Welcome to the EKU Center’s 2017/ 18 season There’s nothing quite like the moment the theater lights go down and a hush falls over a crowd of 2,000 excited people. The anticipation of what’s to come is electric. These are the moments we create at the EKU Center, and this season we invite you to EXPERIENCE IT LIVE with us and an astounding array of world-class entertainers. From classic rock to Broadway, country, dance, and comedy, the EKU Center is once again proud to host some of the top names in entertainment. This season you’ll be wowed by rock and roll icons The Doobie Brothers, KANSAS, and The Beach Boys, be stirred by Gospel great Shirley Caesar, and be whisked away to Never Never Land in a brand new 3D stage spectacular of Peter Pan. The holidays are filled with even more fun as we present productions of The Nutcracker and A Christmas Carol, and special concert events with Mannheim Steamroller and Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone, Gary Puckett, and The Grass Roots. We’ll also visit the beloved Neighborhood of Make-Believe with Daniel Tiger, and spend one unforgettable night with Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins in Million Dollar Quartet. Alton Brown returns to the EKU Center with his new “Eat Your Science” Tour, and we welcome for the first time to our stage country legend Clint Black, Get The Led Out - The American Led Zeppelin, the Sons of Serendip, and violin sensations Femmes of Rock and Black Violin.
