STOP 5: LANDUNGSBRÜCKEN After only two stops you get off at the Landungsbrücken, the metro station with the most beautiful view of the city. The band Kettcar from Hamburg even dedicated their own anthem to it, a catchy and popular tune with locals. Please turn right and go down the platform stairs to the exit of the station. Before the pedestrian bridge to the ferries you make a detour to the right through a side door. It leads to outdoor stairs that takes you past Hamburg‘s only vineyard up to the platform in front of the Youth Hostel Stintfang, probably the best view point to photograph the river Elbe, the harbour, ships and the St. Pauli Landing Piers. Particularly impressive: The tower with the turquoise roof, which displays the time and water level. — metro station Landungsbrücken / Google
