WEATHER & PACKING TIPS
WEATHER AND HOW TO PACK
GEOGRAPHY AND CLIMATE
Tucked high up in the tiny village of Le Miroir, Chalet Hibou is nestled between the rugged peaks of the French Alps. On and off-piste trails wind past centuries-old churches and snow capped mountains. The weather in the region can change quickly and temperatures vary based on time of day and placement of the sun. You can expect to experience the high-altitude chill both in the morning and evening hours. Crisp mornings give way to abundant sunshine and warmer afternoon temperatures. It is important to be prepared for a wide range of weather conditions. Plan accordingly with plenty of warm layers and rain gear to prepare yourself for cooler temperatures and unpredictable weather.
