General Information

What’s the Buzz...

This is my final letter as President of the Sheila Ray Advisory Board. It has been a pleasure getting to know so many wonderful and interesting individuals. I believe the advisory board plays a crucial role at the Sheila Ray Adult Center.

Our board meets every third Tuesday at 10 o’clock. If you have any ideas or concerns, please join us at a meeting. Everyone is welcome, and we love hearing your thoughts.

We have so much to look forward to. In October, we’ll have the “Let’s Make a Deal” Luncheon. In November, we’ll honor our veterans with a special luncheon. December will feature our Holiday Luncheon at the Belvedere with entertainment by Good Clean Fun.

Several trips are also planned. In October, we’ll visit Starved Rock and take a Halloween Trolley Light tour in Naperville. November will bring us to the Marriott Theater to see “White Christmas.” December includes the Milwaukee Bakery Tour and a visit to White Fence Farm to see “Joy of the Farm.” Additionally, our Holiday Bazaar will be held on December 6 and 7.

Be sure to sign up early so you don’t miss out on all the fun!
