Brussels, 2012-01-30 ENTSO-E publishes notes and relevant documents from the formal bilateral meetings with stakeholder associations in the months leading to the launch of the public consultation on the draft “Network Code for Requirements for Grid Connection applicable to all Generators” (NC RFG). ENTSO-E also publishes an invitation to participate in a stakeholder user group in the phase after the public consultation. The mutually agreed minutes as well as the relevant presentations used in the discussions with stakeholders in advance of the public consultation on the NC RFG are now available (see the links below as well as the ENTSO-E website). ENTSO-E launched the eight week public consultation on the draft “Network Code for Requirements for Grid Connection applicable to all Generators” on 24 January 2012. The draft Network Code has evolved with input from stakeholders in public workshops hosted by ENTSO-E, as well as by TSOs at national level, and in on-going meetings with European-wide stakeholder associations. The pilot code released on 22 March 2011 and the working draft document on 2 November 2011 allowed for in-depth, open, transparent discussions on this network code. ENTSO-E also publishes an open invitation letter inviting stakeholders to submit their interest to participate in a stakeholder user group on the NC RFG. ENTSO-E wishes to continue the constructive interaction with stakeholders through this user group, in addition to the written input received in the public consultation phase. The invitation to participate in the user group is not only open to all associations that have already been involved in the formal consultation process to date but also to other European wide associations with a relevant role in the context of this network code. After the public consultation period two user group meetings will be organized. The invitation letter provides more detailed information. Documents of past bilateral meetings The following meeting documents are now available: Stakeholder in attendance at Meeting DSO Expert Group consisting of members from Eurelectric DSO, Cedec and Geode EUR

Background Information ENTSO-E’s ‘pilot code’ released on 22 March 2011 was updated after the publication of ACER’s final framework guidelines on electricity grid connections on 20 July 2011 and the EC mandate for ENTSO-E to start the formal development process of the “Network Code for Requirements for Grid Connection applicable to all Generators” on 29 July 2011. This resulted in the publication of a working draft document on 2 November 2011. The public consultation on the draft NC RFG is open from 24 January 2012 until 20 March 2012. Relevant documents z
