Auburn Environmental c/o: Mark Wallace 6485 Lee Road 54 Auburn, AL 36830 Dear Mr. Wallace: The City of Auburn Department of Parks and Recreation would like to formally ask Auburn Environmental to be a co-sponsor for the 2015 Earth Day Program. This is a well-established program for second graders that has grown significantly over the past several years. The program will be held at Town Creek Park on April 22nd and 23rd. Earth Day topics will include presentations on Water Treatment, Importance of Plants and Trees, Recycling and an Earth Day Art Project. We also invite a representative from Auburn Environmental to give a 30-minute, kid-friendly presentation to be added to the rotation if you so choose. We are requesting sponsorship funds of $500.00 to be split among the following areas: transportation of second graders to and from Town Creek Park; the purchase of supplies for presentations and the purchase of food and drink for program presenters, staff and volunteers. I hope that Auburn Environmental is able to be a part of this growing program. I would like to thank you and the staff at Auburn Environmental for all of the consideration that will be put into this request.
