The story behind the ‘strings’ These four beautiful and talented young women studied at the most renowned conservatories in the world. Conductor Jan Ceulemans brought them together for the world première at the Queen Elisabeth Hall in Antwerp. The rest is history, under his management prestigious concerts followed very quickly in the most famous venues in the world. The Exclusive Strings Melissa Schaak (Canada) 1st violin
Melissa completed her musical studies in Canada (WLU) with the Penderecki String Quartet as well as at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, receiving Honours Bachelors of Music in violin performance and a diploma in chamber music. She maintains an active career on the classical stage however her musical passion lies in working with cultural ensembles as well as playing and recording for various rock, pop, and experimental artists.
Larissa Lismont (BELGIUM) 2ND VIOLIN
In September 2001 Larissa successfully passed the entrance exam for the Royal Conservatory of Music of Liège. There, she studied under Madame I. Okubo, and in June 2007 she received her diploma for the violin. Larissa is fond of… Rihanna, Beyoncé, Robbie Williams and Christina Aguilera. But she is also equally fond of Vadim Repin, Joshua Bell and Yehudi Menuhin.
Maryna Lepiasevich (Russia) viola
In 2007, Maryna moved to Bruxelles upon successfully passing the entrance exams at the Royal Conservatory of Bruxelles, in the class of Paul De Clerck. She loves being a musician, and enjoys many different styles of music such as jazz, latin, r&b and classical. Maryna also enjoys focussing some of her time towards a career in the modelling business.
Tamara Savich (Serbia) cello
Tamara Savich studied cello at the Cleveland Institut of Music, Harid Conservatory (USA) with the most known professors such as Ronald Leonard, Aldo Parisotto... She is the winner of several international competitions,among them Laureat of Sarasota Music Competition (USA) and 1st prize at the KOCIAN cello competition in Czech Republic. Besides music, she was involved in democratic revolution in her country, dreaming to become a ministry of culture of Serbia someday, she loves Fellini, Emir Kusturica, Balkan music, Alexander the Great, and... CHOCOLATE!
