CONFIDENCE CLOSET AVAILABLE

The Junior Women’s Association of the Golden Isles recently installed a Confidence Closet at the Elizabeth F. Correll Teen Center of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Georgia. Members transformed a storage space into a critical resource center that will be stocked with hygiene products that students can access, free of charge as needed. No child in Glynn County should feel ashamed to go to school because they lack access to hygiene and sanitary products. Donations can be dropped off at Cloister Collection, Engel & Volkers, Merrill Lynch, Seaside Ophthalmology, and St. Simons Drugs on St. Simons Island or Coastal Foot & Ankle in Brunswick. Products needed: deodorant, feminine hygiene protection (pads preferred), laundry sink packs, oral hygiene products, personal care wipes, soap/body wash, shampoo/conditioner, shaving products, and stain sticks. Together we can help instill confidence, courage, and pride in the teens of Glynn County.
