Since nature is so important to us, sustainability drives our way of doing business. During our journey towards the use of waste, we discovered the remarkable potential of recycled materials. Thanks to our gained expertise and commitment to sustainability goals, our entire product range is crafted from 100% regran, adhering to our stringent standards for long-lasting quality. This makes our products the most sustainable choice in our category, producing 2.5 times fewer CO2 emissions than non-sustainable plastic pots, and an impressive 6 times less than ceramic pots.

Last year we used more than 10 million kilos of plastic waste that we converted into designer pots. When it comes to sourcing raw materials, our team is constantly searching for the best recycled materials to craft our long-lasting products in the most sustainable manner possible. We particularly enjoy using waste streams with a story…
NEW: the winery collection Bordeaux red and deep purple flowerpots crafted from plastic waste sourced from French vineyards. Europe faces a challenge with agricultural plastic waste, especially in picturesque French vineyards where plastic twines are used in grape cultivation, resulting in post-harvest plastic waste.
Together with our partner Healix, we transform this waste into beautiful pots, sourced from the regions Alsace and Champagne. 100% sustainable and on-trend with interior colours.

We design and develop our new products in a fully circular way: using renewable sources, creating no waste and all our products are recyclable.

We are proud to announce as the first supplier in the sector the launch of our elho eco passport
By providing clear insights into the environmental impact of each product, we aim to empower consumers to make informed choices.
On elho.com we show the CO2 footprint of all products. In addition, the passport provides information on energy consumption, material composition, warranty and certifications.

Dutch designer Lex Pott x elho
Lex Pott (1985), a talented Dutch designer with a proven track record with international design brands such as Hay, employs a raw and intuitive method. In his work, he returns to the origin of the materials. He has carefully selected the colours of the sets of these new indoor collection for elho, resulting in striking colour combinations.

In ‘New cocooning’ you find warm, comfortable colours. The colour ‘theatre red’ for loft and for the new outdoor family amiga fits in this trend. The new colours ‘bordeaux red’ and ‘deep purple’ of the winery collection as well.
