Mixed markings on gloves due to the new PPE regulation After 21 April 2019 the new EU regulation 2016/425 will be fully implemented. Customers will receive a mix of products with markings according to the previous Directive 89/686/EEC and the new Regulation (EU) 2016/425 for a time being, depending on our stock level. Remember, the glove performances are the same, the only change is the marking.

EN 388 TEST RESULTS INFORMATION All TEGERA® protective gloves against mechanical risks have been re-tested according to the updated standard EN 388:2016. It’s important to understand that test methods have changed and therefore glove rating may differ, although the glove performance will remain the same. TEGERA® gloves keep the same high quality as before, and the performance of gloves when used will not change.

In the revised version of EN 388:2016, there are two cut resistance test available. The coup method is the same as before and is used for materials that do not dull the blade. For materials that will affect the blade, e.g. most cut resistant materials, TDM test is required. In these cases, the TDM result is the real reference performance while the coup result is only indicative and will therefore be marked with an X. EN 388:2016 – TESTING

The highly succesful TEGERA® 909 is now available in new colours. We present three ultra-thin, cut-resistant TEGERA® gloves made with Dyneema® Diamond Technology, which provides superior dexterity and fingertip sensitivity. Three gloves made for precision work in different types of environments.

Gloves made with Dyneema® Diamond Technology achieve the same cut performance as comparable conventional products – but with much thinner fibers. The result is gloves that are lighter, cooler, and more flexible.

The FootStop Service insoles and foot scanner is available with a new design Developed by medical specialists, JALAS® FSS uses pressure-mapping software to measure the foot’s arch type and pressure points. The scanner helps to pinpoint problem areas that may be causing strain injuries, heel spurs, nerve issues or other discomfort. With FSS, the correct insole is easily selected. It takes just 10 seconds to make an analysis, and there is no need to remove socks. The scanner instantly records foot arch and pressure measurements. Then the display shows the location of pressure points how and whether arches are low, medium or high.

JALAS® Neutralizer are made to prevent foot issues from occurring. Arch support that provide rigidity and stability and helps the foot to have an neutral position through the step. JALAS® Neutralizer insoles are approved and certified for use with all JALAS® safety shoes. The double shock absorption zones feature extra cushioning made of Poron® XRD®, a high-tech material that absorbs up to 90% of impact energy.
