StripeCon Visual Identity

Introduction This booklet contains a broad overview of the StripeCon brand. This includes, the logo, colour palette and graphic elements. The StripeCon brand will evolve from event to event. This booklet contains guidelines for the StripeCon 19 brand and is a starting point for developing it further.

StripeCon 19 StripeCon 19 continues to use the orange and pink colour palette and octagonal shaped logo from 2017. The added geometric shapes, 3D feel and an extended colour palette form the foundation of the StripeCon 19 design system.

Logo There are three versions of the primary logo. The octagonal combination mark can be used both on it’s own and with accompanying text.

Using the logo When using the logo ensure there is adequate spacing. When placed on dark backgrounds use white text. Always ensure there is sufficient contrast between the pink/orange logo and the background, e.g. greys are often not a suitable background. The text that accompanies the logo can be changed and updated to suit the situation.

Logo evolution The StripeCon logo can evolve and change for new events. An option for differentiating the different years or locations is colour. The octagonal shape and SilverStripe ‘S’ should always remain the same. StripeCon 17 logo
