It’s where the midnight sun allows for long peak-to-sea descents over the North Atlantic Ocean late into the evening. Here, huge couloirs and vast valleys scream for first tracks. Iceland’s maritime snowpack provides stable conditions ranging from smooth, buttery slopes and corn snow to fresh powder. At the end of the day, return to our Condé Nast award-winning lodge for a cocktail in our geothermal-heated pool or relax in our 5,000-squarefoot spa.

Deplar Farm was named one of the “Best Hotels in the World” on Condé Nast Traveler’s Gold List. This former sheep farm blends naturally with the surrounding landscape. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the mountains and driftwood and stone from the Fljótaá River adorn the rooms. Two helis stand right outside your front door ready to take you up to the peaks in minutes. After a day of skiing, relax in our indoor/outdoor pool and Viking sauna or take a dip in our cold plunge. End the day sitting fireside, with cocktail in hand, before enjoying a chefprepared, Icelandic dinner.

International flights arrive at the Keflavik International Airport (KEF), 45 minutes from downtown Reykjavik

Guests must transfer to the Reykjavik Domestic Airport for a 45-minute flight to Akureyri

Scheduled pickups by an Eleven employee will transport you 90 minutes to Deplar Farm
