What´s the relationship between Don and Sylvia like? How does it change from the beginning to the end of his story? What do you think it will be like in the future? Don and Sylvia were separated. When they were married they lived in Brisbane and they had one daughter. Her name is Judy and she will be one of the main characters in the story if not ``The Main Character´´ because of her age and her courage. Don and Sylvia separated because Don was working away a lot of time (he´s a plane´s pilot) After they separated Don went to the Pacific Islands. Sylvia and Judy went to live to a farm in a village. Sometime later Don returned to Brisbane to see them. When he arrived his friend Paul offered him to do a secret job, this work would make them win a lot of money (with this money Paul and Don would create his own pilot´s school and Don could return to Brisbane to stay with his family). Don accepted the work but he wanted to be with his daughter because he hadn’t spent enough time with her (Sylvia was very angry about Don´s work) so at finally Judy flew with them on their business trip to Melbourne. Throughout the story and after the plane disappearance, Don and Sylvia start ed thinking about their relationship again, and when the situation was tragic they really realized they still loved each other. And finally in the hospital Don promised to go to live with in the farm. Who has been your favourite character in this story? Give reason for your answer including a description for that character Judy is Don and Sylvia´s daughter. She is young but she demonstrates great maturity for her age. She is very courageous at all moments including the tragic situations. She knows how to manage in the country and she succeeds in surviving and saving her father´s life in a limit situation. She is the youngest in the story and however, she is the main character. All situations are around her, from the business trip until the reconciliation of her parents. Also she demonstrates that is very intelligent and that has got a lot of knowledge about general culture. I love this character because the story goes around how she manages the problems: finding help with her father when she rides the Australian horse, looking for help without her father because he has broken his leg, lying to Forsha’s people to do time Write a different ending to the story Forsha could take Judy with him. When they arrived in Brisbane he published in the mass media that he had rescued Judy, but after the later investigations, the police and Don´s statement in the presence of the judge discovered Forsha’s real character and he finished convicted to prison.
Judy and Sylvia decided to go to the Pacific Islands with Don to begin a new life. Beulah went with them and she leads her life with her friends, her new family!
