morphing phone charger
2nd semester project
01 LUNA
BRIEFING The briefing was to create a morphing phone charger based on a persona, which was described the semester before.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION My personal approach was to create an object that is not only functional but also emotionally bounding. The finished product should help and reflect yourself in the communication process. Having the given requirements on emotional boundance in mind my final proposal for the dockingsation is formed in the shape of a bowl. It opens up when you get a call. Inside the bowl you may find a necklace, which consists of a mircophone and a speaker.

TARGET GROUP
Eva Green
The persona described in the former semester, by myself, was named Eva Green. Eva Green is a stressed out businesswoman, who loves her family. Eva tries to live a healthy life and also cares a lot about her appearance. She would like to take more care of herself and relax but even back home she gets a lot of business calls.

LUNA
a solution for the stressed out With LUNA Eva is now able to put her phone out of sight and will only get calls from numbers she allowed to call in the first place. With LUNA she is wearing a minimalistic „necklace“- speaker, an object she feels comfortable while wearing. So she doesn´t have to hold her phone while speaking and the communication process is way more stressless than before.

rolaminate giveaway
02 PENGO
BRIEFING The briefing was to create a giveaway which represents the three design studies of our university and also to use the attributes of rolaminate.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION PENGO stands for „PEN-TO-GO“ and is all you need for your favorite pens. It is a portable pencilcase which tranforms into a pencilholder when you place it on the table. You may also put small objects like coins, rubbers, a sharpener, lucky charms and so on in it. It can also be used to carry your favorite pens.

03 JUSAVI
BRIEFING The briefing was to create a lamp inspired by a design classic: the correalistic rocker by Friedrich Kiesler. Based on the given design classic a target group was developed which than should influence the finished lamp. It was a main requirement for the lamp to create at least two different lighting situation: an ambient lighting as well as a direct lighting for reading.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION I chose to develop my product based on some keywords I defined: „constructivism“, „reduction“ and „emotional durability“. DESIGN PROCESS -

04 SUUMI
BRIEFING The briefing for my art high school diploma was to develop a new product for a company chosen by the team (2 people).
PROJECT DESCRIPTION My partner and I worked in cooperation with the austrian design studio PERLUDI, which specializes on designing extraordinary children furniture. The company asked us to develop a concept for a modular and multifunctional furniture which can be used in Kindergardens and also at home. The requirements given, which must have been met: • • • • • • •
should help children to learn positive effect on the cognitive brain part emotionaly durable longlasting and stable conception of space eco friendly made out of wood

our target group children between 3-5 years Based on the briefing and our target group we developed many different concepts and decided the modular varietes of SUMMI would fit the best to our aims.
our aim was to create a furniture which allows the chilren to learn in a playfull way to help them train their cognitive brainpart and their feeling for space.
our aim was also to create a modular furniture, which allows the children to arrange the hole room with one module in different ensembles.
interior The whole room can be arranged with SUMMI in different combinations and it also works as a room divider, a sittinggroup, a chair, a shelf etc. Because of its shape there are countless possibilities for combinations.

PLUG CONNECTION
fun and educational
The connection provides safety for children when they plug SUMMI together. Also because of the nice shape and the bright colors children love the plugs which help train color recognition and spatial perception.
CONSTRUCTION

We wanted a simple but also stable solution and decided for wooden pegs.

BRIEFING The briefing was to create a product based on a huge trend research with inclusion of the three human factors: - physical factor - cognitive factor - socio-cultural factor
PROJECT DESCRIPTION The concept of the project is to combine physical health with supportive bachstraps and mental health with an supportive app. At the beginning we did a trendresearch based on the keywords „eldery society“ and „travelling“ to define the problem statement. During the whole design process we were in touch with the targetgroup and developed a productive base on their feedback. DESIGN PROCESS -

posture-correcting straps The product comes with lower back support through its thicker lumbar strap. It wraps around the lower waist area to target the lower back, waist, hips, and tailbone area giving optimum back comfort. The strap is adjustable for a snug and gives a tight fit for every individual.
The straps are designed intentionally close to the shoulders for effective posture correction. As the shoulders are pulled back, the back will automatically straighten and the user will feel more confident to push on forward with the day or exercise routine.
adjustable lumbar support
breathable light design The aim behind the design is to create something as simple and light as possible so that people can put on the straps burden-free and confidently. The straps also needed to be light so they can be easily hidden under clothes while also providing enough air circulation to cool down the user.
The spine is one of the most important parts in the human body and is also one of the most used. The users will feel free to move around as much as they like, as if they aren’t wearing anything at all, yet still having the support they need. flexible spine feature

BRIEFING faces of commonication commoness meets prosumers and communication
PROJECT DESCRIPTION The subject of this work deals with a connection between social entrepreneurship and alternative food systems in urban areas. The core aim of the concept is a functioning aquaponics system with an app for the household. The focus is about user-friendliness, sustainability, community and food consumption. Another aim of this work is to help the user understand the problems of current food consumption, to offer him a possible solution and also to increase the acceptance and awareness of aquaponics and hydroponics as a complementary alternative to conventional agriculture. This is also my bachelor thesis. DESIGN PROCESS -

what is aquaponic? „Aquaponics is the cultivation of fish and plants together in a constructed, recirculation ecosystem utilizing natural bacterial cycles to convert fish waste to plant nutrients. This is an environmentally friendly, natural food-growing method that harnesses the best attributes of aquaculture and hydroponics without the need to discard any water or filtrate or add chemical fertilizers.“ (Bernstein S. 2011, S.1)

FOOTPRINT uses billboards and poster walls to present the company in an unobtrusive way by combining beautiful photographs with clever and catchy phrases leading over to the brand.
In the first place the use of social media is to stay in contact with the customers. And second ly it is a really powerfull and cheap tool to link all different channels together and create a coherent appearance.
