعدد الوفٌات تخطى 75500وفاة. االدارة العامة للعالقات العامة والمراسم قطاع االمانة العامة بالشركة القابضة لمصر للطٌران

flydubai Cargo continues to enable the movement of vital goods in the region
flydubai has allocated six Next-Generation Boeing 737800 aircraft to operate as all-cargo flights to enable the movement of essential goods across its network and beyond. This follows the temporarily suspension of passenger operations as part of the precautionary measures announced by the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) and the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) in the UAE. flydubai is utilising the cargo hold capacity in its passenger aircraft and has been working with the authorities to increase its cargo capabilities by allowing cargo in the cabin to a number of destinations.

Etihad Airways to test airport technology to help identify medically at-risk travelers
Etihad Airways will partner with Australian company Elenium Automation to trial new technology which allows self-service devices at airports to be used to help identify travelers with medical conditions, potentially including the early stages of COVID-19. Etihad will be the first airline to trial the technology, which can monitor the temperature, heart rate and respiratory rate of any person using an airport touchpoint such as a check-in or information kiosk, a bag drop facility, a security point or immigration gate. .

The Elenium system will automatically suspend the selfservice check-in or bag drop process if a passenger‟s vital signs indicate potential symptoms of illness. It will then divert to a teleconference or alert qualified staff on site, who can make further assessments and manage travelers as appropriate. In partnership with Amazon Web Services, Elenium has also developed „hands free‟ technologies that enable touchless use of self-service devices through voice recognition, further minimizing the potential of any viral or bacterial transmission. Air Canada to apply for federal wage subsidies Air Canada is seeking newly available federal wage subsidies for 36,000 domestic employees, including roughly 16,500 workers who have already lost their jobs. The Montreal-based carrier has also expanded a costcutting programme and borrowed additional funds in response to the coronavirus crisis, it said on 8 April.
The airline will apply for the funds via the “Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy” programme, which has made C$71 billion ($50.6 billion) available to companies that have seen revenue decline by at least 30% due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The programme reimburses up to 75% of employees‟ salaries, to a maximum of C$847 weekly, according to the government‟s website. Air Canada announced the 16,500 job cuts on 30 March, and the Canadian government passed its coronavirus relief package on 1 April. Air Canada has cut other senior executives‟ salaries 2550%, and trimmed managers‟ salaries 10%, it says.

Airbus cuts aircraft production by a third as 60 jets stay undelivered
Airbus is cutting monthly production of single- and twin-aisle aircraft by about a third, slashing output of A320s to just 40 aircraft. It is taking monthly production of A350s down to six and A330s down to two. “With these new rates, Airbus preserves its ability to meet customer demand while protecting its ability to further adapt as the global market evolves,” says the company. The airframer has revealed that 60 aircraft were produced during the first quarter but remain undelivered as a result of the coronavirus crisis, notably because travel restrictions have prevented crews and other personnel from arriving to pick up the aircraft.

Airbus managed to deliver 122 aircraft over the first three months of 2020, down from 162 last year. Only 36 were delivered in March. “This reflects customer requests to defer deliveries, as well as other factors related to the ongoing [coronavirus] pandemic,” says the airframer. Airbus took net orders for 290 aircraft in the first quarter of which 21 were secured in March. “The impact of this pandemic is unprecedented,” says chief executive Guillaume Faury. “Protecting our people and supporting the fight against the virus are our chief priorities at this time.” Airbus says it is working with its social partners to define the “most appropriate” social measures to adapt to the situation. Boeing Working On Another Software Update For The 737 MAX Boeing confirmed late on Tuesday that it will make two new software updates to its 737 MAX‟s flight control computer. The aircraft manufacturer said the updates were not related to the systems that faulted in the two fatal crashes that saw the plane grounded a little over a year ago.
Two more software issues This is the latest in a series of updates and upgrades performed by Boeing to get its best-selling aircraft model re-certified. Boeing was originally set to resolve problems with the plane‟s MCAS software that was identified as the culprit in the fatal crashes. However, a host of other software issues have come to light during the plane‟s grounding.

According to Reuters, one issue involves hypothetical faults in the flight control computer microprocessor, which could potentially lead to a loss of control known as a runaway stabilizer. The other issue could potentially lead to disengagement of the autopilot feature during final approach. Runaway stabilizer and autopilot disconnect A “runaway stabilizer” occurs when an uncommanded movement of a panel on the aircraft‟s tail points the plane‟s nose downward. This particular technical issue with the 737 MAX was discovered by the FAA on the 26th of June last year. Boeing said that the issue with the potential autopilot disconnect during approach already had flight deck alerts and warnings in place to alert the crew, should it occur in flight. Other issues that Boeing has discovered during the grounding has included the prevention of flight-control computers from powering up and verifying they are ready for flight. Another one caused a fault with the warning light that tell pilots when the trim system, a part of the plane that can lift or lower the aircraft‟s nose, isn‟t working.

New updates not related to MCAS Boeing said that neither of the new updates are related to the key system known as the Maneuvering Characteristics Augmentation System, (MCAS), the system that was considered to be at fault in the fatal crashes of Lion Air in October 2018, and Ethiopian Airlines in March 2019. The MCAS is a flight control law that is supposed to prevent the pilot from inadvertently pull the plane up too steeply by pushing down the nose of the plane automatically if detecting an elevated angle of attack with flaps up in manual mode.

The MCAS has, for very understandable reasons, been given its own whole set of upgrades. It will now require two sensors to agree in order to be activated and pilots will be able to deactivate the system. It will then not be able to automatically reactivate, as it did at least 20 times in the Lion Air crash . Scheduled test flight pushed back to May As reported by RFI, a scheduled key test flight for the 737 MAX has been pushed back by a month until May. This new delay in restoring the plane to service comes as Boeing is facing great financial loss not only from the grounding of its top-seller but also from the impact of the shut-down of its factories. The crisis has seen Boeing close down US commercial plane manufacturing operations, and is hitting its customers, the airlines, devastating final blows by the day. But even once the test flight will have been approved, there is still the requirements for the pilot and crew training for the upgraded MAX to be settled upon. One of the major updates involves the flight handling system that has been indicated to have played a part in the fatal crashes leading to the grounding of the aircraft. Boeing still believes that regulatory approval will be achieved by mid-2020 and that the plane will be back in the air shortly thereafter.

Coronavirus – A Death Sentence For The Airbus A380? The current coronavirus pandemic has, unfortunately, claimed many human lives. However, it appears that the crisis could also be speeding up the end of the Airbus A380. Indeed, for one airline, the crisis has already forced a number of A380s into early retirement.
The Airbus A380 is an interesting aircraft. Many across the aviation community love it, either for its unique looks, or the comfort it provides passengers. However, in a time were environmental considerations and profit margins are king, airlines were already looking to retire the type prior to the current crisis. Now a huge fall in demand is exasperating the situation.

A speedy exit? Around the globe, many Airbus A380 operators are grounding their flying giants. With the exception of a few high demand rescue routes, such as New Zealand to Germany, there is insufficient demand to fill the 500 plus seats of the A380. As such, the obvious candidate to be grounded first was the A380. After all, why fly a half-empty A380 when you could fly a full Boeing 777? This is the exact problem that has led to Lufthansa, Germany‟s flag carrier, immediately and permanently decommissioning six Airbus A380s.

The airline justified this action by saying “the environmental
as well as economic disadvantages of these aircraft types” must be taken into consideration. The future of the aircraft type While it‟s impossible to say exactly what will happen to the Airbus A380 going forward, we could see fleets returning to the skies with fewer of the type. It is likely that the type won‟t be retired any time soon, as it provides the backbone of the Emirates fleet; the airline currently has 115 of the type. However, most if not all of Emirates‟ Airbus A380s are currently grounded. At the Dubai Airshow, Sheikh Ahmed, CEO of the Emirates Group, told Simple Flying that the new Dubai World Central Airport was being built around the Airbus A380. Other airlines had already begun to retire the Airbus A380 prior to the current crisis facing the aviation industry. In fact, two Airbus A380s previously operated by Singapore Airlines have already been torn apart. These two aircraft were the first two commercial aircraft of the type built by Airbus.

Lufthansa Group confirms germanwings' closure
Lufthansa Group has confirmed it will indeed shutter its germanwings (4U, Cologne/Bonn) AOC as part of a set of measures aimed at cutting costs across the group's various airlines. Following a board meeting on Tuesday, April 7, the German holding said only that germanwings' flight operations would be discontinued in an effort to consolidate the number of AOCs Eurowings (EW, Düsseldorf Int'l) uses into one. "The implementation of Eurowings' objective of bundling flight operations into only one unit, which was defined before the crisis, will now be accelerated," it said in a statement. "Germanwings' flight operations will be discontinued. All options resulting from this are to be discussed with the respective unions." .

Trade unions and worker associations such as VC, UFO, Verdi, IGL/TGL and ACA had jointly appealed to management to safeguard germanwings jobs earlier on Monday. According to the ch-aviation fleets advanced module, germanwings operates twenty-two A319-100s and six A320-200s all for Eurowings (EW, Düsseldorf Int'l) and all of which will be added to Eurowings' AOC. As Lufthansa group's low-cost subsidiary, Eurowings also draws service from its wholly-owned subsidiary Eurowings Europe (E2, Vienna) in Austria (nine A319-100s and ten A320-200s) and LGW - Luftfahrtgesellschaft Walter (HE, Dortmund) (sixteen Dash 8-400s) which is a sister carrier of logistics firm Zeitfracht-Gruppe's WDL Aviation (WH, Cologne/Bonn). In tandem with its capacity rationalisation, Eurowings' headcount is also expected to be reduced in line with the reshaping of its network to focus on short- and mediumhaul routes.
