Organizational skills and situational effectiveness are a set of skills that combine getting the job done with relationship building When you see an opportunity do you jump on it or do you see obstacles to your success? It is understanding the cultural environment and the people sitting at the table and their hidden agendas It is taking advantage of opportunities even with obstacles and tight deadlines How you use synergies How you relate to people/teams and build relationships across the organization especially when you do not like them How emotionally intelligent is your communication skills including your non-verbal communication How you handle high tension situations and exhibit diplomacy and tact How open and approachable are you and do you allow for diversity How do you get your information - are you networked in and connected? How you use your influence
