Sesame seed is considered to be the oldest oilseed crop known to humanity. The genus has many species, and most are wild. Most wild species of the genus Sesamum are native to sub-Saharan Africa. Sesame indicum, the cultivated type, originated in India.
A geotextile is a strong synthetic fabric usually used in civil engineering construction projects (such as highway or dam building) that stabilizes loose soil and prevents erosion. It is any permeable textile material used to increase soil stability, provide erosion control or aid in drainage.
