ELIA’s strategy focuses on operating, maintaining and developing the Belgian high-voltage grid with excellence. ELIA is constantly working to improve its operational efficiency on a cost effective way. ELIA is looking for the renewal of their existing telecommunication network to transform the communication capabilities to a next generation, flexible and reliable network. The successful management of a modern power grid is largely depending on reliable communications. Taking the opportunity to refresh telecommunications assets with modern technologies as older equipment is retired is an important step to cost-effectively realizing ELIA’s intelligent electricity network vision. To achieve those goals, a program has been set up. The program is well known under the name of DANNA – data acquisition new network architecture. This tender has several lot and each bidder may answer to all or to selected lot depending of his capacities.
