Ixchel Textures arises in Guatemala in
2010. Inspired by the most beautiful ancestral traditions kept alive in our magical surroundings, Ixchel creates textiles with backstrap or footlooms and dyes them naturally with plants extracts or low impact dyes. Ixchel provides employment to skilled women weavers in rural areas while creating refined natural garments, honoring nature and tradition, and respecting the environment.
