Systemic design plans the relationships between the components that generate a system. It enhances local identity and resources and produces development and well-being for the individual and the community. By working innovatively on processes and their relationships, it is possible to create the blue economy. Growth takes place for autopoiesis and the result is sustainable development. Nowadays, Earth situation forces us to seriously think about our future. Our current production and consuming behaviour draws resources from the environment and dumps trash into the environment. It’s now most urgent redesign the flow of goods and energy, following a natural model. If the output of a system is the input of another one productive processes are naturally reconfigured, enhancing their profit and their operating area. In this section will be shown the transformation of the system of a herbalist shop from a linear approach, the current one, to a systemic approach.

The subject of master thesis is the analysis of the Gattavecchi winegrowing company, specialized in the production of Rosso di Montepulciano and Vino Nobile, located in Montepulciano, Tuscany. Have been identified the relationships that currently exist with the territorial activities that enable the company to grow grapes, produce wine, cook dishes in the restaurant and sell their goods. Critics have been identified using some criteria: - environmental impact; - consequences on man’s health; - enhancement of local culture.

Systemic Approach RELATIONS BETWEEN COMPANY AND TERRITORIAL ACTIVITIES

Thanks to the systemic approach, it is possible to modify the inputs (not polluting and only the local ones) needed for each process and employ outputs for new uses. The result is the creation of a dense network of relationships around the Gattavecchi company, which Produzione vino

In a system, relationships between the different components build up the system, they characterize it and allow identification. Each single component, that can be assimilated to a network node, acquires more value since it is related to others, generating new relationships and new way of development. In Systemic Design, people, activities and resources are components of an open system that generates collective well-being. In Systemic Design, interactions between components create collaborative relationships strongly linked to the territory.

The university experience and passion for design has led to the creation of a lot of concepts, some of which are made in close contact with companies. Some projects take place from assigned themes, from social and environmental needs that need to communicate with technical aspects (such as usability and industrial production) and aesthetics. The work presented in this portfolio have been prototype in different ways: some through 3D modeling, others are real scale or full-scale models.

Nowadays, in order to achieve a complete preparation in designing, it is necessary to know how to use digital modeling and animation software. This competence enables to express themes and concepts through alternative and effective tools, that can engage the observer more than other means of communication. In the following chapter will be shown a digital animation designed with one of the most famous 3d modeling programs, Blender.
