THE CONCEPT WAS ORIGINALLY DEVELOPED BY ESTEEMED PROFESSOR OF INTERNATIONAL MARKETING, PHILIP KOTLER. HE BELIEVES THAT MARKETING IS A MAJOR ECONOMIC DISCIPLINE THAT GOES BEYOND PROMOTION AND SELLING TO INCLUDE PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT, DISTRIBUTION AND PRICING THEORY. MARKETING AND PROMOTION PLAY A HUGE ROLE IN THE SUCCESS OF FASHION AND LUXURY FASHION BRANDS SO I HAVE CREATED THIS ZINE TO SHOW EACH OF THE 7 P’S OF MARKETING FOCUSING ON THE WAY THEY ARE USED IN FASHION. “THE PRICE IS THE AMOUNT A CUSTOMER PAYS FOR THE PRODUCT, IT DETERMINES THE COMPANY'S PROFIT”


PROMOTION

“THE METHODS OF COMMUNICATION THAT A MARKETER MAY USE TO PROVIDE INFORMATION ABOUT THE PRODUCT.”


PLACE

“REFERS TO PROVIDING THE PRODUCT AT A PLACE WHICH IS CONVENIENT FOR CONSUMERS TO ACCESS.”


PACKAGING “THIS REFERS TO THE PHYSICAL EVIDENCE OF YOUR GOODS OR SERVICES.”


PEOPLE

“ALL PEOPLE DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY INVOLVED IN THE CONSUMPTION OF A SERVICE PLAY AN IMPORTANT PART.”


POSITION
