• Do you think that you’re a fluent reader? How do you know? What are some of the things you do that fluent reader s do?

• Do you ever find it difficult to read a text fluently? What kind of text? In these cases, how do you know that fluency is difficult?

• When you are reading aloud, does it sound the same as when you’re reading silently? How does it differ?

• What do you think an accurate reader does? How do you know? What do you do that accurate reader s do?

• What makes reading accurately difficult for you? Can you give me an example?

• How do you know when you are not reading accurately?

• If you are reading a passage and you realise that you do not under stand it, what effect does this have on your fluency and accuracy?

• Do you know how to seek help? What would you do?
