SSD Post Scrub Process:

Summary:

Overall the Kingspec KSD-ZF18.1-128MJ with the Jmicron 602B controller does show a large improvement over a standard Hard Drive. Specifically in drive access time, CPU utilization and Read access times. The improved improv sustained read access times allow for faster performance after startup and quicker acc access ess times when starting applications. The test unit did not experience the normal delay after startup while Windows finished loading. Reported LAG time experienced with the Jmicron 601 601\602A controller was not experienced perienced in testing, although random r write times are slower than a traditional drive. During testing no “delays� or LAG were noticed in Real World or Diagnostic testing related to drive access times. Battery life was improved by approximately 10 10-12% 12% when using an SSD due to lower voltage use and lower l processor usage.
