HOW TO GET THERE SANDOWN PARK RACECOURSE, PORTSMOUTH ROAD, ESHER, SURREY, KT10 9AJ 19 NOVEMBER 2019 | 9AM TO 5PM BY CAR From London, take the A3 and follow the brown venue signs to Sandown Park. Exit onto the A307 and continue to follow the brown venue signs. Alternatively, from the M25, exit at Junction 10 and follow the A3 towards London before exiting onto the A307 and following the brown venue signs. If you are using a sat nav, please enter ‘Portsmouth Road’ rather than the Sandown Park postcode – this will bring you to our main car park which is just off the A307 (Esher High Street) and is directly in front of the main entrance. For electric car users, there are four Polar “fast charge” points in operation in the main car park.

PARKING Parking is free, with ample space for over 2,000 cars. You can reach the car park from the A307 Portsmouth Road. Coach parking is also available at the same car park, and there are allocated parking spaces for those with disabilities.

Esher rail station is just a 10-minute walk from the main entrance of Sandown Park Racecourse. Visitors should turn left out of the station onto Station Road and then right at the T-junction to join the A307 Portsmouth Road. The entrance to Sandown Park is on the right-hand side. Alternatively, there is a taxi rank at the rail station for those less able to walk. Please note that Esher rail station is located outside of Zones 1-6, and that Oyster cards are not valid when travelling to Esher. A paper ticket must be purchased in advance of travelling.

WHERE TO SIT AND EAT In a day jam-packed with seminars, exhibitors and demonstrations, it’s important to take time to relax and refuel. That’s why this year we’ve allocated extra room for you to sit down and grab a bite to eat. Head to the Pro Landscaper Cafe in the Sports Bar for tea and coffee, or to the Esher Hall where a variety of sandwiches, hot and soft drinks will be available. You have the option to either sit down and relax, or take it away. In Surrey Hall, you’ll find a Costa Coffee serving all the chain’s usual drinks and bites. For something more substantial, you’ll also find the food hall serving hot food, sandwiches, and hot and cold drinks. Finally, we have the return of the food concessions. Located outside, next to the demo area, there’s two new food options to choose from and a comfortable new seating area in the Espresso House.

MEET THE TEAM Jamie Wilkinson Event Director Jamie decided to embark on a career in the media sector after college, and was keen to bring the family together to start the business in 2011. He leads Eljays44’s sales team and has great rapport with suppliers. He has a passion for FutureScape, which he helped build from the start, and loves nothing more than liaising with exhibitors at the event.

Amber Bernabe Head of Events With a background in event management, Amber has been at Eljays44 for nearly six years, co-ordinating awards, conferences and exhibitions. She is first point of contact for FutureScape logistics, and oversees the organisation by working closely with exhibitors and industry figures, ensuring clients and visitors have the best experience.

Jessica McCabe Head of Sales Jess is the head of sales for Eljays44, primarily working on the flagship brand Pro Landscaper. She is the first point of contact for advertising enquiries, and will be visiting exhibitors to make sure they include the magazine in marketing campaigns, so that visitors at the show can follow-up on products and services.

Nina Mason Head of Content As head of content, Nina is the go-to for all editorial enquiries relating to each of Eljays44’s publications, though her principal focus is on Pro Landscaper. Nina has a background in features writing, but as a panel host at FutureScape she will be turning her hand to steering debates around key industry topics.

Lisa Wilkinson Director Lisa, director of Eljays44 and a huge garden enthusiast, combines her publishing and events experience with her interest for landscape and garden design. Since launching the business with her family over 8 years ago, she has built a sound knowledge of the sector and is determined to help raise the profile of the value of gardens and public spaces.

Jim Wilkinson Managing Director Jim launched FutureScape in 2012 following the huge success of Pro Landscaper the year before, when he and his wife Lisa, with their sons Jamie and Joe, started Eljays44. Jim’s track record as a successful business brand developer helped the magazine and event quickly establish themselves as leaders in the landscape sector.
