The Teacher, every day, would have Little Pauline stay after class and write 50 times on the Black board, “Pauline will not speak, unless spoken to.” “Pauline will not speak, unless spoken to.”

Fay’s Mother (Mattie) lived with her Sister (Willie) and her 3 small children for a short period of time. Back then, Fay was about 11 or 12 and her cousins, were ba bies just learning to walk. Fay wanted someone to call her Aunt and she thought it would be cute, to have her cousins call her Aunt. Every chance she got, she would say, “Come to Aunt Pauline and sit on my lap, Come to Aunt Pauline and give her a kiss, Say Good Night to your Aunt Pauline.” This went on for months on end, until they were com pletely (Brain Washed) into calling her, Aunt Pauline. This continued into Adult hood and Marriage, even the Cousin’s Kids, referred to Fay, as Aunt Pauline. One day Wesley’s Wife, Abby said to Wes “You know, that Pauline is really not your Aunt don’t You?” Wes says, Oh yes she is, I’ve called her that all my life! Abby replies
