Ask Us
Live Research Help When Your Students Need It Most Seventy-one hours per week during the fall and spring semesters, librarians are ready to field research questions via our virtual reference service. To better accommodate the busy schedules of our online learners, many of whom work during the day, the service is available evenings and Sundays: 1-9PM on Sundays, 10AM-10PM Mondays through Wednesdays, 10AM to 9PM on Thursdays, and 10AM to 4PM on Fridays. Students can send questions either from the Ask Us page or at their point of need within many of our databases or Subject Guides. Visit the Ask Us page at www.library.eku.edu/ask-us or the Ask Us button at the Library home page to Ask Us today and to learn about other ways to get research help.

Noel Studio
Online Consultation Pilot Program The Noel Studio for Academic Creativity will pilot a new, online consultation program beginning in spring 2013 to provide online and regional campus students at Eastern Kentucky University with access to communication-related resources. During the spring 2013 pilot, select students will have the option to schedule hour-long, real-time audio/video consultations with Noel Studio consultants trained to support students in the design of highly effective communication, including writing projects, multimodal projects, visual aids, posters, and presentation slides. While the pilot will run through the spring semester with select classes, additional online consultations will be offered to all regional campus and online students in the fall 2013 semester. Questions can be directed to Noel Studio Director, Dr. Russell Carpenter, at Russell.Carpenter@eku.edu. For more information about the Noel Studio, please visit www.studio.eku.edu.
