FOUR YEARS OF EXCELLENCE
The Southeast Georgia Health System’s Brunswick Campus Wound Care Center has been recognized for excellence in wound healing for the fourth consecutive year by Healogics®. The center recently received the Robert A. Warriner III, M.D., Clinical Excellence Award for scoring in the top 10% of eligible Healogics Wound Care Centers for the second year in a row. The center has a 97.5% patient satisfaction rate, and a healed wound rate of 96%. In 2017 and 2018, they received the Center of Excellence award. PET EXCHANGE GETS MAKEOVER
Now that Pet Exchange is looking all bright, shiny, and new, it’s time to come in to stock up on all your pet’s needs and their own makeover too! They have installed new wood flooring, gotten a new paint job, and added new LED lighting to brighten up the space, two new stainless steel cage banks, and a new bathtub with bathing system. This new system precisely portions out the chosen shampoo and mixes it with air and water to gently but effectively clean dogs’ skin and coat. They can choose from several types of different shampoos, including de-shedding, deep cleaning, hypoallergenic, and medicated. The grooming area has five full time groomers working Monday through Saturday (by appointment). Pet Exchange has a full range of pet supplies, food, and products. NEW EXECUTIVE CHEF AT ECHO
The King and Prince Beach & Golf Resort, a MMI Hotel Group property, is pleased to announce the appointment of Chef Thomas Cook as Executive Chef. His arrival marks the unveiling of a new menu at ECHO, featuring additional fresh seafood and vegetarian dishes along with old favorites. Prior to joining The King and Prince, Cook worked in some of the most prominent kitchens on the Los Angeles restaurant scene, including a stint at award-winning Campanile working alongside Executive Chef and Owner Mark Peel. “I really appreciate and revere the history of the resort,” said Cook. “My culinary vision here is to reinvent the classics, respectfully nodding to the past but elevating the resort’s offerings ever so slightly.” General Manager Bart Johnson says, “We’re thrilled to have Chef Tom join the King and Prince family.
