MR. ARABIN LAMA

GLOBAL SALES CENTER, GENERAL MANAGER ANTAISOLAR INDIA PVT. LTD

In a short and crisp conversation with Mr. Arabin Lama, Global Sales Center, General Manager, AntaiSolar India Pvt. Ltd, he spokes about expectations, future outlook, key offerings, and much more.

Expecting from REI Expo 2022

We have good response and lots of visitors so it is quite successful & fruitful for us. The market is little bit paused for now because of the policy and high module prices especially but I think most of the projects will go ahead by next month, we are expecting lots of projects will be moving by the next month. The future outlook of the Renewable Energy Sector of India

I think the most important things are the policies from the government side for the modules, the huge tax is there but when it will be clear then the market is quite big in India, I believe that per year, 2 to 3 mega gigawatts installation will happen. The key offerings of your company to its customers

India is a very cost sensitive market so what we are offering is very simple but very powerful tracking system and it is very necessary for the utility scale project because now the tracker is the only thing that can enhance the power generation 15 to 25 per cent so it will generate more revenue so this is how I see the market is for the tracker for utility scale projects.

The most important highlight of your company in 2022

As we are in this business for 16 years, we have shipped more than 20 gigawatts structures and trackers worldwide. Globally, this year we will be shipping specially in the tracking segment around 3 gigawatts but for the India Market we are also expecting around 500 to 1 gigawatt projects should happen. The future investment plans of your company

We have already done huge investment with one of the biggest OEM partner, we are doing is that for the tracker’s structural three main parts, it will come with 75 to 80 per cent so the government also have taxes and we manufacturer these things locally so we can save lots of money of our clients one is the tax, shipment cost, and even the foreign exchange rate, they can pay in their local currencies for the investment actually we have done with local OEM partners so secured the 20 gigawatt per annum production also because this is also very important while we are talking about 100 mega plus projects so delivery time is always tight so this will also lessen the constrain about the delivery time, we are eliminating some shipment timing.
