Comparten su historia de amor que fue posible gracias a su amiga Rossana Soler, mejor conocida como su “Dra. Corazones”.
Lorraine and Bryan met at a party hosted by their mutual friend Rossana. The intention was not only for them to meet. Everything was meticulously planned. Had it not been for these friends playing Cupid, we wonder how this story would’ve unfolded.
Lorraine y Bryan se conocieron en una fiesta de Rossana, su amiga en común. La intención no era solamente que se conocieran. Todo había sido fríamente calculado. ¡Así como les contamos! Si no hubiera sido por estas amistades en afán de ejercer como cupido, ¿Cuál hubiera sido la historia?
As a result of the many heart-to-heart conversations between Rossana and Lorraine on the subject of love, Rossana comes up with the idea of planning a party on January 6, 2019. Before introducing Bryan and Lorraine, Rossana had already spent time analyzing Bryan and had concluded that they were compatible. She even sought the approval of Lorraine’s parents. She was a pretty determined friend! Guess what? The radar of love detected good signals for Dr. Hearts. The much awaited day of the party, where Bryan and Lorraine were to be introduced had arrived. Needless to say, everything turned out pretty well.
Como resultado de las muchas conversaciones e intensos desahogos entre Rossana y Lorraine sobre el tema del amor, a Rossana se le ocurre planificar una fiesta el 6 de enero de 2019. Mucho antes de la actividad que planeaba para presentar a Bryan y a Lorraine, ya Rossana había invertido tiempo analizando a Bryan y había concluido que eran compatibles. Hasta buscó la aprobación de los padres de Lorraine, ¡Oye! Una amiga bastante determinada. ¿Adivinen qué? El radar del amor dio buenas señales a la Dra. Corazones. Llegó la fiesta esperada donde Bryan y Lorraine se conocieron. Cómo leen, todo resultó bastante bien.
The Engagement

The idea of marriage was present at all times for Bryan. Since the first time he was alone with Lorraine’s parents, he was clear about his intentions. Whenever he could, he would mention it, adding that he didn’t want a long courtship. Neither did Lorraine.
La iniciativa en tema de matrimonio estuvo presente en todo momento para Bryan. Incluso, desde la primera vez que estuvo a solas con los padres de Lorraine, les comunicó claramente sus intenciones. Cada vez que podía, tocaba el tema, añadiendo que no quería un noviazgo largo. Lorraine tampoco.
After a year and a half of the relationship, they traveled to New York where Bryan had planned a special moment to propose. After a big rain, like a scene from the movies, in the middle of Times Square, on the famous red stairs, Bryan got on one knee and asked the famous question. When he put the ring on her finger, he said: “December it is.” That was one of the most important moments for both, and the conclusion of one of their most memorable trips as a couple.

Luego de un año y medio de relación, viajaron a New York donde Bryan planificaba un momento especial para comprometerse. Después de una gran lluvia, como de esas de películas, en medio de Times Square, en las famosas escaleras rojas, Bryan se pone en una rodilla y hace la famosa pregunta. Cuando le entrega la sortija le dice: Diciembre es la fecha; marcando así una de los momentos más importantes para ambos y la conclusión de uno de sus viajes más memorables como pareja.

As in many weddings, the initial plan was to have something simple. Bryan wanted a civil marriage officiated by a judge and then a family dinner. Lorraine was not amused by this plan. She wanted a simple wedding, but not so simple! She wanted entertainment. But it was certainly not that funny and amusing friend or relative, to act as the wedding’s entertainment. She wanted something more.
Como en muchas bodas, el plan inicial era algo sencillo. Bryan quería un casamiento civil oficiado por un juez y luego una cena familiar. A Lorraine no le hizo gracia dicho plan. Deseaba una boda sencilla, pero no tanto. Quería entretenimiento, pero no era que ese amigo o familiar, alma de la fiesta, sirviera de entretenimiento. Deseaba algo más.
In the process, they realized that the more they planned, the less simple it looked. Bryan insisted on not investing on a wedding. But Lorraine, a lover of fashion and everything in vogue, did not think the same. Every day she and her mom found more options for decoration, entertainment and well, she wanted it all! The worldwide alarming situation of COVID 19 forced them to cancel their wedding scheduled for December 27, 2020. There were further cancellations, reduction in the number of guests, weekends not available. In short, they managed to set a new date. But, What day? A TUESDAY! As the Spanish saying goes, “On Tuesday you do not marry, you do not travel or far from home you wander off”. Between violins, Batucada, family, friends, with the perfect toast, and the beautiful words of her mother, Lorraine and Bryan got married!
En el proceso, se van dando cuenta que mientras más planeaban, todo parecía ser un poco más que “sencillo”. Bryan insistía en no invertir en una boda. Pero Lorraine, amante de la moda y de todo lo que está en tendencia, no pensaba igual. Cada día ella y su mamá encontraban más opciones para decoración, entretenimiento y pues, ¡ella lo quería todo! La situación alarmante a nivel mundial del COVID 19 los llevó a cancelar su boda pautada para el 27 de diciembre de 2020. Hubo más cancelaciones, reducción del número de invitados, fines de semana no disponibles, en fin, lograron fijar una nueva fecha. Pero, ¡En qué día! UN MARTES. Como dice el refrán: “Martes, ni te cases, ni te embarques, ni de tu casa te apartes”. Entre violines, batucada, familia, amigos, con el brindis perfecto y las hermosas palabras de su mamá, ¡Lorraine y Bryan se casaron!

Rincón, the Craddle of Love and the most Beautiful Sunsets As it should be, everything is discussed and planned as a couple. Although Bryan lived in Florida, Rincon was Lorraine’s hometown. In trying to find a middle ground, they decided to celebrate their wedding in our beautiful town, the destination of many couples and celebrities. The Honeymoon
Rincón, cuna de amor y de los más bellos atardeceres Como todo se habla y se planifica en pareja, aunque Bryan vivía en Florida, Rincón es el pueblo de origen de Lorraine. Buscando un punto medio, al final celebraron su boda en nuestro hermoso pueblo, destino de muchas parejas y grandes celebridades. La luna de miel
No doubt there was only one destination, Europe. But it couldn’t be. Traveling to other places was impossible by the pandemic, quarantine, vaccination, tests, etc. Finally, they agreed on Dubai, which seemed like a perfect fit. And what a destination! A honeymoon in the desert, among camels, belly dancers, a different culture, while visiting the largest shopping mall in the world, the Dubai Mall; and other incredible attractions only found in Dubai. Not to mention that they also traveled to Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. Bryan loves to travel, so he made sure they enjoyed a perfect honeymoon.
Sin duda había solo un destino, Europa. Pero no pudo ser. Viajar a otros destinos se les hacía imposible por la situación de pandemia, cuarentena, vacunación, pruebas, etc. Finalmente el destino que les cayó como anillo al dedo fue Dubai. ¡Y qué destino! Una luna de miel entre el desierto, camellos, danzantes del vientre, cultura diferente, sin dejar de visitar el centro comercial más grande del mundo, Dubai Mall; entre otras atracciones increíbles que solo encontrarás en Dubai. Eso fue casi todo sin mencionar que luego viajaron a Las Vegas y al Gran Cañón del Colorado. Bryan es un amante de los viajes así que se aseguró de que disfrutaran de una luna de miel perfecta para ambos.
As our last word, we raise our glasses and toast for more friends eagerly willing to play Cupid, and for more amazing stories to tell!

¡De la manera más loca, así nos conocimos! // In the craziest manner, thats how we met! Before telling you the story of Amanda and Eduardo (Guaco) who were crazily destined to find each other, let’s first get to know them.
Antes de contarles su historia tan locamente destinada de encontrarse, primero vamos a conocer un poco de Amanda y Eduardo (Guaco).
Eduardo (Guaco) is a simple man according to Amanda. For that reason we will start with him. He studied at Purdue University with a major in Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences and a minor in Classical History. He is a young professional who loves to watch tv series, play videogames, and when he has time, he loves to enjoy nature with his closest friends. As we have noted, “Guaco” is one of those simple people that everybody in the world loves especially his friends. You’ll see! Among the plans for his life he is counting on being able to work in a sustainable business and to develop projects based on this theme.
¡Eduardo (Guaco) es un hombre simple! según Amanda. Así que empezamos con él. Cursó sus estudios en Fisheries & Aquatic Sciences, con una concentración en Historia Clásica en la Universidad de Purdue. Joven profesional amante de las series, de jugar videojuegos y cuando hay tiempo, adora disfrutar de la naturaleza con sus más allegados. Aunque, según hemos notado, “Guaco” es de esas personas sencillas que todo el mundo quiere en su grupo de amigos. ¡Ya verán! Entre sus planes de vida cuenta con poder trabajar en Negocio de Sostenibilidad y poder desarrollar proyectos en torno a ese tema.
On the other hand, Amanda is more down to earth and without a doubt her book of adventures and life experiences will never lack for stories. She is a licensed psychologist, and enjoys watching tv food series and comedies, reading research on psychology and sexuality, dancing by herself in her living room, and being connected at all times with nature. At one point in her life, she backpacked through counties such as Nepal, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Italy, England, and Holland to mention only a few.
Mientras tanto Amanda es algo más perteneciente al mundo y sin duda su libro de aventuras y vivencias nunca se detendrá de obtenerlas. Es psicóloga licenciada. Disfruta de ver series de comida y de comedia, leer artículos de investigación relacionados a la psicología y sexualidad, bailar en la sala de su casa y estar conectada en todo momento con la naturaleza. Durante un tiempo de su vida emprendió un viaje como mochilera conociendo países como Nepal, Vietnam, Camboya, Tailandia, Italia, Inglaterra, Holanda entre muchos más.
Then, at what moment did these twin souls meet? Let’s put it this way. Out of something coincidental arose something permanent. They just needed to be in the same place at the same time and discover in the craziest manner possible that they had a friend in common named Milixa.
Y entonces, ¿en qué momento es que estas dos almas gemelas se conocen? Bueno… ¡Vamos a ponerlo así! De algo casual surgió un para siempre. Solo que necesitaban estar en el mismo lugar al mismo tiempo y que descubrieran de la manera más loca que ambos tenían una amiga en común llamada, Milixa.
In 2010, there was an event in the Hotel Conquistador called Fantasy Island. Amanda was waiting for her best friend in the pool when she realized that she didn’t have any way to communicate with her. At that moment, Amanda decided to approach two young men who had their cell phones in plastic pouches around their necks. She approached them and asked them if she could use one of their phones to call her friend to which they agreed. After entering the number she saw that Milixa’s name was already in the contacts list confusing the three of them. Amanda asked them. “Who are you, and why is my best friend’s number in your contacts list?” They replied. “No, no.” Asking her who she was instead. After chatting for a while, it turned out that her friend was a close friend of theirs from Purdue University. They were all a part of a group of “Boricuas” from Purdue who became friends at that event. They met again in 2011, when Amanda went to Indiana for her best friend’s, Milixa’s 21st birthday. Guess what? There is where the chemistry between Amanda and Guaco began, but for some reason, Amanda had a boyfriend. In 2015 and 2016, Guaco went with Milixa to a gathering at Amanda’s house. At that time Amanda was living with her cousin and one of her cousin’s best friends. The next morning when they went to the balcony, there were cigarette butts all over the balcony floor. Her roommate blamed Guaco, and both of them become angry with Guaco and put him on their black list. Guaco without knowing anything tried to invite Amanda out, but received the typical put off of “I’ll let you know.” In December 2016, there was no way of getting out of going to a party with Milixa and her boyfriend which resulted in another encounter with Guaco after she had ignored him for so long. Finally, when something is fated to happen, it happens. They ended up agreeing to be “friends with privileges.” Do you remember the story about the cigarette butts? It turns out that it wasn’t Guaco, but her cousin’s roommate. Since her and her roommate never though they would see Guaco again, they blamed him. In 2017, Gauco’s father died in a similar manner to Amanda’s father in 2015. Both were alcoholics with mental health issues. They were able to understand each other’s pain and help each other even though the line between being a casual acquaintance and being in a relationship was becoming somewhat blurry. Amanda had no desire to become emotionally involved with someone else since she had plans to go by herself on a backpacking trip to Asia and Europe, and she didn’t want anything to interrupt that dream.
En el 2010 hubo un evento en el Hotel Conquistador llamado Fantasy Island. Amanda estaba esperando a su mejor amiga en la piscina cuando se percata que no tenía manera de comunicarse con ella. En ese momento, Amanda, decide acercarse a estos dos chicos que tenían sus celulares en unos plásticos alrededor de su cuello. Se acerca y les pregunta si podía usar su teléfono para llamar a su mejor amiga a lo que ellos acceden. Al marcar su número, su nombre sale registrado en sus contactos y los tres se miraron sumamente confundidos. Al momento en que Amanda les dice: “¿Quiénes son ustedes? Y ¿por qué el nombre de mi mejor amiga está grabado?”. A lo que le respondieron: “no, no, ¿quién tú eres? Luego de eso, charlaron un poco enterándose que ellos eran sus amigos íntimos de Purdue University. Todos eran parte del grupo de boricuas de Purdue y pues se hicieron amigos en ese evento. Se reencuentran en el 2011 ya que Amanda viajó a Indiana para los 21 años de su mejor amiga. ¿Adivinen qué? Aquí fue que comenzó esa química entre ellos dos pero, por alguna razón Amanda tenía un novio para aquel entonces. En el 2015 o 2016, Guaco asiste con Milixa a un compartir entre amigos en casa de Amanda. En ese momento Amanda vivía con su prima y uno de sus mejores amigos. La mañana siguiente cuando van al balcón y había colillas de cigarrillos tiradas en el suelo y su compañero de piso le echa la culpa a Guaco. Ambas se molestaron con él y automáticamente cae en la lista negra, a cómo uno le dice en buen español. Guaco sin saber nada intentó invitar a Amanda para algunas salidas. Pero, ustedes saben la típica pero muy efectiva respuesta del “yo te dejo saber” fue enviada. En diciembre de 2016, no hubo otra alternativa para Amanda que asistir a una fiesta con Milixa y su novio, sucediendo un nuevo reencuentro con Guaco luego de ignorarlo tanto. Al final cuando algo es para uno, pasa. En lo que terminó con un acuerdo de ser “amigos con privilegios”. Pero, ¿se acuerdan de la historia de las colillas de cigarrillos en el balcón causadas supuestamente por Guaco? Entre conversaciones, resulta que no fue él y fue el compañero de piso de Amanda y su prima. Como pensó que jamás volvería a verlo, le echó la culpa a él. En enero 2017 falleció el papá de Guaco de manera similar que había fallecido el papá de Amanda en el 2015. Ambos eran alcohólicos con problemas de salud mental y la vida les pasó factura. Se pudo entender el dolor y ayudarse mutuamente aunque ya la línea entre lo casual y una relación se estaba viendo algo borrosa. Claramente, Amanda no deseaba envolverse emocionalmente con alguien ya que tenía planes de irse a viajar sola como mochilera a Asia y Europa y no quería ninguna interrupción a ese sueño.
Time goes by, and the communication between the two of them ceased while Amanda went on the trip that was so necessary for her to carry out in her life. When she returned, Guaco found out she was back and looked her up, but Amanda did not reciprocate. You all know that hurricanes Irma and Maria came and made history, and about that time Amanda was regretting having ignored Guaco. The question “was how to fix this?” In one way or the other, the lack of means of communication and electricity obligated them to see each other more frequently.
Un tiempo pasó y la comunicación cesó entre ellos mientras Amanda emprendía ese viaje que tanto necesitaba trazar en su vida. Cuando regresa a casa, Guaco se entera y la busca. Sin tener éxito alguno ni siquiera de manera genuina. Recibiendo un mensaje de vuelta algo un tanto no agradable. Ustedes saben que el Huracán Irma y María vinieron a hacer historia. Ya para ese entonces Amanda estaba algo arrepentida de su respuesta a Guaco. Pero ¡ajá! ¿cómo arreglaba esto? Y bueno, de alguna manera u otra la falta de señal en los medios de comunicación y electricidad estos acontecimientos los obligó a verse más a menudo.
On October 31, 2017 they formalized their relationship and a while later they moved with their dogs to Philadelphia.
En Octubre 31, 2017 (Halloween) formalizan la relación mudándose un tiempo después con sus perros a Philadelphia. ¡El resto es historia!

When Will the Ring and Wedding Happen? There was not a wedding ring, but instead a beautiful necklace from Muns just like Amanda wanted. The wedding was the ring on the finger just like the way it was destined to be. Guaco wanted a celebration which turned out to be small even though they both have large families living nearbye. As part of the process, they met Aidita from Private Villas PR who coordinated down to the last detail that special moment in Ocaso Luxury Villas in the town of Rincón with 38 people attending physically and the rest virtually. The setting was exactly the way they wanted it. Mountains with a scenic view to the ocean.
How About the Wedding Dress? The wedding dress was the most enjoyable part of the whole process. Amanda wanted to get married in pants, and so she did. A friend of many years had a sister that had been featured in “Paris and London Fashion Week”. She also appeared in a show on Netflix called “Next in Fashion” and worked for artists such as Beyonce. The truth is that Nasheli was an artist, and Amanda admired her so much. Everything was perfect because Nasheli not only was her friend’s sister, she also lived in Philadelphia. As a result she contacted her, explained her design, and it turned out to be something out of this world. During the design process, the idea of adding a cape came up, but when Nasheli saw the movie Cruella, she changed the design of the cape to one more dramatic and spectacular. The photos are the evidence of the results.
¿El anillo y la boda pa’ cuando? No hubo anillo de compromiso pero sí un hermoso collar de Muns. Tal cual Amando lo quiso. La boda, como anillo al dedo y exactamente como estaba destinada a ser. Guaco deseaba una celebración. Fue pequeña a pesar de que son personas con una gran cantidad de familia cercana. Dentro del proceso conocen a Aidita, de Private Villas PR quien les coordinó al detalle este momento tan especial en Ocaso Luxury Villas en el pueblo de Rincón, Puerto Rico con un total de 38 personas y el resto estuvo presente de manera virtual. Demostrando un lugar exactamente como lo deseaban, montañas con una vista escénica al mar.
El vestuario de la boda… El atuendo fue uno de los favoritos en todo el proceso. Amanda deseaba casarse en pantalones y así sucedió. Al tener un gran amigo de muchos años, sabía que su hermana era diseñadora, Nasheli Juliana. Ella se había presentado en Paris y London Fashion Week, salió en un show de Netflix llamado Next in Fashion, y ha trabajado para artistas como Beyonce. La verdad es que Nasheli es una artista y la admiraba demasiado. Todo fue perfecto porque Nasheli, tras ser la hermana de un amigo, vivía en Filadelfia también. Así que la contactó e hizo lo mismo, confiar en su diseño y ¡fue una cosa de otro mundo! Durante el proceso, surge la idea de añadir una capa y cuando Nasheli vio la película de Cruella, cambió el diseño de la capa a uno más dramático y espectacular. Las fotos son prueba del resultado.
And the Honeymoon … In Process. The initial plans were to go to Japan. Then they decided, it would be better to go to Europe. We all know the circumstances we are living with and that with them come limitations. The most important thing is that this romance continue as it crazily has been destined to do. That these lovebirds continue to be children of the sea and adding adventures to their blessings.
¿La luna de miel? En proceso… Los planes iniciales eran ir a Japón. Luego quedaron en ir mejor a Europa. Todos sabemos en las circunstancias en las que actualmente estamos viviendo y que con ellas surgen alguna limitaciones. Lo que sí es importante es que esta historia continúe como así ha sido locamente destinada. Que estos dos par de tórtolos continúen siendo hijos del mar y sumando aventuras en bendición.
The moral of the story is to be patient and determined like Guaco even if you encounter as many obstacles as the ones that Amanda created. What is fated to be, will be.
Moraleja, ten paciencia y determinación como Guaco y aunque pongas tantas trabas como Amanda, lo que es para uno, será.

Yary’s Sweet Art was a family dream that began with a mother daughter team that is unmatched in creating dream-like pastries. Together, Yaritza Acevedo and Sonia Morales began a business that distinguished itself through its great flavor, artistry, and love which is transferred to all confections regardless of whether they are cookies, cakes or deserts. Yary’s Sweet Art specializes in what can be considered big events. By big events is meant weddings through which great love and patience makes the dreams of the couples become a reality. What attracted them the most to weddings was the elegance, delicacy, and dedication involved in the creation of impeccable cakes. The tendency in most weddings is to use ivory and white, however they specialize in different formats and colors since they want the cake turn out to be exactly the way the bride and groom want them to be. It’s for this reason that they design cakes both manually and digitally so that the bride and groom will have an opportunity to know exactly how the cake will turn out. It is certain that when the cake is displayed at the wedding, the bride and groom are going to have a pleasant surprise because they will see their vision reflected in the cake. It’s because they have so much love for their clients that they invest more than 100% of their effort to any creation that they are in charge of. Anybody can make cakes, but this company puts their heart into any challenges they receive and make sure that the time they invest is worth the while since they always invest such pride and love into their cakes. Upon tasting them, one knows that their talent is insurmountable and unequable. Yary and her mom have spent many years making wedding cakes part time. But the world has changed and as a result they began to dedicate themselves exclusively to making wedding cakes. It’s an incredible example to follow since they left any fear behind and began to invest their efforts in the business regardless of the pandemic. With a lot of wisdom, they have a team of family members that follow all the health regulations with each desert that they make. They are in charge of the cake from the design and creation, to transporting and mounting the cake at the wedding activity which in reality is the center of attention of any event. Their favorite part of any activity is to hear how the activity turned out. They always follow up the next day with a call to hear any criticisms there might be regarding their creations. The response, however, is always the same. Their customers are always very satisfied with their work. The reality is that they are not just bakers but artists. None of their creations are the same. They admit that each creation involves a lot of time and sacrifice and they sometimes spend entire nights without sleeping. But with a lot of sacrifice you make people happy. Their determination to give their all to each one of their cakes is unstoppable. In many ways that cannot be describe in words, these women have a gift that can only be proved by tasting their creations.

Yary’s Sweet Art se especializa en lo que son los eventos grandes. En lo que se refiere a las bodas, con mucho amor y paciencia hace que el sueño de las parejas se convierta en realidad. Lo que les llamo más la atención de las bodas, fue la elegancia, delicadeza y dedicación que conlleva la preparación impecable de las tartas. Las tendencias usuales de las bodas usualmente conllevan los colores ‘ivory’ o los blancos. Ellas se especializan en distintos programas, ya que desean hacer que las tartas queden exactamente como los novios desean. Es por eso que diseñan los bizcochos manualmente y digitalmente, para que los novios tengan igual de oportunidad de saber como van a quedar. Aunque es seguro que cuando ya este montado en la actividad se lleven una gran sorpresa, porque siempre le dan su propia version a las tartas con la visión de los novios. En todo caso, la realidad de la tarta siempre supera las expectativas de los novios. Y es que con el amor que tienen hacia los clientes es tanto, que siempre dan más del 100% a cualquier creación que se les encomiende. Pero la respuesta es siempre la misma, están más que complacidos de todo su trabajo. La realidad es que ella no es tan solo una repostera, pero es una artista. Ninguna de sus creaciones es igual a cualquier otra. Admite que cada creación conlleva mucho tiempo, sacrificio y alguna veces hasta noches enteras sin dormir. Pero que con mucho sacrificio se complace, porque su determinación dar lo mejor de si en todas sus tartas es imparable. Sarah Rosario is a certified event planner and private chef on the west coast of Puerto Rico. With extensive experience in the restaurant and hotel industry, she has worked with countless brides on and off the island to make their dream wedding or event into a marvelous reality. Sarah was born in Arecibo Puerto Rico but she was raised in Ponce, on the south of the island. She is the mother of 3 children and grandmother of three grandchildren. She discovered Rincón 20 years ago and immediately fell in love. She then moved to Rincón and began her own event planning and personal chef business.

Cuenta con una amplia experiencia en la industria de restaurantes y hoteles, y ha trabajado con innumerables novias dentro y fuera de la isla para hacer de su boda o evento soñado una realidad maravillosa. Sarah nació en Arecibo, Puerto Rico, pero se crio en Ponce, en el sur de la isla. Tiene tres hijos y es abuela de tres nietos. Descubrió a Rincón hace 20 años e inmediatamente se enamoró. Luego se mudó a Rincón y comenzó su propio negocio de planificación de eventos y chef personal.
Her culinary inspiration comes from her mother, who was a cook for many restaurants in the southern area of Puerto Rico. She created delicious meals for many customers. She also wanted her children to learn the basics of traditional Latin Cuisine. Sarah has been cooking since she was 12 years old. She loves comfort, delicious food with elegant touches that makes you feel like mom’s kitchen at home.
Su inspiración culinaria proviene de su madre quien fue cocinera de muchos restaurantes en el área sur de Puerto Rico. Ella creaba deliciosas comidas para muchos clientes. También quería que sus hijos aprendieran los conceptos básicos de la cocina latina tradicional. Sarah cocina desde los 12 años. Le encanta la comida deliciosa y acogedora, con toques elegantes que te hacen sentir como si fuera la cocina de mamá en casa.
She is a graduate from the Hotel Culinary School of Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. She has been creating a variety of menus that satisfy everyone’s taste buds. Food is her passion and her focus is creating interesting and savory meals with local ingredients from local farmers and markets. Her Cuisine is founded on traditional Puerto Rican / Caribbean fare, well presented and with lots of love.
Es graduada de la Escuela Culinaria Hotelera de Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. Ha creado una variedad de menús que satisfacen los paladares de todos. La comida es su pasión y su enfoque es crear comidas interesantes y sabrosas con ingredientes locales de agricultores y mercados locales. Su cocina se basa en la comida tradicional puertorriqueña/caribeña, bien presentada y confeccionada con mucho amor.
Suheily and Christopher Christopher and I always knew that we wanted to get married in Puerto Rico, so we chose Rincón! We’re both lovers of the water. We wanted to make sure that our guests experienced the best sunsets, delicious food, beaches and the hospitality our island has to offer. Rincón is a gem. The people from this part of the island remind me so much of how we are as a couple: kind, free-spirited, and very connected with nature’s beauty. We knew that our family and guests would fall in love with Rincón as much as we did. Our goal was to make sure that not only our guests would come to Puerto Rico to celebrate our love but to also have an unforgettable vacation. We’re so blessed to have found Sarah! She brought our wedding vision to life. The venue itself is breathtaking. Tres Palmas Inn and Villas balanced perfectly what we wanted: to feel at home but also experience what Rincon has to offer daily. The mornings were just pure bliss and the sunsets were Mother Nature showing off… Just magic! Cafe 2 go was our daily spot for some really good coffee. Ricomini was our breakfast spot with a large menu to choose from. Rincon has it all! It’s a small town, but with so much to offer! And, if you are a lover of the outdoors, this will be your happy place. If we could get married again without a doubt it would be in Rincón.
Suheily y Christopher Christopher y yo siempre supimos que queríamos casarnos en Puerto Rico. Así que elegimos Rincón. Los dos somos amantes del agua. Queríamos asegurarnos de que nuestros huéspedes experimentaran las mejores puestas de sol, deliciosa comida, playas y la hospitalidad que nuestra isla nos ofrece. Rincón es una joya. La gente de esta región me recuerda mucho a cómo somos como pareja: gentiles, libres, y muy conectados con la belleza de la naturaleza. Sabíamos que nuestra familia e invitados se enamorarían de Rincón tanto como nosotros. Ricomini fue nuestro lugar de desayuno con un gran menú para elegir. ¡Rincón lo tiene todo! Es un pueblo pequeño, pero con mucho que ofrecer! Y, si eres un amante de los exteriores, este será el lugar que te hará sentir muy feliz. Si pudiéramos volver a casarnos, sin duda sería en Rincón.

Quizás te preguntes eso cuando recibas todas las cotizaciones. Y tal vez ni si quiera te imagines a alguien que maneje el día de tu boda mejor que tú misma. La realidad es, que las coordinadoras/es de eventos es el nombre formal de la posición laboral. En realidad son aquellos angelitos que brindan la paz necesaria para que puedas disfrutar tu día. Un/a coordinador/a de eventos es quien dirige tu “show”. Es quien esta a cargo de cada mínimo detalle que quizás ni te hayas imaginado. Una coordinadora de eventos es capaz de que te disfrutes tu día sin el estrés de tener que contestar preguntas, porque ya tienes una experta/o a tu lado. En realidad quizás te estés preguntando, ¿de verdad valdrá la pena tener un/a coordinador/a? Imagina esto, estás en tu día de bodas, con un equipo magnífico de suplidores, estas tratando de disfrutar pero te encuentras estresada de cada detalle. Quizás cuando colocaron las mesas nunca pusieron el plano adecuado, tal vez no están siguiendo el plan que hiciste minuciosamente cada hora, o quien sabe, nunca llegaron. Estas son las razones por las cual tener un/a coordinador/a de eventos es tan y tan primordial. Quizás te detengas al ver las cotizaciones, pero lo que cuestan te lo devuelven el triple con acuerdos que ya tienen con suplidores, su experiencia y te traen la paz necesaria para que disfrutes tu boda bailando. Ellas/os ya tienen su propio equipo de suplidores con los cuales han trabajado durante numerosas bodas. Estos talentosos suplidores han sido cultivados y ya están acostumbrados a trabajar en equipo. Los/as coordinadores/as te traen el equipo estrella a tu evento para que no sudes o pierdas sueño. Los/as coordinadores/as ya tienen su propia conexión y equipo de trabajo que sabes que no fallaran. Y al ser este el caso, tienen también un precio especial que nunca estaría disponible sin un coordinador o coordinadora. Incluso si no conocen al suplidor de tu elección, ellas/os ya tienen experiencia trabajando en ese campo, por lo cual pueden ayudar a ser un puente de comunicación entre los novios y el suplidor si hay un mal entendido en algún momento de contratarlos.
Y, aunque suene terrible, el tiempo nunca para ni para los buenos. Lo que significa que tal vez no tengas tiempo suficiente para planificar tu evento porque tienes otros deberes tales como el trabajo, familia, emergencias, etc. Si, manejar el tiempo día a día es bastante ajetreado, imagina como sería estar entre llamada y reunión para encontrar no solo a un coordinador, sino a cada detalle (rentas, regalos, suplidores, localidad, etc.) tu solito o solita. Quizas me leas y dirás, yo puedo y eso esta maravilloso, pero si en algún momento necesitas un respiro o alguna ayuda, los del campo de coordinacion podrian darte un norte y una manito tambien. Los coordinadores son quienes tienen el tiempo extenso para coordinar las citas con los suplidores. Las visitas de localidad con los novios y la planificación entre la localidad y los suplidores. Los que hacen el manejo de tiempo desde días antes cuando hacen las entregas, cuando montan el mismo día y el día que vayan a recoger. Son quienes le hacen los horarios a todos, a los suplidores de llegada, de salida, el de los novios y que pasa en todo el día, el de los empleados de la actividad, y cuando van a recoger todo aún asi dias despues. Suena un poco confuso, pero aqui están los coordinadores que te dan de la mano y te ayudan a entender como se maneja todo. Te guardan de un dolor de cabeza, son capaces de dar paz y orden a la vez a tu evento.
