Talent Pipeline and Leadership Development

The ELC is committed to advancing the role and contributions of executives and preparing the next generation of corporate leaders through a series of programs and events created by our Institute for Leadership Development and Research. These offerings enable us to open channels of opportunity for the development of executives to positively impact business and our communities. POWER OF WOMEN AT WORK & MEN IN LEADERSHIP

The Power of Women at Work (POWW) and Men in Leadership (MiL) are each one-day virtual conferences designed to equip corporate professionals with the connection opportunities, strategies, and tactics they need to navigate their professional path to success. Session content presents industry best practices in ways that are actionable, measurable, and culturally relevant.

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT WEEK

Leadership Development Week (LDW) supports The ELC’s mission by providing corporate professionals with business-tested strategies, networking opportunities, and tactics to advance their careers in a culturally-relevant environment that values their social identity.

C-SUITE ACADEMY

C-Suite Academy is a leadership development program designed for senior executives, delivered by senior executives including CEOs, ELC Members, and ICF-certified executive coaches to provide attendees with the knowledge, insights and actionable steps they’ll need to become the C-Suite leader you’ve always known yourself to be.

MID-LEVEL MANAGERS’ SYMPOSIUM

The Mid-Level Managers’ Symposium (MLMS) is a two-day professional development conference designed to connect, empower and center the experience of corporate professionals across industry and function. MLMS will feature transformative mainstage sessions with influential industry leaders. At MLMS, participants engage in breakout sessions led by ELC Members and corporate executives operating at the highest levels of the Fortune 1000.

ELC Programs and Events are inclusive and welcome participants from all backgrounds with an interest in the topics.

MEMBER MEETINGS

Member Meetings are a multi-day program consisting of dynamic panels, leadership development sessions and network engagement opportunities. This program convenes members of The ELC to discuss timely issues and topics relevant to the global business community. Local business and community leaders are invited to participate in programming and engage with ELC members.

WOMEN’S LEADERSHIP FORUM

is a one-day professional and leadership development program specifically designed for top-leveln women executives and high performing women with executive potential. The program highlights experienced corporate leaders as they engage in straight forward discussions bringing career strategy, advice, feedback and networking opportunities to program participants. The annual leadership development forum convenes senior-level women executives and leaders in the corporate, public policy, legislative and academic arenas.

ELC MEMBER BRUNCH ON THE VINEYARD

The ELC Member Brunch on the Vineyard, held in the scenic Preserve community in Oak Bluffs, MA, offers members and corporate executives a perfect opportunity to connect, share insights, and foster meaningful relationships that extend beyond professional connections.

CEO GAMECHANGER CONFERENCE®

The CEO GameChanger Conference®is a halfday peer-to-peer experience designed to provide enterprise-wide CEOs with strategies to enact systemic and measurable change to advance leaders to Corporate Directors, CEO, C- Suite and senior executive positions to close the representation gaps.

BOARD DIRECTOR’S SUMMIT

The ELC’s Board Director’s Summit brings together ELC’s board-ready members and C-suite executives to meet with private equity and public corporate representatives for informal networking and structured interviews for potential board positions.

Scholarship Programs

The ELC is committed to building a pipeline of corporate talent by supporting the academic achievement and development of college students. We provide both undergraduate and graduate scholarships on behalf of corporate partners, as well as provide a robust professional development workshop series for the students called Honors Symposium. Since 1995, The ELC’s scholarship program has offered high-performing college students scholarship awards, internships, mentoring and unique access to ELC members, their companies, and our strategic partners.

Honors Symposium

The ELC Honors Symposium is a multi-day professional development experience consisting of a series of workshops and meetings that prepare ELC Scholars to contribute their talents in the workplace effectively.

Gala Week

The Executive Leadership Council’s “Gala Week” consists of five concurrent programs and events for a range of audiences, including undergraduate and graduate students (Honors Symposium), mid-level professionals (Mid-Level Managers’ Symposium), enterprise-wide CEO’s and C-suite executives, ELC Members and more. The week is anchored by The ELC’s premier fundraising event, the Recognition Gala, that celebrates over $1 million in scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students each year.

Elevate & Connect

Elevate & Connect is the premier opening reception of Gala Week, hosted at the iconic National Museum of African American History & Culture. This exclusive event gathers guests, industry executives, ELC Fellows, Members, and Scholars for an inspiring evening of cross-generational dialogue, networking, and connection. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to build meaningful relationships and champion our shared mission of advancing diversity and inclusion across Corporate America and around the world.

ELC Recognition Gala

The ELC Recognition Gala is The ELC’s most important fundraising event, supporting our scholarships, educational outreach and philanthropic initiatives and recognizing our mission, purpose and impact in action. Nearly 2,000 guests, including many of corporate America’s leading CEOs and senior executives, thought leaders and politicos join ELC members to honor individuals and corporations for their support of diversity, equity, and inclusion achievements in business.
