This notice concerns the detailed design, engineering, procurement, manufacture, installation, construction, testing, commissioning and maintenance of the interconnector (+/-1000MW). — Lot 1: HVDC Convertors (1 in United Kingdom and 1 in Belgium), — Lot 2: Marine HVDC Cable, — Lot 3: HVDC Convertors + Marine HVDC Cable. See annex B for further information. The scope of maintenance and any options will be described in the invitation to tender document. Applicants should further note that in order to be eligible to apply for lot 3, they must also complete an application for at least lot 1 or lot 2. The final contracting entity may be: (i) Elia Asset SA and/or National Grid International Limited or (ii) any of the company belonging to the Elia group or National Grid group or (iii) a new company that will be set up by one of the companies of the Elia Group and one of the companies of the National Grid group, as notified to the Applicants. With the most actual available data together with the requested documents. The PQQ completed file needs to be saved on a CDROM or a USB-Key and — as well as 2 printed paper version - enclosed in the candidature file. Please make sure you enclose a version “Word” / “Excel” and a version “Pdf” (signed) on the CDROM / USB-Key. The PQQ is an extensive questionnaire divided into general questions on the level of the company and specific questions regarding HVDC convertors / High Voltage Marine Cables & Safety. Delails about the full prequalification process is also described in the PQQ. In case of a joint venture / consortium, each of the partners separately has to submit the documents mentioned above including details of how they will operate as a joint venture. Elia & National Grid reserves the right to demand at any time from the applicant the written evidence and all the justificatory, official documents related to the legal position as specified above. Applicants who send their request to participate before the time limit mentioned in IV.3.4 will be invited to a supplier event that will be organized mid September (date to be confirmed) most probably in London or in Brussels to present the project NEMO. The project including the timelines will be described at the supplier event. All travel and other associated costs will be at bidder's own expenses.
