Breakfast with Santa

Sat, December 2 ● 9-11am

Enjoy a buffet style breakfast with Santa. Santa will be present at breakfast and available for family photos. Children will receive a small token from Santa and are welcome to deliver any holiday letter they may have directly to him.

Get into the holiday spirit while shopping at our annual Holiday Bazaar! Bring the whole family for a photo opportunity with the Grinch on Sat, Dec 2 from 10-12pm! The Bazaar features treasures such as: jewelry, handcrafted items, ceramics, quilted, knitted and crocheted items. Food and $1 Raffle tickets will be available for purchase. All proceeds support Sheila Ray Adult Center. Admission is Free.

Join Rudolph and the other reindeer for Elk Grove Park District’s Reindeer Games! Get ready for fun as we take the Reindeer Olympics Challenge. Participants will compete in many different reindeer games to win prizes. See if you can make it on the leaderboard to win the grand prize!

Polar Express Sun, December 10

Join us for a trip on the Polar Express Storytime train! We will meet and board the train at the Itasca Metra station to embark on a fun filled adventure to the North Pole. Stories will be read, a snack will be served and children will have a chance to visit with Santa! The trip will run from Itasca to Elgin and back again. Guests will receive a confirmation letter in the mail prior to the trip. The train leaves on time, so don’t be late! Children 12 months and up must purchase a ticket.

Crafters, DYIers and Small Business Owners will display their talents at our Holiday Gift Show. Shop up to 30 vendors showcasing items for home decor, jewelry, accessories and dozens of unique one-of-a-kind gifts. Vendors must register by Fri, November 17 to secure a space. Contact sclift@elkgroveparks.org for a Vendor Application. Admission is FREE!

Santa Storytime Fri, December 15

Santa is coming all the way from the North Pole to share a special story time with the girls and boys of Elk Grove! Make a Cookie at Santa’s cookie shop, get your picture taken with the big guy himself and enjoy some hot chocolate while listening to Mrs. Claus read a story.
