Elim International Missions

Elim International Missions has a passion is to see lives transformed through the redeeming work of Jesus Christ. Today, Elim International Missions works in nearly 50 countries around the world, sending missionaries to many different situations, but all with the aim of reaching people with the good news of Jesus Christ. Elim International Missions was born out of George Jeffreys' evangelistic crusades that took place following the founding of Elim in 1915. This spirit of evangelism and church planting led to missionaries being sent overseas from 1922 onwards, working mainly in Africa in connection with other Pentecostal groups. Originally called The Elim Missionary Society, Elim International Missions was founded in 1929. Although the Second World War curtailed missionary expansion, peace in 1945 led to new developments and the beginning of a flow of missionaries from the UK and Ireland to countries in Africa, South America and Asia.
