CLIENT REVIEWS | TIM BYRNE Tim and the Partners Trust crew handled the sale of our house on 2nd St in Santa Monica in July / August of 2013. At the time we chose Tim, I do not think we appreciated the depth of his team and the first class professionalism they would bring to the process. In short, they surpassed our expectations on every level. The part that struck me most was the degree to which the entire process was scripted and planned out element by element. Tim recognized – frankly even more so than we did – that our property was special and in short supply. He wanted us to wrap up the process as quickly as possible by creating some market buzz through inclusion in print advertising and a “coming soon” teaser that was backed by a professional photo shoot (we saved all the photos as keepsakes as they did a fantastic job). Through that effort and simply talking up the house to many of his connections we were able to host one broker open house on a Tuesday, another later that same week and be done. Interested brokers came back and Tim built momentum by letting them know they were one of many, then shutting down our weekend open house and setting a quick deadline for offers. He and his crew then took those offers and sliced and diced them for us in every possible way so we could make an informed decision. He also talked to each broker to get a sense of where their heads were which led him to ultimately tell us that we should open it up to one more round of “best and final” bids which produced significantly better offers … Ultimately nearly 25% over asking. Our buyers were rather difficult and here Tim and team really stepped up again, both doing all the dirty work of dealing with repeated inspections and calmly and supportively listening to our frustrations. He kept our heads on straight and got us to the finish line in swift and happy fashion. Ultimately I can’t say enough about the quality of the service and “product” we got from Tim and team. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him and I wouldn’t dare choose anyone else if in the same place again. - Michael Cox
