Intelligente Beleuchtungs- und Steuerungslösung von BRUMBERG Bei der RGBW-Beleuchtungslösung „vitaLED“ aus dem Hause BRUMBERG handelt es sich um ein Beleuchtungssystem für intelligentes Licht, bei dem sich zusätzlich zum RGB-Farbraum der gesamte Weißlichtbereich von 2.000 bis 10.000 Kelvin stufenlos regeln lässt. Resultat ist nicht nur die Möglichkeit, Räume durch Lichtfarben bzw. Farbverläufe in ein völlig unterschiedliches Ambiente zu tauchen. „vitaLED“ bietet zudem den Vorteil, vitales Licht zur Unterstützung der natürlichen Leistungskurve im Einklang mit dem menschlichen Biorhythmus abzubilden. Die Förderung der Leistungsfähigkeit und des Wohlbefindens wurde durch verschiedenste Untersuchungen nachgewiesen. Dem Kunden stehen dabei standardmäßig die unterschiedlichsten Möglichkeiten der Ansteuerung zur Auswahl. Neben Funk- bzw. IR-Fernbedienungen und kabelgebundenen Steuerungen findet man LAN- und WLAN-Bausteine mit einer intuitiven Benutzeroberfläche im Portfolio von „vitaLED“. Man kann das Licht direkt über jeden Computer oder über Smartphones regeln, ohne dass dafür eine separate Software installiert werden muss. Zur Steuerung ist lediglich der schon installierte Webbrowser von Nöten (es müssen dafür Adhoc Netzwerke unterstützt werden -> nur WLAN). Absolut neu dürfte es dem Markt sein, den vollen Funktionsumfang über KNX zu regeln, ohne dass dafür eine äußerst kostenintensive Programmierung beauftragt werden muss. Durch den Einsatz des Jung Facility-Pilots (FAP) gibt es keine Einschränkungen über den Leistungsumfang von „vitaLED“. Die KNX-Spezialisten aus Schalksmühle haben die Funktionen implementiert und in die Visualisierung der Benutzeroberfläche des Touch-Panels eingebunden. Selbstverständlich finden Sie auch Bausteine zur möglichen Anbindung an andere Systeme in unserem Portfolio. Somit sind diese wirklich neue Art der Beleuchtungssteuerung und intelligente Gebäudesystemtechnik miteinander vereint. Selbst dem Einsatz im HighEnd-Objektgeschäft steht nichts mehr im Wege. Informationen über die Steuerungsmöglichkeiten Zur intuitiven Ansteuerung hat der Anwender folgende Möglichkeiten bzw. Oberflächen: Farblicht Hier können die Farbkanäle RGBW (rot, grün, blau und weiß) manuell angepasst werden. Weißlicht Hier kann der gesamte Planksche-Kurvenzug (alle Weißtöne von 2.000 bis 10.000 Kelvin) abgebildet werden. Zudem kann die Intensität von 0-100% gesteuert werden. Farbverlauf Die Basis dieses Bildschirms ist ein vordefinierter Farbverlauf rund um das RGB-Farbdreieck, der in seinen Grundfarben nicht verändert werden kann. Zu beeinflussen ist jedoch die Farbsättigung, die Farbintensität und die Geschwindigkeit des Farbverlaufs. Farbdreieck Hier kann der Anwender sich mit dem Finger innerhalb der CIE-Farbtafel (RGB-Farbraum) bewegen. Das Licht verändert sich analog zur Position im Farbdreieck. Farbregie Auf diesem Screen besteht die Möglichkeit, sich seine eigenen Farbverläufe zu kreieren. Es können in je 12 Schritten die vier Farbkanäle R, G, B und W jeweils von 0-100% eingestellt werden. Im Anschluss kann ein Zeitraum (12 Minuten, 1 Stunde, 6 Stunden, 24 Stunden) zum Abspielen des Verlaufs gewählt werden. Selbstverständlich können diese, wie auch alle anderen Verläufe, gespeichert werden.

Vital-Verlauf Die Oberfläche „Vital-Verlauf“ ist sicher die spannendste Variante der Steuerung. Hierbei kann in 12 Schritten der Blauanteil des Lichts über einen bestimmten Zeitraum geregelt werden. Der Zeitraum kann dabei manuell eingegeben werden. Wissenschaftliche Erkenntnisse erklären den direkten Einfluss des Lichtspektrums auf die menschliche Hormonsteuerung. Mit einer tageszeitabhängigen (circadianen) Steuerung der Lichtspektren und Lichtfarben können positive, nichtvisuelle Beleuchtungseffekte genutzt und die Hormonsteuerung somit positiv beeinflusst werden. In einer Studie des Universitätsklinikums Hamburg-Eppendorf zur „Wirksamkeit von dynamischem Licht in Hamburger Schulklassen“ wurde das Lichtspektrum zwischen „aktivierend“, „beruhigend“ und „konzentriertes Arbeiten“ umgeschaltet und beispielsweise eine Erhöhung der Lesegeschwindigkeit um 35% und eine Reduktion der Fehlerrate bei den Schülern um bis zu 45% erreicht. Lichtszenen Auf allen Bildschirm-Oberflächen sind 6 Lichtszenen (Speicherplätze) hinterlegt. Diese sind bei Auslieferung wie folgt definiert: Nutzlicht, Wake-Up, Relax, Vital-Verlauf, Chill-Out, Rainbow und können im Nachgang individuell mit neuen Lichtszenen überschrieben werden.

vitaLED wurde in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Forschungsschwerpunkt „Neue Beleuchtungstechnologien“ der Fachhochschule Südwestfalen (Prof. Dr. Ulrich Kuipers) entwickelt. Der Forschungspartner hat u.a. bereits die ersten zertifizierten LED-Positionsleuchten für die Schifffahrt und deutschlandweit die erste LED-Straßenbeleuchtung entwickelt. Intelligent solutions for lighting and its control by BRUMBERG The RGBW lighting solution „vitaLED“ by BRUMBERG is designed to provide intelligent lighting solutions and can, in addition to the RGB colour spectrum, display the entire achromatic field from 2000 to 10000 Kelvin, variably controllable. The result is not only the option to submerge rooms in various ambiences by means of light colour respectively colour gradients, but especially to offer vital light to positively influence the human biorythm and correspondingly the personal well-being and performance of people. There are manifold options available to control the light. Besides infra-red or radio remote control units, LAN and WLAN modules are available to interconnect to the system via intuitive user interface. Without the need of complex software installation can this interface easily be accessed by any brower based device, be it a smart phone, a tablet computer or a conventional PC or Mac (W-LAN ad-hoc-network support required). Another exclusive option to control the lighting system is the use of the JUNG Facility Pilot which provides the opportunity to easily embed vitaLED into the building’s KNX environment. For instance, can a chosen RGBW lighting sequence either be controlled individually or in interaction with suitable music via a multimedia system interconnected to the JUNG Facility Pilot. The application is versatile - from private houses to offices and show rooms, to hotels and restaurants. There are suitable vitaLED options available to serve for almost any requirement.

Information about control options The user has the following control screens availble for intuitive lighting scene settings: Chromatic light Manual adjustment of the individual RGBW colour channels (red, green, blue and white) Achromatic light Manual control of all white tones on the Planckian graph, seamlessly adjustable between 2000 and 10000 Kelvin at intensities from 0-100% Colour gradients This screen offers a predefined colour gradient around the RGB colour triangle which cannot be changed in its basic colour setting. However, the colour saturation, colour intensity and the colour gradient’s speed can be adjusted. Colour triangle This screen allows to simply chose a colour from the CIE colour triangle (RGB spectrum) by a finger tip. Colour management Setting up individual colour gradients is the topic of this screen. Each of the four RGBW colour channels can independently be levelled from 0-100% and subsequently merge to colour scenes. These scences can then be run over time periods of 12 minutes, 1 hour, 6 or 24 hours. Of course can scenes also be saved to be available when desired.

Vital gradient The “Vital gradient” is certainly the most exciting control option in which the blue component of the white light spectrum follows individual or pre-set graphs whithin a specific time period. This time period again can be 12 minutes, 1 hour, 6 or 24 hours. Scientific findings explain the direct influence of the spectrum on the human hormonal system. By means of the circadian control of light spectrum and colours, non-visual lighting effects are used to positively influence the human hormonal system. The study ‚Efficiency of Dynamic Lighting in School Classes in Hamburg‘, by the university clinic Hamburg-Eppendorf, has proven that this type of intelligent lighting control is also advantageous in teaching and working environments. In this study, the light spectrum was switched between ‚stimulating‘, ‚calming‘, and ‚focused working‘. This resulted in a 35% increase in reading speed and a decrease in students‘ error rates of up to 45%. Lighting scenes The vitaLED user interface provides 6 pre-defined lighting scenes which are „Effective light“, „Wake-up“, „Relax“, „Vital gradient“‚ „Chill-out“ and „Rainbow“. These scenes can of course also be re-configured and stored according to personal preferences.

vitaLED has been developed as main research for new lighting technologies in cooperation with a local UAS (Fachhochschule Südwestfalen, Prof. Dr. Ulrich Kuipers, “Neue Beleuchtungstechnolo-gien”). Our research partner has already developed the first certified LED navigation lanterns for shipping and the nationwide first LED street lights in Germany for instance. vitaLED - Beleuchtungssteuerung mit Facility-Pilot Vitale Beleuchtungssteuerung: Das RGBW-Lichtsystem „vitaLED“ von BRUMBERG kann jetzt komfortabel über den JUNG Facility-Pilot bedient und so in die Gebäudesystemtechnik integriert werden. Mit vitaLED lässt sich zusätzlich zum RGB-Farbraum auch der gesamte Bereich des Weißlichtes stufenlos steuern. So erhalten Räume durch Lichtfarbe und Farbverläufe Atmosphäre. Zudem bietet es den Vorteil, „vitales“ Licht zur Unterstützung der Leistungskurve im Einklang mit dem menschlichen Biorhythmus zu schaffen. Dafür wurde vitaLED in Zusammenarbeit mit der Fachhochschule Südwestfalen und Prof. Dr. Ulrich Kuipers entwickelt. Der JUNG Facility-Pilot ermöglicht es nun, vitaLED den individuellen Bedürfnissen gemäß zu steuern. Damit kann der Anwender vitaLED in seine Gebäudesystemtechnik einbinden und alle Funktionen zusammen über nur eine, intuitive Bedienoberfläche regeln. In einer Szenensteuerung lässt sich so z. B. die passende RGBW-Lichtstimmung mit der Wohlfühltemperatur und der Multimediaanlage kombinieren. Das schafft Komfort! vitaLED – lighting control via Facility-Pilot Vital lighting control: The vitaLED RGBW lighting system by BRUMBERG can now conveniently be controlled via the JUNG Facility-Pilot and is, in this manner, being embedded into the overall building management system. In addition to the RGB colour space vitaLED also allows to adjust the entire spectrum of white light. Different light colours and colour gradients can submerge rooms in various ambiances. Another benefit is the option of circadian control of light spectra and colours to achieve non-visual lighting effects which positively influence the human hormonal system and support the well-being and performance of people. For this reason, the RGBW lighting system vitaLED was developed in cooperation with the Südwestfalen University of Applied Sciences, headed by professor Ulrich Kuipers. The JUNG Facility Pilot enables vitaLED to easily suit individual needs with all building management functions being available via just one single intuitive user interface. For instance allows scene control to combine your multimedia system with appropriate RGBW lighting sequences. Make yourself comfortable!
