Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be on a ship where you’ll feel like you’ve stepped onto a film set, surrounded by wonderful art and spectacular backdrops? Costa Atlantica is that ship: it’s dedicated to the maestro of Italian cinema, Federico Fellini and its twelve decks all bear the name of the great director’s films. Every area on this “floating cinema” is adorned with the most exquisite materials and dotted with lights, colours and incredible scenery, making it the perfect stage for cruises in the northern and southern seas, which you can admire from the sea-view balconies.

Every day on board Costa Atlantica offers you a thrilling new experience, with interiors that are designed to amaze: like La Dolce Vita Atrium, a sumptuous, majestic lounge with three panoramic lifts that take you up towards the dazzling glass roof, the balconies looking out over the sea and the waterfalls on the staircase in Madama Butterfly Square, not to mention the Florian Café - a perfect reproduction of the historic 18th century café in Venice. The art of the grand masters on board. The unmistakable hand of Milo Manara decorates Costa Atlantica’s interiors: his illustrations adorn the decks and tell the story of the most famous scenes from Fellini’s works. On this queen of the sea, art is all around you - in the lounges, on the decks and in the public areas, with historic photographs by Tazio Secchiaroli, who was the first to immortalise Rome’s “dolce vita” on film, and mixed media silk screen prints by Carlo Mattioli. A never-ending show Whether you’re having meetings or fun in the evening, there’s the perfect setting for everyone
Costa Atlantica is full of large, open spaces offering all kinds of entertainment, from the Caruso Theatre with three-level seating for 1,213 people, to the Disco Dante, two floors of music where you can dance the night away or enjoy a cocktail by the dancefloor. There are also beautifully designed squares and terraces where you can spend unforgettable evenings, like the Atlantica Club, with its clear roof so you can gaze up at the stars, or the Fortuna Casino, to tempt lady luck at its exciting gaming tables, or the Corallo Ballroom, the setting for grand events. The excitement on board never ends.

For people who like to keep in shape when they’re on holiday, Costa Atlantica is a fitness centre on the waves, with a multipurpose sports pitch for football, basketball and volleyball matches, a panoramic jogging course and the Olimpia Gym, set over two floors, with all the latest training equipment. And after all that sport, how about a swim and spending a little time catching some rays? There’s a Waterslide and sun loungers on the Ginger & Fred Lido, featuring a pool with a retractable roof and two jacuzzis. It’s the ideal stop before having a drink at the Aurora Bar, as you gaze out over the sea.

Tiziano Restaurant - This warm and welcoming 20th-century style restaurant on two decks is furnished in the warm tones of light wood. Magnificent crystal chandeliers hang down from the painted ceiling. This is Costa Atlantica’s main restaurant. Botticelli Buffet Restaurant - A restaurant where you can lunch surrounded by wonderful works of art, with a mood reminiscent of days gone by. Delicious, original menus are served over the course of the day, as well as delightful snacks and excellent pizzas. Club Atlantica Buffet - An elegant restaurant with an à la carte menu, for the perfect special dinner. You’re bound to make a spectacular entrance on the glass staircase designed by the artist Luciano Vistosi. With its large windows, it’s perfect for dinner looking out over the sea.

Madama Butterfly Bar - The ideal bar for relaxing in the exotic atmosphere of Puccini’s opera, with a view over the sea as you listen to the music, or take to the dancefloor. Florian Café - This beautiful bar offers one of Venice’s most famous sights at sea: a perfect reproduction of the café in St. Mark’s Square. Via Veneto Bar - This delightful lounge named after the street in Rome is inspired by scenes from the “dolce vita”, evoked in the large photo prints that line the walls. Paparazzi Bar - The ideal place for a drink after a work meeting or to listen to some live music, this bar is dedicated to the stars of the “dolce vita”.
