Feasibility Study
Concept Design
Permit Design
The Feasibility Study is used to assess a site’s demand and solar potential. It contains findings from multiple studies performed to identify project constraints and also includes details especially critical to specifying the location and size of the solar array.
The Concept Design builds on the Feasibility Study by modeling the the PV system from components specified by the client. Important decisions are then made that dictate the cost, performance, and ultimately the payback of the system. The client can dictate as man iterations as it takes to find the optimal configuration, or one that best satisfies the project and customer’s requirements.
These code-compliant system design drawings are tailored to the specific AHJ requirements and varies in size from 11x17 to 24x36 depending on system size. The drawing package includes all system layouts, details, and calculations necessary to obtain a permit from a municipality, excluding a PE stamp - that’s extra. Our templates have a 100% success rate at passing plan review the first time, every time.
This allows us to identify solar constraints such as available space, shading, pitch, and orientation before anyone ever goes on site.
