BUILD A BETTER WORKFORCE

“What if every workday mattered?

What if every shift someone clocked in, what if every floor they swept, every customer they dealt with, what if it all added up? What if it meant something?” asked Justin Henshaw, founder and CEO of GAGE. In addition to GAGE, Henshaw is the owner of 7 brands, 12 companies in 14 states, and manages more than 200 employees through Henshaw Companies (HCo) management firm.

These questions were the foundation for GAGE, and he explains it was created out of necessity. “The workforce is people, not machines, not robots, but people. It’s a relationship. No matter the industry, we’re all in the people business. And as generational and cultural shifts happen, it’s important to adapt and develop tools that empower the next generations of staff, managers, and business owners.” The spirit of GAGE is to be a common table and a common language that provide: 1) accountability for employers 2) transparency for the employees, and 3) communication for both the employer and employee to work towards their goals.
