Eirianwen Morris Jones

I was born as Eirianwen Morris, from the Bro Ddyfi Valley, on a 60 acre farm to a Welsh Farming Morris Family at Fferm yr Hendre Farm, Mallwyd, educated at Minllyn Primary School, Dinas Mawddwy, Ysgol y Gader, Dolgellau, Montgomeryshire Technical College, Newtown, and Denbighshire Technical College Wrexham for 3 year course studied IMA in Business Studies, Hotel Management, Nutrition & Catering. I have lived in Llanfair Caereinion for the past 38 years. My Mother was born in Cwmnantyreira, & her father's brother was the famous Dic Jones to many. When I was 19 years of age my parents decided to move to live to their other farm at 'Hendy' Llangadfan, which they had owned since I was 6 years young, but tradgedy struck, my father died suddenly at only 52 years young within the 12 months of the move. Hendy Farm House was in need of renovating, following this, I helped on the farm and also had a fulltime job. Hard times lied ahead, a new bungalow was built on Hendy farm land, and I created its name to 'Maes Hen
