Employment & Leadership Harvard Graduate School of Design: Lead Teaching Assistant, Landscape Core 1211 Studio August-December 2015 Offered design suggestions and support for students, led tutorials in ArcGIS and MasterCAM, coordinated and scheduled studio reviews. Stoss Landscape Urbanism: Intern June-August 2015 Worked in the schematic design, design development, and construction document phases of various projects, generating furniture designs, paving patterns, and planting strategies for public plazas. H3 Studio: Intern June-August 2014 Surveyed housing conditions, local infrastructure, and public space for the city of Wellston, Missouri and compiled information into a series of maps and graphics. Carried out as part of the Bemis Research Summer Research Scholarship. “A City that Works: An Urban Analysis of the City of Toronto” 2012 Coauthored a chapter discussing the diversity and economic vitality of Toronto, published in Living on the Boundaries: Urban Marginality in National and International Contexts, editor: Carol Camp-Yeaky.
Issues Magazine: Co-founder, President, Editor-in-Chief 2011-2014 Conducted meetings, supervised editing, managed printing and advertising, contributed articles and graphics for an interdisciplinary undergraduate publication focusing on the relationship between social issues and design in an urban context.
St. Louis Safety Implementations 2012 Studied three locations in St. Louis with high crime rates; designed proposals to increase each site’s safety, and presented findings to the St. Louis City Mayor’s Office and the Police Department.
